The High Seas

Have an urge for pirates. ARRRRGGGG XD

Plot- In the 1700s, the Americas are in demand for trade from Asia and Europe for a profit. This new company is the East British Indian Trade (EBIT). Not so actually. Even with the British fleet guarding this trade route, pirtates are strewn about the seas and are constantly harrassing the trade ships. And so the war rages between both.

Factions-

Pirates- What are they? GET OUT OF HERE (jk) They're the men and women floating around raiding every trade ship in sight and sinking the EBIT (ARRRRRG is optional) Yes both women and men are pirates.

EBIT- The East British Indian Trade. They are the company that pulls ships between the East and West. Unfortunatly, the pirates continue to harass them. They have half of the British army at their disposal.

Rules-
1. No godmodding (I will say so if you can)
2. Only 3 OCs to control
3. If you don't post within 3 days, I will assume you quit (unless you tell me)
4. Remember, this is the 1700s. NO AUTOMATIC WEAPONS (lol)
5. Keep cursing and romance at a PG-13 level.
6. If you read all of the rules, put down "Skulls and Crossbones" in your first post.

Bio: Her father was a famous pirate. After her father died, they kidnapped Mya to success her Father's work on being a pirate. For 10 years, she lived on the seas. Currently a captain on the Floating Cloud.

Bio: His family was a long history of being famous military commanders. One day, we wished so too. At the age of 18, he enrolled in the British Navy to protect ships back and forth. For 9 years, he fended off many pirates and was promoted eventually to commodore. Many pirates usually sail off at the sight of his boat.
Other: Very stern on his orders. Commodore of the British fleet.

Weapons: A thin sleek sword, a knife and a pistol (seldom used).
Bio: Anna was brought up on the sea and has known nothing else, she was put to work at a young age and has worked her way up the ranks from scrubbing floors to being a well respected member of the crew, being the resident first mate on the ship, Night Whisperer. Although, she has been restless recently and despite loving the ship, she wants to meet new people and jump ships.
Other: She is very determined and is more than meets the eye.

Bio: Fortune smiled on Dante Leighton, titled lord turned pirate. His parents had always lothed how he made his profit and now it's all he does. Abandoning his title of Marquis of Jacqobi in Merdraco (real place I swear) he sails now as the captain of the Sea Dragon, looking for something in the vast oceans before him. After his marriage to a young duchess he broke off their marriage to marry the sea. Always careful and planning his next move, he's not as gentle as he looks. Behind a dark blue as the bottom of the ocean eyes that may show love or kindness, he lothes the world.
Other: He's more than welcome to accept new mates as long as they don't harrass him about it.

Bio: Alistar has been Dante's first mate since he was a boy. Though he is younger than Dante he looks out for his captain. His opinon differs from his captain's often but he always agree's with the captain. Not many know that Alistar himself was once a noble and he strives to keep it that way.

Bio: A former member of a pirate crew who had disbanded. He was know for his skill in battle and used that to become an assassin. He is currently looking for a crew to join that he will enjoy
Other: He loves a good fight and is a pretty carefree at times

BIC: Mya sighed as she was twirling her empty cup. She was in a secret island owned by the pirates. To her opinion, she didn't like it. Pirates assumed that women should stay at home instead of doing dangerous stuff. Her crew didn't care which is why she liked them despite the fact the did kidnap her earlier on. The bar was roudy and loud full of pirates bragging on their spoils on their raids on trade ships. Mya never really had intrest for trade ships. She wanted something more valuable. More precious. The problem is that she doesn't know where to start. Man, I wish something awesome could happen. Too much dull so far. She filled her cup with beer and took a sip.

BIC: Kate grinned as she walked into the bar, she paused soaking up the atmosphere. As much as she loved her own ship, she savoured the chances like these she got to meet new people. She loved the change. She strode confidently through the crowd and asked the bar tender or a pint of beer. She could sense the suprised looks she was getting, unfortunatly here she lost her respect and was treated more like a little girl than a first mate. Although, she could also sense some eyes gravitating down her body from her face. That annoyed her, she was not an object to be used either and they would get a slap if they weren't careful.

bic: Dante relaxed in his chair. Dealing buisness with other pirates was tiring. He drained the last drops from his beer and scanned the bar. It was filling up recently with more and more pirates. Even some women pirates, not that he objected. Aye but only if they would be a little less self-concsious and a little more talkative. he thought mournfully as his own dark blue eyes roamed down the body of the recent woman to enter the bar. He was a man after all. Frowning, his eyes returned to her face. Sighing his first mate returned to the table, "Alistar, do you know any of these women?" He looked around and shrugged, "Been long time since we been at port, sir."

 

Kate recieved her beer and immediatly took a big gulp before looking round, her eyes resting to one man who was now looking at her face, though she was well aware where his eyes had already been. She raised a single eyebrow, well at least he'd discovered her face now. She bagan to look round spotting or a table, she spotted one unfortunatly behind the table of the man who'd been looking at her.

Bio: Once whilst on one of her voyages, her crew stumbled apon an ancient curse and were turned into monsters. Patty and her friend Seifer, however, were not affected by it. Seifer decided to give Patty a potion, so she could avoid the incident, but she then lost her memories and her body turned into one of a child. She can usually be pretty childish but is also very determined and serious when she needs to be.

John walked into the bar in disguise for he knew this island belonged to pirates but he needed to dock.He sat down at a table and ordered a beer.He recognized Dante Leighton the captain of the ship that caused major damage to his ship "The Prince William" last July.He had better be careful somebody might recognize him.He pulled his hat down farther to hide his face.

 

Dante turned his eyes from the woman and scanned the area. He sighed and stood up, "Come Mr. Marlowe, we should be gettin' along now. Not much to offer here."

Alistar looked at the woman Dante had noticed and saw her look she gave him. She didn't look happy to see Captain Leighton looking at her, "Sir, maybe ya could wait just a little bit longer?" Dante started for the door and he jumped in front of him, "Ah, Cap'n, the crew hasn't been on land long, just a while longer before we set out again. The crew's beggin' ye."

Dante ran a hand through his dark brown hair and laid a hand on Alistar's shoulder, "Alistar, I've never refused a request from my crew. I suppose a while longer couldn't hurt." His dark eyes skimmed over the face of the woman he'd noticed before tapping his finger on the bar to get the bartender's attention, "Another round for everyone here, on behalf of my good mate Mr. Marlowe."
