No Thanks The Forum Events/Holidays section.

It is found in - or rather there is a link to it - from both the Sub-forum areas of General Discussion and the Discussion section itself. And indeed we are all aware that General Discussion is a sub-forum of Discussion.

This appears slightly redundant to myself; perhaps we may get rid of one of the links and leave the section on either the sub-forum area for the Discussion section or in the General Discussion section?

Rather unsure if this ties in with the "Discussion revamp" that is an approved suggestion in the respective thread. If so, a staff member may certainly feel free to lock this thread.

Anyways, um...
I would consider your idea useful, due to the fact that the whole idea of the discussion section is to use more intelligence than randomness....in most cases pure intelligence.
But, since there is a "Post Your Picture" series of threads going on, I think the holiday section is also a good option to have a larger amount of fun in an area other than the Spamzone, Role-Playing Section, Families and Clubs etc. etc.

 

We've been tossing around some thoughts on this for a while and pretty much, this will be resolved soon, as will some other things concerning the Discussion area and the Spam Zone. Once I'm finished ruining the forums with what I have in mind, feel free to comment then. Consider this is in the works though.
