This game has gotten mixed reviews.

Honestly, is it any good? Worth a buy?

Like he said, you should rent it. This is game is really easy to complete in a day if you play a lot, or a few days if you don't. And if you have the cheats activated you'll literally blast your way through - and it won't take long. It's awesome enough to rent, too quick to buy.
Once you've played the game once, you've seen the whole story and it'll probably get repetitive if you play again. I played it through almost twice, my bro a few times, but we probably won't play again for a while. There's some really drawn out levels once you replay so it can get boring overtime.
But it's DEFINITELY worth hiring!! It's awesome fun to use all the force powers in some great Star Wars worlds. The gameplay's enjoyable, because there's so many ways to deal with enemies, and the story is excellent too. If you like Star Wars, then you'll find the story interesting because it bridges the last of the new movies and first of the old Star Wars movies, with exciting ideas you wouldn't expect.
So, many people are really enjoying this game for a while, and if you hire it you'll have time to have a lot of fun complete it and not need to buy it unless you're a Star Wars fan or just loved the game.

For people who've played, one thing that annoyed me was the choice at the final battle. Spoiler: I chose to battle Darth Vader, without realising the Emperor was there to battle as well. So I ended up with this really dissappointing Sith ending... I thought wtf that doesn't make sense and couldn't have happened, but my bro told me there was a different ending - the Jedi one. So now I'm gonna choose Emperor when I get to that choice again. I wonder if it's only me who wouldn't realise something like that?

    here's the code:
    GRANDMOFF
    ________________
it unlocks all costumes but some cancel cutscenes
(playing as the Emporer is almost as good as if you could play as Xemnas)

Don't buy this game, rent it. It's fun, you'll love it. But you'll only play through it twice and you can beat it 3 times in 10 hours.

By playing the beta, LBP isn't a game I can see myself playing non-stop. I see it as a game I pick up often and play in short burst throughout a long space of time. I will probably play a few good user created levels and play with fellow PSN friends. Possiblities are endless, but playing it too much could probably spoil your enjoyment. That's what happened to me and Loco Roco.

As for this years line up...too many damn good games. LBP, Fable 2, Gears 2, Resisitance 2, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, PoP, Last Remnant...ARRGGHH. I will probably pick up Fable 2 next week some how, and might have to end up waiting until Christmas for most of the rest.

hey.....i just got a PS3 that was loaded with playable demos from the previous owner and i found a demo of this game. and i have to say.....I LIKE. however, i was just wondering something. i found that there's ALOT of versions of this game on alot of game systems. but the ones i were particularly interested in were the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii versions. i played the PS3 demo and it was great but when i heard about the version on the Wii i was wondering if it is as good. because this kind of game looks like it would be good on the Wii so has anyone played the Wii version? if so, can you tell me if it's good (or if you can, compare it to PS3 version pleaes).

    any help is appreciated

Hey guys, I FINALLY managed to get this game.:)

It had been sold out for awhile whenever I went to look for it...

But now I finally have it!

Now I'll tell you what I think of this game...

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

    IT'S FREAKIN AWESOME!

The ONLY downside I found to it was that you don't get to actually "Play" as the other characters and get their own unique abilities...it's just a costume change...

    But aside from that...

    THIS GAME IS FREAKIN EPIC!!!

Got it for the PS3. Honestly...you can't deny that this game makes you feel awesome. Badass combos, force powers are epic, you take down a star destroyer...
BUT...the game is a bit repatitve(sp?). Not much to replay it for(the PS3 and 360 versions are basically the same...the other versions are VERY different and have more replay value which is pretty stupid considering the PS3 and 360 should have the best of everything!)...
The Euphoria system wasn't very good. Stormtroopers dodge and cling onto things. That's all it really is. They don't die from falling large distances, experience actual injuries, or climb back onto something when they're hanging off an edge.
The DMM was pretty good but...in a little tech demo thingy/preview, the developers said that when a storm trooper was hanging on for their life. They would either fall to their death or the object would bend or break from having them hang on for too long. Neither happens. They fall slowly back to ground level, take a LITTLE damage and get up with nearly the same animation every time.

    I rarely EVER pushed someone THROUGH something other than a window. That ruined my force push fun...>>;
