The High Seas

Blade sighed once more "best I check on her" Blade said as he headed to the captains quarter and knocked on the door

 

Mya tried to say something, but coughed up more blood and fell to the floor unconsious before she could respond.

 

"captain?" Blade said after hearing a thud and immediately opened the door and ran in "Mya" Blade said picking her up "i have to get you to a doctor" Blade said

 

Mya stayed unconsious and slowly started to get a fever.

 

Running as fast as he could, Blade carried Mya and tried to find a doctor

 

One pirate walked up to Blade. She doesn't look so well. You need help finding a doctor? The nearest one is around that corner and the second house on the left.

 

"thanks" Blade said as he headed towards where the pirate told him to go and barged in "I need help somethings wrong with her" Blade said

 

The doctor gave him a startled look. At least knock first. He examined Mya and checked her pulse. Looks like poison. Her heart rate is abnormaly fast. Be right back. He checked his shelves.

 

Blade placed her down and crossed his arms

 

The doctor gave Blade a vial of liquid. Give this to her when she wakes up...assuming she ever does. He walked back into his office.

 

Blade nodded and sat next to Mya with his arm crossed

 

Conny nodded, grateful and walked with her back to the Sea Dragon.

Dante scowled when he saw Conny with Kate again. "Ah, Dante we should be leaving soon. It's morning after all and the crew is.." Alistar never got to finish his sentence as Dante stood, "Miss Kate, I see our young Mr. Brady found you and gave you our gift. It's the least I could do, seeing as I woke up with everything in tact." he was joking of course but as to what only Conny was confused about.

Alistar quickly added in, "Captain Leighton is very grateful you were patient with him when he was drunk last night."

 

Kate laughed, "Thank you, though you needn't worry. It was fine, I had an very enjoyable night and you were good" She said, just wanting to forget the odd moments.

 

Dante smiled, "Ah, good then. Well then, Mr. Brady, shall we be setting sail?"

Conny smiled at Kate and scurried aboard the ship, "Good bye missus Kate. We hope to see you again!"

Dante kept his smile in place and mumbled to Alistar, "What does he mean 'we'? I swear Conny has become much more outspoken than before."

 

Kate nodded "Goodbye, it has been both a pleasure and an honor to meet you all" She smiled, first looking at the cabin boy, she'd actually grown fond of Conny before looking up at Dante.

 

Dante shouted orders and the crew hurried to obey. "Mr. Marlowe, any news on my dreaded ex wife?"

Alistar sighed, "You may want to avoid docking back here for a few months. Miss Claire was determined to see you but I deterred her as long as I could while you were talking to Miss Kate."

 

As she walked off the ship, she glanced back at the now busy ship with a slight sense of regret. She guessed it was back to the old routine, she wanted so long to swap ship and a chance had just come along, slapped her in the face and she'd ignored it. She cursed herself as she slowly walked along, head down.

 

Blade sighed as he sat next to Mya "second day and already trouble" Blade said quietly

 

Mya slightly groaned as she opened her eyes. Ugh. I feel like crap.

 

Dante observed as his ship made it's way out to open sea. He felt the need to look at the old maps he'd made, looking for spanish treasure, but those maps led to nothing. He sighed and drifted into his thoughts.
