Oh man I was just about to post this. The movie looks amazing but goddamn it I don't think I can wait another whole year. And this is only part 1 of the movie. I'm very excited about this
I'm really excited for this. I'm a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan. I've seen all the movies like 50 times and I still enjoy them!
I can't wait for this movie! I started hearing rumors about it a few years ago saying that a Hobbit movie was in the works. It looks amazing! I'm so glad Peter Jackson still has a hold on this series. But it's like....this trailer is a huge tease!! XD An epic one at that! First it's like check out this epic trailer you've all been waiting for! Then towards the middle it's like "But you have to wait another FULL year!" Then at the end it's like "BAM! December 14 2011 Haha we tricked you!" But I'm not complaining. I've been waiting for this movie for years and at least it's only one year away, and not five. ( ^.^ ) Oh and I have the book somewhere in my messy room. I should read it.
I read the book for school last year, and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed it and if it weren't for school, I probably wouldn't have picked it up. As for the movie, it looks amazing. I'm really excited for it (: !!
I've never read The Hobbit, or any of the Lord of the Rings books, but Makaze says I should, so I think I will before this movie comes out. But I've seen the trailer, and honestly, it looks amazing.
I am so excited for this. I grew up with the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and really really really am looking forward to this. And the riddles. Oh those riddles. Much love. Cannot waitttttt <3
This looks interesting. I thought for sure that I saw the dwarf from the other three movies, but I guess not. Hope it has a good amount of action like the last movies....well actually the first didn't have nearly as much as the other two, but I hope it still has some good parts
Ohhhh I can't wait for this movie!! I love the Hobbit! It's going to be so awsome, now I don't have to watch that animated version for my Bilbo fix
I am so stoked for this movie. And it was a great choice to choose the Hitchhiker's Guide guy to play Bilbo. I was really happy to see him play that role. He'll do a great job
I am not disappoint. Not that I expected to be. The new cast was flawless, and the movie didn' t feel like butter spread over too much bread. I even look forward to the (probable) future extended cut. The additions taken from Tolkien' s addendum are very welcome, they prevented me to see everything coming from a mile away.
I just went to see this last night, and it was an awesome movie, and nothing about it made it feel like it was 3 hours long. I was drawn into it so much, and it was pretty comical, especially compared to the last film. It was hard seeing Sarumon as a good guy though, since we all know what happens to him. But Radagast was pretty entertaining when they showed him, as well as us actually getting a physical....well, spiritual representation of Sauron
Just came back from seeing it. It's probably my movie of the year. It's just beautiful, epic, humourous, and so many other things. Long movies usually tend to tire me out, but I honestly didn't want this to end. I can't wait to see the sequels.
First picture from the second movie released : So ... wait ... the whole Smaug arc will be covered by the end of that movie ? I just wut ? Okay, I clearly didn' t see that coming at all. Apparently the whole third movie will be focused on something called "The Battle of the Five Armies". Don' t tell me what that is, I' m too busy dancing around, fangasming at the prospect of not knowing the story beforehand, not even a single scene.
The Lord of the Rings (the books) were a sequel to The Hobbit, they just shot the movies in a George Lucas order. Some characters appear in both.
