I was surfing around on youtube yesterday and found a bunch of reely good anime shows that have been forgotten by most people. Either because they're old or got cancelled by big production companies *cough*cartoon network cancelling toonami*cough**cough*
    Anyway here they are:
    1. Yu yu hakusho
    2. Card Captors
    3. Rave master
    4. Zoids
    5. Tenchi Muyo
    7. Trigun
    8. Ronin Warriors
These are just a few I found, let me know if you remember any others. Or if I missed any of your favorites.
Man these sure do bring up memories though...

One nobody seems to remember much is Cyborg 009. The manga itself was quite the spectacle in its age, since it was made at a time when racism and stereotyping countries/people of ethnic backgrounds was as common as grass. The anime was on Toonami for a time, then it was dropped.

I actually made a cosplayer's day last weekend at a con, when he was dressed as a character from the anime and was floored that I not only knew the anime, but the character's name as well.

And I remember Tenchi Muyo! I have 6 volumes on DVD I got for cheap of Tenchi Universe that I have yet to watch.

And don't forget Rurouni Kenshin and Gundam Wing. Such a shame too. These were the shows back in the day. And Card Captor Sakura was and still continues to be my favorite anime. I try to talk to people about these animes and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Not because they don't about anime because they do, it's just either they never got to see them or it's just too old school for them and they're just not interested. -_-

Yea I know what you mean. Yu yu hakusho is like my 2nd favorite anime of all time and no one remembers it cuz it was aired in like 02. Card Captor Sakura was another good one as well. I used to watch it a lot as a kid but forgot it existed until I rediscovered it yesterday. The only thing I nvr realised about it was that 40 episodes were edited out when they made the english dub. The japanese version has 70ish episodes and the english dub has around 40. It makes me wonder why they edited it so heavily...

So do I. =/ Maybe they thought it was too many episodes or something? I'll have to look it up. And even though it's my favorite, I have to say they butchered the english version with the voice acting and name changing. Though it would be awesome if they brought back all these animes. You know, like a blast from the past marathon or something. XD

Yea they reely did butcher the voice acting and names lol. Sakura's voice is rediculously deep for a fourth grader, and her name is pronounced "sock ura" not sakura like in naruto. You're right tho, it would be reely sweet if they brought back some old animes for awhile, but the only problem is practically no TV stations play anime shows anymore evr since cartoon network killed toonami...

Sailor Moon will always be my favorite anime. I remember watching it every morning before going to school.

honestely i'm not rly sure... I think it had something to do with money, or some other shows bought out the time slots. Or maybe it was cuz there weren't enough viewers. Either way I was reely sad when it ended. Toonami was part of my childhood, I watched it since I was like 7...

Yea me neither.. Cartoon Network reely went down hill. They tried a bunch of new cartoons and even some reality shows but they all failed miserably... I guess CN will never be what it once was :/

I am so tempted to get as many people as I can and start a petition to bring these good shows back.

I know nothing of starting petitions. XD That would have to be something carefully and thoroughly planned.
