So, as I browse through the Help with Life section, I mostly see family related issues and relationship stuff. Which is good, that's where that belongs. So, I thought we should get a thread in the broad spectrum and have it narrowed down if this holds.

Basically, the title says it all. This is a thread about how to take care of yourself, ask any personal health questions, get dietary tips, exercise tips, etc. I'm not saying I have all the answers to these questions, but if they do get presented, we don't need a thread popping up for every single occasion.

So, KHV, let's try and help others with their outside lives in the matter of physical health, shall we? Gogogo!

Depending on the brand, they actually can be pretty good. I have one that tastes like chocolate milk.

But you don't have to generalize that this is only a "build muscle" guide. 'Tis also an area where you can ask any question regarding physical health. Then someone can come and help them!

    I love you Darky

Running = good for you. If you run 30 minutes a day this is very healthy. Also sports are good for you. Eating McDonalds is not. Although it is godly.

I'm going to correctly assume most of you are in grade school, so try this:

You can do resistance training just by climbing up and down the stairs with a loaded backpack. Vary the weight just by swapping out your textbooks. This helps especially if your school lets you walk around with your bag rather than stuffing it in your locker. Mine did, and I built most of my upper arm strength just by carrying around a loaded bag.

I'm actually in college. You find that you walk more in college. And it makes you feel so much better than just laying around. You'd be surprised at how much better you feel if you just do a little bit every day.

If you have the time, work out for 45 minutes every other day, or extended periods (like an 1:30) on the weekend.

I ride my bike and/ or roller skate everyday. In all I skate about a mile and I bike about 2, so if I have extra energy someday then I'll do both

Guys, I don't need health advice. I work out 3 times a week and diet. I'm actually fairly healthy. I made this in case someone has some health related problems that they would like to discuss and possibly have helped or answered.

Oh, oops. I hope my post didn't come off like that...I was just tossing it out there that this was something I started doing in high school and found out that it really worked for me. I just can't do the "run 6 miles three times a week" thing.

I work out every other day, and I don't overindulge. I can say I'm pretty healthy.
