The gang of Intergalactic Ninja Vampire Space Pirates (A.k.a The I.N.V.S.P.)

Aw, well, unless Glen's been holding out on us all these years and is secretly an artist, then that idea is fun, but not really doable. XD

Let's see, we could just draw a one-page poster of all of us hanging out and being awesome in space-pirate-vampire garb and doing ninja poses. XD I think I might be able to scrape that much artistic talent together if I try really hard. XD It still won't be good, but hey, we're just trying to have fun with this and celebrate five years of our Family Thread, so it's good enough. :)

 

Okay then would writing be a better idea? We all write a bit in here so if we work together, we could probably make a good short story about one of our adventures. Then if we have an aspiring artist in our mix, they could illustrate it if they wanted. Or someone could do a dramatic reading of it afterwards.

 

Oh my gosh, Midnight, you're a genius! That is an excellent idea! We could work together to write an awesome space-epic one-shot! :D

 

We could do a graphic snake like the one that was on here a few years ago. Like, one person draws something, and then the next person draws something that connects to it, and then the next person etc. If not, the writing thing sounds good.

 

How about we do both? We'll write the story, and put the completed Graphic-snake along with it as like, cover art or something. XD

If we did the writing thing, I'd like us to work together on the plot but also I'd like to get everyone's descriptions of themselves or at least what key features are most notable and would be emphasised in the story. Bare in mind that this is how you see yourself on this ship so can be as close or as far away to your actual appearance as you like. So these could be like clothes, hair style and colour, skin colour (you can be green if you want), height, voice, any quirks, ect.
Like for me I'd want it to be included that I'm really really short.

Also I think if people want to do art type things, they should try to illustate the story.

Also, if anyone wants me to draw what they looks like, my art skills are passable. I did a thing a little while ago where I drew all my friends as comic characters. That was fun. Could totally do that here.

 

I really like asking people to draw what they imagine me to look like without me providing them with any description or photos of me. Just finding out what people imagine me to look like is really fun. However what you said is a good idea and if it's for the story I should probably provide you with a description first.

 

Yes, please do that. Otherwise, I'll draw you as Steph Brown in a nurse hat. My art skills are passable, but my imagination, she lacks.

That's an awesome idea! Alright, pirates, we have a plan! I'll draw a doodle of myself sometime as I'd like to be portrayed in the story, and try to post it later today or tomorrow. :)

As for illustrations, what if we all each do one or two illustrations, in whatever art style we choose? We can get a basic plotline going for it, and then while we write it out more fully, we can claim different scenes we think we would have fun drawing, and each be responsible for that one. :) And then for the cover, we'll do the Graphic-Snake. :)

And Midnight, I'll totally draw the concept I have of you along with me, just so you can see it. XD

When I imagine people, if I don't know what they look like, it's normally their avatar plus something personality-like. The problem with that is of course when people change their avatar.

 

Alas, I am most definitely not a tiny dark-skinned, pink-haired 14-year-old.

 

That's okay! Just draw/describe what you feel like, and that's how we'll put you in the story! :)

I am going to take artistic license on that one and give it a pirate bandanna and saber if no one stops me.

 

I was planning on giving a more genuine reference afterwards, but now I'm very tempted to just let you.

If people want to leave it up to me I could probably come up with some sort of descriptions of how I imagine people but I wanted to ask so that I didn't offend anyone. Also I have no idea how I picture you now as it feels like you're quite different to my image of you years ago.
