Xepphiras woke up after a long deep sleep not entirely sure what she should do now. She got out of bed and put her dirty old clothing back on. She was hoping Ananta would offer her new ones or be around for her to ask but it didn't seem like it now. Once dressed she started to wander the halls of the hospital like building she was in. She didn't get too far before noticing a small group of people but not too far behind them a man that she knew R thought highly of. Xepphiras cautiously approached him. "Um... excuse me. Er... G-Gexln." She struggled to remember his name. "Do you think you could help me with my fighting and dark magic before we go into the next part of the war?" She asked slightly timidly. She wanted to be stronger, she just didn't know how to on her own. "I have seen you fight, you are really good!" She then blurted out. Hopefully boosting his ego would help convince him.
Karina didn't hug Eon back nor did she even look up at him. "You don't understand, neither of you do... My soul it was at last at peace. I could rest and be happy. You can say you will protect me but that doesn't stop fear and sadness from creeping into my heart. It taxes me everyday. I was rarely truly happy. You were never able to see my true feelings where you. I would hide them but I was always scared. Don't you get it? I don't want to be here. I will stay and help for the war, for your guys's sakes and the sake of my children, but after that there is no guarantees what will happen. There is nothing you can do about it." Karina finished as her attention was caught by Ananta walking away. But Karina passed it off as nothing as Ananta would run off from time to time.

Eric's face remained calm and smug as Ananta came up to threaten him. "I would never do anything that would be considered dark. I simply came here to find my family, that is it. Now that I found them I am happy. I don't know what you think I am up to but my family is everything to me." This was all true, everything Eric was saying but in a different manner then implied. Once Ananta let go of him he straightened his shirt and continued his walk around town like it was nothing. The little thing with Ananta didn't bother him whatsoever. It wouldn't compromise her goals.

Gexln turned to look at Xepphiras. She was asking for his help? Why him when she was so close with R? He got his answer when she complimented him. He liked it when people noticed how strong he was, how much he had improved. Every day he trained to become strong enough to protect the things that mattered, to fight off those who challenged him. The Nobody liked people recognizing that, in fact -

"HA! You forget who you're talking to! If you want somebody to help you, don't lie to them!" he called out as he pushed Xepphiras into a dark corridor and sealed it. That being done, Gexln relaxed and leaned against the wall casually, taking a good rest to plan what the next move was.

After a few minutes, Gexln decided that he should probably help Xepphiras. She was, as much as he didn't want to admit it, needed along with the rest of them if they were to defeat the Agents. Opening the dark corridor once more, he reached over and pulled Xepphiras back through, before closing the corridor once again. He sighed. "Fine, I'll teach you. Why me? Why not R?" he asked, somewhat suspiciously. Regardless of his fighting technique, the fact was he and Xepphiras barely talked, and R was just as good at fighting if not better than he was.

Xero thought for a moment and then decided that she would go and help R with whatever he was doing. She walked out of the building she was in and headed toward the library. Soon enough she found R looking through piles of books for something. Xero raised an eye brow at the scene and walked over, "What's got you into reading..." She picked up a book and read the title. Her face had the weirdest look afterwards, "Fifty Shades of Darkness...?" Her eyes looked at R with a rather demeaning look and slowly set the book down while still staring at R and pretending she hadn't seen the book, "We're in the middle of a war and you're sitting here reading erotic novels... R! What the hell?!"

Kross finally gathered his courage and exited the break room, going down the hall where he heard talking going on. He could see Karina storming across his line of vision, so he was being the wise guy and went the opposite way, only glancing back before he reached the others, jerking his thumb behind him."What's eating her this time?"He asked anyone present.

Xepphiras knew that Gexln wasn't always the nicest person but she did not expect him to do what he did. At first it seemed like he enjoyed the praise she gave him, and though she was doing it to get him to help her, she believed what she said. Gexln was a good fighter and she believed that he could really help her. But it seemed that Gexln found that suspicious and next thing she knew she was in a dark open space. "Finally someone is here! help me! I don't want to be here!" A bubbly girl called to Xepphiras, the same one Gexln sent there earlier. "I am sorry I don't know where I am or how to get out of here." Xepphiras told Yuffie. "I just wanted him to help me be stronger..." She said as she sat down. "Tell me about it. I was trying to be friendly but nothing could get through that thick skull unless it is that black haired girl cause they are in loooveeeee." Yuffie told Xepphiras as she sat next to her. "Anyways I am Yuffie!" She said eagerly. "Oh uh, Xepphiras..." Xepphiras responded not overly interested in conversation. "Oh! You are the one that Cid knew a long time ago. Good to see you are okay sorta. Once we get out of here I am sure he would want to see you!" "Well I don't care to see him, that life is behind me." Xepphiras stood up to walk away and get away from the hyper active girl.

Xepphiras only got a few steps away before she was tugged back through a dark corridor by Gexln. He started asking her why she chose him, seeming not impressed by her choice.
"Well I knew R was doing some research and I wouldn't be much help there... so I thought I might train for the battle, learn new techniques, and when I saw you just sitting here, well.... I thought you might have time to help me. I mean I know R is busy and all with his research, and I didn't want to pull him away from that and I meant what I said when I said I saw you fight and you where good. So please, please help me. I want to show R, I want to show everyone that I can be strong, but it is hard when I know so little about dark magic. There hasn't really been much time to learn. I barely even know how to use this thing." Xepphiras summoned her keyblade at the end of her rambling. "If you don't want to, sorry for bothering you." She hung her head realizing how much she was rambling and how annoying it must be.

As Xero entered the room, he didn't pay her much mind. That was, until she picked up one of the books he had gotten down. That particular one he had gotten based on the title. 50 shades of darkness, it seemed like it entailed the different aspects of darkness, one of which might be the dark half of the X-blade they needed. However, the reaction Xero had to it told a very different tale. "We're in the middle of a war and you're sitting here reading erotic novels... R! What the hell?!" She scolded. At this accusation, he slowly raised his head from the book he had been reading, and looked at Xero, as though the words had simply staggered his thought process to a total halt. "I always thought the sage who ruled this world was an...odd character...I didn't know she had such strange tastes...The erotic nature of Ananta's reading material aside, i'm doing research into the creation of the X-blade. As the brother to kingdom hearts, If we can obtain the genuine article, we may be able to win against the agents." He said, picking up the current book he was reading and showing it to her. It was a legend detailing it's origin. "As much as i hate to say it...Xindai would have been useful. He was the only one who was there when the X-blade was broken, and more than one object of great power were his own creations. He might have had some idea as to how to reforge it."

Gexln sat down now, slumped against the wall as Xepphiras began her rambling. As she spoke, he barely listened. He heard her explanation of why she had asked him and not R, and other than that he knew that she wanted him to help her learn to fight better. He closed his eyes as he tried to think of ways to teach her, very few things coming to mind. The Nobody considered sending her back into the dark corridor, rather than figuring out a way, but that wouldn't get anything done. A sigh escaped his lips, followed by "Fine, I'll teach you".

After a few moments of thinking, the Nobody of the Dark still hadn't come up with anything. This was turning out to be much more difficult than he had thought. "If you had to pick one thing that you're worst at in a fight, would you say it is?" he asked, trying to come up with something.

Xepphiras could tell that Gexln wasn't really interested as she was talking. She turned to walk away when she heard him say something. What he actually agreeing to help her? She turned back around as he asked what she needed to work on most. She wanted to tell him everything, but knowing him he wouldn't like that answer. And she barely knew him but she knew him enough to tell it wasn't a reply he would want. "Well, lets see...." She tried to think. "I don't know how to use this that well..." She said holding up her keyblade. "But what I would really want to know and work on is how to use dark magic... I mean I used to be a thief and know a few things with that but R started teaching me dark magic before I became a nobody so I was thinking I would continue to use that instead... or as well as... I don't know. I am sorry, I am frazzled right now. I don't know what to tell you." Xepphiras slumped down against the wall slowly brushing her bangs aside and rubbing her left eye. She didn't know what she was doing or how to fight but she had to try and learn.

Xero looked at the book R was reading as he showed her. She rose an eye brow at it then looked at R, "Well, remember those guys we fought back in Radient Guarden? They came here looking for Gexln saying that they want to help us defeat Omega. They also said something about wanting to help spread the word to other worlds about helping."

Gexln thought about what Xepphiras said. She had shown her underconfidence with the keyblade, something he would know how to help her improve on fairly easily, but had made it fairly clear that she was more worried about her control over dark magic than anything. That wouldn't be so easy to teach, even if he knew exactly what it felt like. He hadn't always had good control over his darkness, in fact when he had first become a Nobody there had been several times he had gone into his anti form but been unable to revert, darkness having its hold over him.

Which brought up another point. He couldn't remember a moment he'd ever seen Xepphiras actually smile. True, he didn't know her that well, but not even once. The closest she seemed to come was with R, but away from him she had a look that made it seem like she was very much a glass half empty kind of person, what if those negative emotions got the better of her, the same way they had himself? That could be an issue. He stood up now and stepped in front of the girl, about a metre away from her. "If you wanna learn about darkness, you're going to need to contain that depressive nature of yours. You always seem to be upset in some form of another, from what I've seen you've got a little trouble seeing the bright side of things. I can't teach you how to do that, seeing as how i'm not that great at it myself, but i'm just giving you a heads up. As for the magical side of things, well.." he said, pausing to think of how to proceed, "hold out your hand flat, then curl your fingers in like you're grabbing a baseball or something and visualise the firaga itself to start with" he instructed, doing his best to explain things.

Xapphiras was slightly annoyed that the first thing Gexln decided to teach her was dark firaga. That was the one thing R had already taught her, but she decided a refresher could never hurt. He also spoke of her depressive nature but at the time she didn't care too much, she didn't know what she could do about it so decided not to worry about it for the time being. Xepphiras didn't have much experience in just holding a dark firaga, generally as soon as she made it she would fire it off, perhaps this is how she would learn to control the darkness better, if she could have full control over just this one thing then it could only get better right?

The first few times Xepphiras tried she make the dark fire ball but it flickered out in moments when she did not release it. This happened several times in a row and Xepphiras began to get frustrated.
"Ugh I can't do it!" She yelled out. As she did a large amount of dark flames appeared in her hand, a lot more then she wanted to appear. This startled her causing her to drop it as she let out a scream jumped back bumping into Gexln. Looking down a the floor there was a decent size hole in front of her with a few small black flames lingering on the edge. "... Opps..." She said cringing slightly. She then remembered what Gexln said about not having a negative attitude. "Hehe... at least it remained. I can do it!" She said trying to be positive as she took a step away from Gexln and around the hole in the ground. Xepphiras tried once more this time thinking more positively telling herself that she could do it, and that it wasn't a big deal. As such she was able to accomplish her goal and looked at Gexln with a small smile feeling quite accomplished. "Hey look... I did it. What do you want me to do now?" She asked him. Her voice almost sounded kind for once, not nervous and quiet. Just a normal voice, not a way she talked very often.

"This isn't my library. It's a public library, you two." she said, walking from behind a shelf. "I assume you haven't found much, R?" she asked, sipping the water bottle in her hand. She sat it down on the table in front of R and crossed her arms. "We do have one section that only personnel can go in to." she mentioned, reading a book R had on the table. She closed it and walked to a shelf, placing it on the shelf after making sure this was the correct section for it. "Of course, it's only written in a language that the Seven Sages can read in the first place. So you'd need me any way." she smiled to them. Reaching into her sleeve, she produced a key that seemed very old. "And this is all we need to get inside. Come with me." she lead the two to a room far in the back of the library. It had no doorknob. In fact, there wasn't even a door to be seen. Just a panel with buttons and a keyhole. Ananta took the key and placed it in the keyhole, turning it clockwise and then counterclockwise before pressing the buttons in a certain order. The silhouette of a door appeared around the panel and expanded to form a hole in the wall. Ananta allowed R and Xero to step inside before she followed them. Inside, the air felt stale and had an odd smell to it. The walls were shelves, lined with books that looked rather old themselves. Perhaps even older than the key Ananta used to even get into this room.

"Pick books from any shelf. I'll tell you that these shelves." she pointed to the leftmost side on the east wall. "Have the oldest books. They have many pictures in them, seeing as they were all handwritten by Anta centuries ago. And no, not my son. Our first leader was named Anta. Although, some of these are just history books from Crystallis even before it was made anew..." she said, sitting down at a table. "I'll wait for you to pick books." she smiled.

R looked to Ananta as she stepped in. He nodded, indicating that she was correct in assuming his lack of findings. "Why didn't you mention this before?" He questioned the sage as she lead them to the secret section of the library. Indeed it was an impressive sight. Stacks of books, as well as massive shelves. They were all written in the same language. R picked up a book indiscriminately and opened it to a random page. Darkness spouted from his hand and covered the book whole before sinking into the pages and draining into the letters. Mere moments later, that darkness came back out and crawled its way back into its master. "You needn't worry about translation anymore. As far as i am concerned, these books are all written in the dark language." Said the heartless. He essentially leeched the knowledge of the characters from the book and transferred it over into the language of the dark beings. If such a language existed that this couldn't be done to, R hadn't encountered it. He closed the book in his hand and carefully placed it back on the shelf before browsing through other titles.

There were several relating to the keyblade war, the origin of the keyblade and darkness, and a book on the agents. Most of these looked as though they pre-dated the world itself. He looked through them, but none of them seemed to house anything useful. R wracked his mind trying to think of something they could do. Mind...Perhaps there lied the answer. There was one who knew more about the X-blade than anyone ever did. He was even mentioned in some of the books he'd just read. The creator of darkness that had been sealed away by the wielders. If they couldn't get the information from him directly..."Xero, you were held captive at one point by Xindai, no? I want you to take me to his base of operations."

"Ya know, if you want to learn dark magic, i might be able to at least give you a base. I'd guess at least that if you know the original spell, the dark equivalent of it would come a bit easier. And we all know that i'm a better mage than Glenny over there ever was." Beuce said as he leaned against the wall and chuckled. The red haired girl apparently was getting some training in before the real fight. This place was safe for now, but with the agents walking around, nowhere was really safe. "Ya know, if we've got enough time for you to train hard enough to do it, i could lend you some pretty powerful spells. After that you can dark 'em up all you like. That'd be kind scary though." Beuce removed one of the gloves on his arm and concentrated. Brilliant multicolor runes light up on his arm. They were a variety of shapes, all leading into one another. Zigzags and spirals, curves, triangles, you name it. On his palm was a solid black moon, surrounded by brilliant white sunbursts. The runes of light and darkness. "Now now, you can bask in awe at my amazing badassery later, although trust me i know how hard it is to resist, for now we've gotta get you trained. I'll help you guys out. Tell me what you need, 'sensei'" He said jokingly at Gexln.

Gexln scratched his head thoughtfully for a moment. What could he tell her to do now? He knew all kinds of techniques for darkness when it came to fighting, but as to how to teach them, he had absolutely no idea. "Alright, now..throw it at me" he ordered. He had to test how strong the magic was. He had no doubt that he could take the hit, and this was the only way he could think of to see just how much she was learning. As Beuce appeared and began spouting his usual nonsense, surprisingly Gexln found himself unable to disagree with him. In the years it had been since he had seen him last, he was still just as frustrating as ever, but he was right about being better than Gexln when it came to magic.

"On second thought, throw it at him instead. He knows magic better than me, he should know what it should feel like" Gexln lied. While Beuce was by far the better sorcerer, Gexln was certain that he himself knew what a dark firaga should feel like, but if there was a way to knock the cocky attitude out of the red mage then he was more than happy to take it.

Juliet had finished talking to the villagers. She couldn't help but feel pain within her, for she knew she would have to leave them all once again, and soon. There was a war to be fought, but at the same time she had seen the strength of the agents...could they really defeat them? Would it be better to face the agents and die trying, or stay where she was, with all the people that cared for her, and simply wait in happiness? She couldn't though. Although she hadn't spent much time with Gexln, he was still her father and she did still want to get to know her father, to see what it was in him that her mother had seen, and she wouldn't see that sitting still in a village. But maybe..

Juliet had an idea. She turned and gave a quick smile to the people that had raised her, that had loved and cared for her after her mother had left. "I'll be back soon!" she called out, summoning her keyblade. Tossing it into the air, it turned into its glider form and she hopped up onto it. She had heard of where the others were going to, and she had a feeling her father would be there with them. After all, she was probably there with him. Earlier, shortly after she had spoken with the villagers, she had sat down in deep concentration and attempted to do the same technique her father did; the thing that allowed him to track a person's darkness. She hadn't been successful with anybody aside from her father, but that was enough, so she sped off in the direction she had gotten a reading from, eager to speak with Gexln.

Holding the dark firaga in her hands Xepphiras was about to throw it at Gexln as instructed, although nervous she might hurt him, but then another voice came up behind her boasting about his magic. Xepphiras turned to look at the man not knowing what to think of his suggestion or if she should actually trust him. That was when Gexln changed his order, he wanted her to throw the dark firaga at Beuce instead. "Um... okay... if you say so..." She hesitated before concentration to make sure she had her aim right. Xepphiras then threw the fire at Beuce with more force then she had hit R with back when she was first learning to control her darkness. The darkness and her control of it was a lot greater now, meaning there was far more force behind her attacks. Once the fireball left her hand and was en route to Beuce, she turned to Gexln for his approval and instruction on what to do next. Was she to learn for this man filled with light, or continue from Gexln, or maybe both. It sounded like Beuce was offering to assist but she had no idea what Gexln was thinking. She didn't know what she was expected to do now besides just stand their and wait.

Karina finally sighed as she turned away from Eon. He had been far to silent for far too long, she knew what she said hurt him and he didn't know what to do next. "Forget it. I am going for a walk." She said at last as she turned and walked away. Her thoughts where not pleasant ones, they rarely where and she had yet to learn when it was time to keep her mouth shut around Eon. She knew his past and guessed that was the reason he was so fragile when it came to topics like this. It wasn't that she expected anyone to be overly strong when their loved one said they wanted to die again but most would find words to say, he couldn't seem to find those. It was unfair for her to sit there and make him wallow in the thoughts of what he could do to help her when her mind was already set. She didn't want to be here anymore.

Walking away from Eon, Karina found a secluded spot to sit and meditate. Think over her options and what may happen over the next few days. The war may or may not kill her and if it didn't what then? She didn't want to be in this life anymore, she wanted to feel the release of death that she had felt once before. However Karina knew she was not strong enough to do that herself, she had tried a couple times before and could never go through with it. She also could never ask any of her friends or family to kill her... no that would be too hard on them.... Unless. Karina started to get an idea of what she could do. She had been running from her father for so long. She knew what awaited her on her home world. After the war, if she survived she would at last accept her fate, but before she did she could finally show her father what she was capable of. She was not destined for a life under his rule or that of another man she was married off too. She could have her own life and she did. But in the end Karina knew the fate she would receive there in her home world. Karina pulled out a recorder and started to leave one last note. Ever since she left Black Creek she had been using it to record herself talking to Eric, now it was time to make one last one for Eon and her kids, assuming they all survived.

Xero followed R down to the hidden library and was astonished by how many books were there. When R asked her if she wanted to go back to where Xindai held her captive, she nearly flinched. Of course she didn't want to go back, but if there was something there that they needed she may not have a choice. Xero sighed, "If there's actually something we need there I guess I don't have much of a choice, do I?" She crossed her arms as she spoke and made a small frown.

"Dark language? I can assure you that most, if not all, of these books are written with the purest of lights in this world. In any world!" she said, slamming a palm onto the table. "This world is not so easily infect by dankness that the Mother Crystal does not allow. She can tell there's some good in you darks, and I can feel it too. So do no insult us by calling our language dark! It's the most holy language we know and only seven people at a time, including their descendants, may know the language!" she finished going off on R. How dare he say their language is "dark" in any shape or form. She could have him executed for that...or something. But be that as it may, she wasn't too concerned with what he thinks. She was always hoping that the Mother Crystal would be alright and she certainly did not want anything to happen to it.

"Why do you wish to speak with Xindai?" she questioned him. "Last I saw him, or at least his body, he had a shattered mind and a useless body. So we chained him to a wall at the keyblade graveyard. No doubt Omega has already tore up the landscape there, no way will we be able to get close again." she said. "Unless...perhaps...Xindai may have left bits and pieces in the minds of those who got near him?" she thought out loud. "That's pretty farfetched, but it's not completely wrong, right?" she said.

R raised an eyebrow at the outburst the sage threw. That wasn't what he meant at all. "I meant no disrespect. It seems you've misunderstood my intent. I was not implying that your language is dark, but there is a language spoken only by us of the dark. I merely translated your language into this. I see it entirely differently than you do." He explained, trying to clear up any bad blood between them. He didn't want to force Xero to go back to a place which would bring up painful memories, but he didn't really have much of a choice at the moment. That may be the one and only place they could find information on the X-blade. From the man who mass produced it.

He looked at Ananta, as she suggested that Xindai had somehow left traces of information in the minds of those he touched. While that's not entirely impossible, the convolutedness of it made him question her intelligence. After a moment's thought on it, he realized she had been wed to the white haired man clad in red he fought on multiple occasions. He no longer had any doubt as to her intelligence. There was none to question. "Yes, well, that is indeed possible, but i feel the more likely idea is that he left some sort of research paper. Notes to keep track of his work. Even someone like him had to have a log of their findings. Xero, if you would." He said, indicating that she should open a corridor of darkness.

Beuce gave a cocky smile as Gexln suggested that he would know what magic should feel like better than him. "Yeah, hit me with it! I know way more than he ever did! Hehe...heh...heh...wait what." Boom. A loud crash was the next sound heard and Beuce was covered in smoke. Once it cleared, the entire wall had collapsed, and all that could be seen of the target of the spell was simply his right hand sticking out, with the middle finger raised at a rather intense angle at Gexln. "Ghrn, Gho Frhk yhrsf." Came an extremely muffled voice from beneath the rubble, saying something rather rude to the nobody which had ordered the shot on him. Finally he emerged from the rubble and gasped for air. "Well, you certainly pack a punch. What's your magic stat? Like, at least eighty?" Oh right you can't break the...right nevermind. It's good. You're a strong mystic. I'd love to see what you could do with the elemental guardian magic, but i don't think you could actually beat me to get it yet." Beuce said to the young red-haired girl. He didn't actually go further and explain what he meant by the that. After climbing out of the rubble, he dusted himself off. Either his HP regen was ridiculous, or he was immortal. "So, know anything else?"

Xero sighed rather loudly in response to R, but she knew that she had to help with whatever this X-Blade was. She opened a corridor leading to Inwonahe, but before she entered she summoned her scythe due to possible paranoia. Xero looked at R and said, "I think... You should go first..." She said looking at the ground, ashamed of herself for being afraid of a place, "I don't exactly know what's there but I just think I'd be better if you went first."

Currently Kel was now wandering around, a habit of his when he was bored or couldn't find anything worth doing. This little habit of his has worked out for him in the past and almost gotten him screwed over in a few special cases, but nothing worth dwelling on. As past records shown, Kel is fairly durable, and lucky from time to time. Granted that luck of his in a few cases is followed up by bad luck so yeah, there that.

Moving on he soon ended outside, a common place for him to end up whenever he was wandering around. It was too long afterward that he heard what sounded like a voice. It was faint so he couldn't make out any of what he was hearing, but it was definitely a voice that he'd heard. Letting his ears guide him, he came upon a surprising sight. It was Karina in a dark corner, it wasn't emo dark but dark enough to suit Karina.

"Brooding in a corner I see." Being that Kel was one of the few people who's strength was within a 10-point gap of hers, he didn't have all much too worry about when it came to her reaction. Assuming she did attempt to strike him, all he had to do was dodge it, assuming this wasn't going to be a bad luck moment for him. If it was then he's screwed.
