The High Seas

John was 16 km (10 miles) away from the island when the storm started it blew his ship into a rock destroying it John grabbed a piece of wreckage and clung to it. Half an hour passed and he just kept floating he now wondered if he would ever reach land.He came across a journal floating in the ocean. He could only make out a few words."they.........me........island..................stop the.........w..t" the rest was ripped out.

 

"Ah I swear this evening couldn't be more...uneventful." Choosing to keep his affairs silent as always, he touched the locket around his neck and lessened his grin to a pleasant smile, "And what brings a first mate like you out here without your Captain around?"

 

Kate smirked, "Oh, he'll be around somewhere probably drunk of his head, the old fool. The crew has scattered, let them enjoy their night off. No, I've got to collect them all from whereever, and sort all their messes out to leave on time. They'll come find me before if anything happens to sort it all out" She sighed and smiled, "So, my plan was to enjoy a little respite from them"

 

he floated and floated for what seemed like days but was probably only a couple of minutes. He went insane, he took out his pistol and shot at the sky 4 times.he found a sandwich that was soaked ans half eaten but it was edible so he ate it.he got sick from drinking too much seawater.and started to vomit.

 

"Well indeed, mi'lady fair. Let us enjoy the night." He grabbed a mug filled with beer and lifted it, "A toast! To...enjoyable nights and drunken mornings." he smiled at her, and wished he could have at least one enjoyable night with such a woman.

Alistar understood the meaning of his toast and lifted his mug with his Captain, "Aye! Drunken mornings!"

 

Kate laughed as she raised glass, throwing her hair back "Agreed, let's make it unforgettable"

 

John saw a ship coming his way he recognized it as the ship of Sir Morgan and started to wave his arms in the making let go of his piece of wreckage and almost drown,luckily the sight of Morgan's ship made him sane agian and he grabbed back hold of his wreckage and waited for a life boat.

 

Dante took a long swig of his beer and emptied it. Slamming it on the bar his dark blue eyes sparkled, "Ah you must see the Sea Dragon. Aye, she's a beauty."

Alistar leaned against he bar, drunk already and toppled over, passing out on the floor.

Dante gave him a curious nudge with his foot, "Huh, well that's unfortunate." he laughed an tipped Kate's chin up toward him. Examining her face, "Truly a gem of the sea."

Sir Morgan spotted his friend, after surviving the passed storm he commanded them to send a boat. "Hurry now!" They rowed him back to the ship and Morgan pulled him to his feet, "Get this man dry clothes, food and water!" The crew hurried to obey.

 

Kate smiled in such a way, she hadn't done in quite a while, "Thank you and I would just love to. I just hope the boat is as fine as it's captain, if so then you have an unmatchable combination"

 

After he ate John told Morgan about the mysterious journal he found and also about how he went insane for a short time and making himself sick off of seawater.

 

Dante led her from the bar and out to the docks, the Sea Dragon anchored to the harbor. Her white sails tied tightly up and the red dragon at the helm as fearsome as it's Captain when angered. "Ah, the Sea Dragon. A lovely ship, almost as lovely as the creature I hold beside me." he looked over at Kate and led her aboard his ship.

Morgan sat silently until John had finished his tale. "You've had quite the adventure then John. Good to see you're alive still. We'll be heading back to England then." Morgan had no idea where the journal could've come from or who would've written it.

 

John was so glad to finally be on a ship that was bigger than the scrawny old thing the king gave him.He feared what the king would say when he found out John wrecked the ship he gave him.for the time being though he decided to go to bed.

 

Kate laughed in delight, but just before she entered the ship a man yelled up from the dock, "Hey Cutlass Kate, you're not abandoning us, are you?" Kate raised her eyebrow, slightly annoyed about being interupted, "Sorry" She apologised to Dante before turning and shouting back, "Oh relax Mark, do you have no faith in me? And what I choose to do in my free time is none of your buisness, so go carry on passing out in a gutter" She sighed and apologised once more to Dante, "So, where were we? You weren't kidding, it's a beautiful ship"

Name: Rei Michiyo
Age: 27

Bio: Rei is from Japan, and is the oldest of her siblings. Rei and her two brothers are from a lower-ranking samurai family, but were tired of foreign powers sailing in their country's waters. When a British ship was docked in a port near their home, Rei led her brothers to attack the ship at night, but were overpowered by the British soldiers onboard. They were taken prisoner for several years and during this time they learned how to speak English. Eventually the siblings had a plan to overtake and capture the ship, and their plan worked perfectly. They took no prisoners and took control of the ship, renaming it the Futsu Nushi no Kami. Rei is currently the captain.
Other: Though she is a pirate, Rei still holds the code of the samurai highly. She fights with honor and won't mercilessly kill anyone. She also has a soft side, usually shown only to her brothers.


Name: Akuro Michiyo
Age: 26

Bio: Akuro is the most serious of the siblings. He is more of a strategizer than a fighter, but is skilled in using his masamune. He's very protective of his brother and sister. Akuro doesn't talk much, but he and his siblings can communicate very easily.
Other: He is the Futsu Nushi no Kami's first mate.

Name: Tora Michiyo
Age: 23

Weapons: Throwing daggers, one wakizashi
Bio: Tora is the youngest of the siblings. He is the least serious of the family, and this is reflected by his choice in weaponry. He uses throwing knives in place of a gun, knowing they're more accurate. He tries to make situations lighthearted and takes stress away from his siblings. Tora is an excellent navigator and has guided the ship out of danger several times.
Other: Tora is the Futsu Nushi no Kami's second mate.

 

Dante grinned at the name Mark had called her, "So, your crew believes you to abandon them sometime soon. And what would prompt such mistrust upon the first mate and her crew?" The almost dreamy look disappeared from his eyes and they hardened. "Mistrust in a comrade is mistrust among others as well. But....I'm willing, for one night, to overlook a bit of mistrust."

Morgan aided John to an empty cabin and let him rest as he wandered around his deck, pondering the journal John spoke of.

 

"He was drunk and was joking, he saw me walking onto another ship, Mark's always the one who messes around. He's a hard worker but rarely serious. So relax, I practically run the ship with the amount of work the captain does or doesn't do as the case may be." She said, slightly put of by how quick he was to judge her. Although, despite what she said being true, she also knew she'd been restless recently and some of the crew were scared she'd leave them.

 

Dante nodded, pulling her aboard his ship and in the same movement, trapping her against the banister, "And what would a young lass like you do to run your own ship? Or perhaps serve under a Captain that knows what he is doing out at sea?"

The cabin boy stayed aboard and now watched Captain Leighton with the strange woman dressed like a pirate.

OOC: Sir Morgan and John were talking to Dante, intending to do buisness but he turned them down. JOhn is now on Morgan's ship after being shipwrecked and Dante and Kate are exploring his ship. Blade started a conversation with Mya.
