Explain one reason why Sora and Riku should be in this game over Cloud, Sephiroth, or DANTE?! I mean, these characters are more well-known and people would most likely have higher demand over them than the two everybody mentions. The thought of KH in SSB is rather disgraceful in my opinion. Don't think I think your opinion doesn't matter, because I respect it. The thing is though that it's illogical. I'm sure they would put many more characters into the game before putting in Sora and Riku.

Back on topic...I think that Nintendo did a favor to Sonic because this has been the best game he's been in since Sonic Adventures 2. Snake was an awesome addition and the fact that they got him approved made my friends jump and yell and piss and all that good stuff...lol

*sigh* i know. but it's nice to dream. ^^

i do agree with cloud. most people know final fantasy and even if they have't played it, it's a face they know. just like i never played pit's game 'cause it's so old, but i've seen him. (my dad >.<) i think cloud would be a nice addition. maybe yuna and rikku too since the game needs more girls.

Actually, Solid Snake and Sonic do have something to do with Nintendo. Sonic has been in sega, but the Sega became part of nintendo; I think. Solid snake has been with nintendo for years. He's been in game boy games, game boy color, and in gamecube; MGS: Twin snakes. As for the levels, they don't suck. I admit, the electroplankton is an annoying stage, but other than that one....the game is good. Final destination is pretty cool, Pirate ship is nice, and besides...you can play in melee stages too. Then again, this is my opinion. :/

    1) Hate to spoil things, but I can't see a KH future in the SS series

    2) So what if Snake and Sonic aren't "part" of nintendo...

They're close enough to be considered clones.

    One reason.
They never STARED in any nintendo game. While Sora/Riku have.

Besides Cloud has his own 'Collection of charecters that kill each other game' to star in.

Final Fantasy Dissidia. Basicly Brawl but for Final Fantasy, tho Cloud hasent been confirmed to my knowlage, but for them to not include cloud in that game would be pretty stupid agree no?

I have to agree that Brawl was fun to play but not as good as all of the hype. Then again, seldom does a game ever live up to the hype it is given and I'm not that big of a Nintendo character fan anyway. Snake and Sonic were the only reasons I played it really other than Link and Zelda along with a couple others as I have a strong aversion to 90% of Nintendo characters probably because of all of the furry fan art and fan fic I have had to see. I know I'm in the minority though and am not going to diss the game because it was fun but just not as cool as I had hoped.

Yes Falco spins around, and kicks his reflector but it isn't much in the larger scheme of things in terms of the Fox and Captain Falcon prototype.

he should still get it, two characters were added, its not something to be worried about

and, i think , this game is good, and has more options than melee(duh)

the stages are good, if you dont like them ,play melee stages or you can build your own

so, i think he should get it

Excuse me, but Sora and Riku started on the PS2, not a Nintendo game. Yes, I forgot about Dissida, and Cloud not in it would be rather redundant since he is most likely the famous character out of the series. Yes, I know that another game is coming out for the DS, but wouldn't you rather see a character more well-known that Sora and Riku? They seem okay to put it, I guess, but if it's from Square, put in Crono from Crono Trigger or somebody else. Would you see Sora or somebody else from Square? Just asking.

The criteria for potentially being a character in a Super Smash Bros game is that you have to have starred in a game on a Nintendo platform. Cloud, Sephiroth, nor Dante have ever starred in games on Nintendo platforms, and thus would not be able to be in Super Smash Bros.

If a Square-Enix character were to ever be in a Super Smash Bros game, it would not be Sora or any Kingdom Hearts character. It would be Geno, from Super Mario RPG, Chrono from Chrono Trigger, or any of the main characters from Final Fantasy I - VI, or the Crystal Chronicles series.

There is no reason to not get this game, it's easily the best in the series and the best game released for the Wii right now, nothing about the first post of this thread should discourage you from buying one of the best multiplayer games there is. The first post of this thread is nothing more than someones opinion.

Okay...I said, and so did antiweapon, that Riku and Sora STARED on a nintendo game, chain of memories. For the game boy. We did not say started. STARED, the main characters.

I'm guessing you're saying starred in a Nintendo game, which would make more sense and which would, yes, make my opinion pointless. But if you keep saying stared, it sounds like they look at a Nintendo game rather than starring in one. Still, I'm sure Square would want to put in characters from Chrono Trigger or others from the Final Fantasy series before 7.
