The Half-Gods

"no im fine." he held his hand over his chest. a strange scaly,red metallic plate appeared over it "that should protect it." he extended his hand "help me up?"

 

Leah smiled as she walked over and offered a hand to him, "Sure. We should really be thanking you though. We were in trouble before you turned up. How did you find us anyway?"

 

"Where those 'Things' after you too?" He asked, tieing the scarf back around his empty socket.

 

Nox paided for anouther drink. He waited quietly for the bartender to make it. He stared at the bubbles as they floated up and made foam at the top of his glass.

 

He took her hand and got up "i followed those strange things, its by chance i found 2 more like me"

"no sorry i was more after them actually those things ,whatever they are, seem to prey on creatures who are weaker then them no offense."

 

Leah rolled her eyes but smiled, "Your no exactly invincible either. But anyway, what are they and for that matter, what are we? I don't think we're exactly your average teen and how the hell did those things find us?"

 

"heh" he looked down "so true. those things are murew , godslayers so to speak, i read about them but the gods tamed them. we are half gods and the higher gods are threatened by us. each of us have 1 parent who is a god. we are going to be killed by them if we are weak enough to be killed by them."

 

" so basically, it's kill or be killed"He frowned, walking over. He was now a little taller than before.

 

"i wish it were that simple, there are more murew then there ever will be gods. and unlike gods they only need a short time to produce another battle ready one gods need at least a decade to produce a god who can fight. its like fighting a limitless army if we run and we couldnt kill one let alone thousands and growing. i mean im not giving up its just if we are going to do this either way we are gonna need help."

 

OOC: They are more powerful than Murews when they realise their full powers

Leah lisened intently a bit overwelmed by what she was being told, "Half god? Dad has an awful lot to answer for" She muttered to herself before looking up at Demetrio "What kind of help? There's got to be a way to defeat those things"

 

Takou nodded. "Yeah, we're gonna need a million of us just to try and kill the first wave."

 

"Simple you could shoot, burn it, their mortal after all it wouldn't take to much," a voice said from the end of the werehouse. It was Alphonce he stood walked tords the three in this black silk suit. His red eyes sizing them up. Looking for easy ways to kill them if they try to harm him, "Your only option is to take the fights to the gods themselves."

 

"You try shooting through something whose skin is rock hard, scalpels can't cut it, falling masonry doesn't leave a scratch and sharp iron railings don't even leave a mark at all!" he frowned.

 

Alphonce just smiled at the poor boy. He walked closer to the three eyeing them up. He wondered how long it would take them to figer out he was a Murew.

 

"hello murew..." Demetrio noticed the eyes almost instantly "so you are not feral like the others? that is strange...." he saw the murew's eyes darting about "if you want to know the fastest way of killing us is bringing down the warehouse by attacking the support beam, but since you havent done that i suppose that you dont want us dead.... at least not yet."

 

Leah rolled her eyes at Demetrio before slowly backing away from the Murew, "Fight our parents? Wouldn't they want to help us? And anyway they are gods, we are only half-gods apparently, guess which is more powerful?"

 

'have you already loss hope? If your parnets loved you why would they send the merews to kill you. If they weren't afraid of you why bother?' Alphonce smiled, 'You have more power than you realize. I want to see you unlock it.'

 

Leah looked suspiciously at him, not trusting him, "I've not lost hope, I just think there must be a better way than fighting gods. I get your logic but I find it hard to believe our parents are the ones who sent them to try to kill us"

 

Takou shook his head. "Nah, I see his points, but I see this more as a test than a murder spree"

 

Alphonce chuckled, "really?"
He pulled a list out from inside is coat, "I have orders from Sithos god of darkness to kill his own children. Would you like to hear the names."
