So ummm... Are the Awards dead now?

 

Yeah, pretty much. Sorry guys. But I think we'll try again next year. We'll do "The Second Attempt at the First Annual Pirate of the Year Awards: BETTERFIED" next year. XD I think we should also plan it around a different time of year, when things are a little slower, instead of having it around the same time as the actual KHV awards. Since the judges this time didn't get a chance to judge anything, I'll hold them over to take over their original slots next time, if they still want them. And at that time, we can invite Jayn and Llave to have heir guest judge slots as well. So, let's not look at this like a failure, but as a practice attempt from which we learnt many things. IN THE MEANTIME, does anybody want to try and do something special for the holidays? Do you all have mic capabilities? We could write an INVSP happy holidays song, and then reveal it in the spam zone as a Christmas present to the forums. Or, if that's just not gonna work this year, we could just have a standard GIF party here in the family thread.

 

I think my brother has a webcam/mic thing on his laptop, but I don't think we have any recording software. We have Skype though...

 

Ah. And I, lol, don't think I ever got around to making a Skype. And now that I think about it, I have no way to record any music other than vocals. P'rhaps a song would be better left for another time.

 

Hmmmm... The music shouldn't be too much of an issue (just find an instrumental online, or I could play it [years of piano experience]). But the coordinating, making sure everyone has the right timing and whatnot... Yeah, maybe next year.

lol, while I believe you, let me just say that I've been able to put up with awful singing from the most tone-deaf of singers. I consider it an opportunity to put into practice the teachings of peace, patience, and plenty of self-control. XD

Wonder Trade: A method of trading Pokemon wherein you send in a Pokemon, get matched with someone who is also Wonder Trading and get a random Pokemon back.

IV: Individual Valuals. Basically how "good" your Pokemon is. A POkemon with higher IVs will be stronger than a Pokemon with low IVs.

Nature: Affects your Pokemon's IVs.
