The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Ananta listened to Kross' responses and could easily tell that she was overloading him with questions. "Sorry." she said, scratching her cheek momentarily. She nodded at him saying he didn't want to talk about it. Whatever happened to him, it must have been something pretty bad if he was as touchy about the subject as he was. Kross then mentioned Anta, asking her if he was her son. "Yes...he is my son. From a chapter in my life that's finally over. Maybe we can talk more in private, Kross?" she suggested, turning towards the other end of the hallway. "Mostly because there is a big group of people surrounding Glen." she chuckled. Ananta didn't want to talk about personal matters in the open with people who didn't really need to hear any of it. She grabbed Kross' arm and lead him towards a small break room at the end of the hallway. She sat down in a chair and sighed with relief. For the first time in a long time, she could finally have a moment to sit down and rest, talking with an old friend. "What happened to you? I know it's probably something bad, but I want to know what happened. Twenty years is a long time, you know." she said, firmly, to Kross.


Anta was hoping Karina would be ecstatic to hear that Anta wanted to protect Dawn and someday be her husband. He didn't expect her to slap him and tell him no. After being slapped, he rubbed his cheek where she slapped him. His fingers ran across the scars, remembering how he had protected Dawn against the giant heartless. It was then that Karina noted it would end in pain and that she wasn't there for most of their lives. "It's true that you haven't been with them for all of their life, but that doesn't mean you can just stand here and start deciding things FOR THEM." he yelled. Anta stood up with an angry expression on his face. "How dare you yell and slap me. If it weren't for me, you probably wouldn't have even had the chance to SEE DAWN. I SAVED HER WHEN SHE WAS GOING TO DIE." he continued to yell, tears forming in his eyes. "It hurt knowing that she might have died, BUT I DID MY BEST SO SHE WOULDN'T. And you want to know WHY I did it?" he paused, huffing. "Because I love her and would be utterly lost without her." he finished. With a swing of his hand, the door to the room opened. "My mom is in the break room by now, why don't you go talk to her. Maybe you'd learn something about what happened. Maybe you'd learn about differences in CULTURE as well." he growled, sharp teeth bared at Karina. He was giving her the same look as Ananta did all those years ago before she had attacked Karina and bit her.

Dawn and Dusk were following behind. They were conversing about some strange x-blade that appeared in their dreams over the years. It was just odd for them to share the same dream like that.

"You kids talking about the x-blade?" Eon questioned them, ease dropping on their conversation.
"Yeah, Dad. We've had this dream where Dawn and I somehow forged this extremely powerful keyblade that destroyed some unknown black figure."
"We also went out of control and couldn't contain the power it gave."
"Probably means you cant ever wield it alone, but only together would it work. Its saying you both are at your best when together. From what I've witnessed, neither of you have fought together during our training or even in this war, why is that?"
"You." Dawn said angrily.
"What did I do?"
"You always gave Dusk special attention. You never tried to bond with me or teach me special techniques. It was like you were never there when I need you. You abandoned me! And because of that I grew jealous of Dusk and couldn't find the ability to fight with him.
Eon lowered his head, knowing her words were true. He glanced over to Dusk who he'd spent more time with. Dawn didn't know the reasons behind it.
"It's not his fault." Dusk jumped in. "It's not his fault... I had a lot of trouble that you aren't aware of. The times where dad and I disappeared for a few days, it was because darkness swallowed me and I tried to kill him. After a while he tried to train me to control that darkness. I also once tried to kill you... in your sleep."
"He's right. I've had to watch him closely out of fear he'd lose control and kill my daughter. It's not that I hate you, Dawn, its that I love you both so much, I don't want to see you die and your brother lose himself."

Dawn was still uncertain with this. She did however catch wind of her mother and Anta's struggle. She ran over to her mother and grabbed onto her. "Please stop!" She exclaimed. "I know that you're angry, and you're right... I'm too young to be thinking about things like that. I'm sorry, Anta just says some of the nicest things and he is always there to protect me when I need him most!"

"Dawn's right. Whenever I was away with Dusk to assist him in his darkness issues, Dawn always wound up with Anta. Ananta was a friend of you and I so I believed she'd have been okay, guess I didn't pay much attention to their emotions... so this is partly my fault..."

 

Kross and Ananta stood in silence for a minute, it was nice so he hung his head, closing his eyes and thinking she had no more questions. That is, until she grabbed his arm and tugged him along. He opened his eyes and stumbled behind her, what was she doing? He only followed until the two entered the break room. He pulled his arm away with a confused grimace directed at Ananta. He eyed Ananta for a minute as she asked, once again, what happened to him..He sighed, giving up. He sat across from her, red eyes scanning her like a hawk, seeing if she was listening."Okay then..you want the truth? ..I'm not supposed to be alive."He said."If you remember the final battle against Vanitas and his cohorts, it was the end of them..but it wasn't the end of the Heartless."He said, leaning his arms on his lap."Xehanort lured me to the Keyblade Graveyard only to ambush me..I lost the battle and I was put into an eternal slumber..at least it was supposed to be eternal."He said."I woke up from my coma not too long ago.."​

 

R awoke after feeling a slight softness brush his cheek. Looking down slightly, he realized that Xepphiras had kissed him. Returning the affection to her, he grabbed her chin gently, tilted her head toward him, and planted a kiss on her lips. After a short while of laying with the girl, as much as it pained him to separate from her, there were things that needed to be done. He slid out from her her arms as best he could, attempting not to wake her. If she had woken up, he didn't notice it before heading out the door. Walking down the streets of the world, he eventually came upon the library. It was a treasure trove of knowledge. Surely there must be something they could use here...

He began his search, gathering several stacks of books and scrolls taller than he was. Sitting down, he cracked one open and began the long process of finding out the information. He knew that the X-blade was made up of twenty parts. 13 darkness and 7 light. However, he didn't know exactly what this referred to. It could have been either physical pieces of the blade, similar to the cornerstones, or it could be metaphorical for hearts of purity in either attribute. If it was the latter case, then reforging it was going to be a difficult process to say the least. And so time passed as R turned page after page in source after source. He was determined to find something.


Beuce ran down the streets, practically dragging a bewildered looking Satsujin behind him. He had to get him to the medical wing quick. If not, he didn't think he would last long. Racing down the streets, he passed Anta yelling at Karina about something. Ohohohooooooo that was going to be gooood. Anta would need medical attention far more than Satsujin would. Slowing down only momentarily, he patted Karina on the shoulder. "Record it for me would you? I want to see this." He said with a chuckle before running off again. Hopefully he escaped from that unmarred. His speed stat was higher than Karina's last i checked, so probably. And if he didn't, god what a moody, overly agressive *****. He didn't even do anything he was just there.

Anyways, they burst through the doors of the medical wing where Gexln and the final fantasy characters were. He literally flung Satsujin (who by the way, still had no clue what was happening) onto the bed. "Hurry he's unconsious!" "What are you talking about? I'm fully awake." "YOU WERE JUST IN A FIGHT YOU'RE SATSUJIN IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO BE CONSCIOUS! YOU MUST BE HAVING A BAD FEVER DREAM! YOU'RE DELUSIONAL OH GOD YOU'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT AAAAAAAAAAH!" Beuce was interrupted by a smack, snapping him out of his panic attack. "I'm fine you twit." "Oh...good." Beuce then looked over at the others in the room. His fourth wall senses were tingling. "Yeah man, i know what you mean. My banner is waaaay better. And everyone is getting all lovey dovey in this RP. Closest thing i got is Ananta, and you know that's not exactly the most pleasant experience. Maybe if i were desperate...and ugly....and blind...and gay....and deaf...and, you know, dead and incapable of objecting. Then i might agree to it. Wish flame were in this RP. She's way better."​

Xero raised a brow in the direction where she heard Gexln yelling and stomping his foot on the ground. Who was he talking to? She got up from where she was sitting and walked over to the curtain then pushed it aside a bit to see who it was. She saw two people she recognized from Radient Garden, Cloud and Leon, then the rest of the group. Xero revealed herself from behind the curtain and said, "You guys aren't seriously still mad about what happened in Radient Garden are you...? That was like 50 pages ago." She said with a frown and crossed her arms.

 

Ananta listened in silence to Kross' story. She continued to sit in silence to process all that he said. He got into a fight with Xehanort and lost...and was in a coma for twenty years. For some reason, Ananta felt great sadness knowing how much Kross might have or is hurting at this moment. She opened her mouth to try and talk, but stopped herself. What could she say to that? She had no experience with being in a coma and she sure as heck wasn't going to try and get herself into one now. Ananta was jarred from her thinking when she heard a loud thud. Jumping in her seat, she blinked and looked around, wondering what that sound was. Shaking her head, she sighed. "A coma...that sounds dangerous. How badly were you injured? Do you need to be healed?" she asked Kross. Ananta was ready to heal him if he needed it. It would allow her to talk with him for some time and catch up on things. "When did you wake back up, anyway? I mean, how long ago was it?" she asked.


Anta kept his teeth bared at Karina, snarling towards her and ready to defend himself if she tried to hit him. He watched as she yelled at him and punched a wall, leaving a hole. It was then that she left the room finally. Frowning greatly, he finally stopped with the teeth baring and crossed his arms. "What an...angry lady." he commented on her. He knew it was his fault this happened, but he didn't see what was wrong. It's not as if he wanted to marry Dawn yet. Anta knew exactly what could happen between now and then. Dawn could find herself some other stud and marry him. "All I want to do is protect you, Dawn." he said, staring at her. "But all she wants to do is yell at me and tell me I'm too young. This is war, anything could happen...one of us could die and not ever tell the other what they felt..." he trailed off, tapping his foot. Turning his attention towards Eon, he snapped at him. "What do you want?" he said angrily.

Eon stared at Karina as she had her break down. "That's my wife for you, angry but truthful... I've missed it." Eon was smiling at her. It felt like old times. He'd go comfort her later about the matter, first though, the kids needed to be dealt with.

Eon punched both Dawn and Anta on the head. It wasn't a hard punch, it was light and mostly just a love tap to hurt a little. "C'mon, Anta. You know that I'm grateful that you've been with Dawn over the years, but think about it, she's only 14 and still has a few years until she's ready. I had the same problem when I met Karina."

"Ow... you didn't have to hit me or anythin. I said I wasn't ready earlier. I'm not like Anna and stupid enough to get engaged to a guy I just met. I'm waiting til I'm older and ready."

"Who's An- Nevermind... Good for you Dawn. Listen, when this war is over, let's you and me go have a father daughter get together." He patted her head to rub the bruise he probably left.

"Okay." She smiled back.

"Well, I'm going to go calm the awakened dragon, wish me luck!" Eon ran off after Karina. He opened the door and found her, placing a hand on her shoulder giving a light smile. "Okay, I think things will be settled for now. Come on, let's have that talk you wanted."

Dusk looked over to Anta. He had some things to say as well. "As much as she means to you, I would never let her get engaged to you. Not yet. I still have yet to see you prove your worth." He said angrily. "Ever since you started hanging around Dawn, she's been an entirely different person. And its not the person I would have wanted her to become."

Through means totally legit and not BS at all, Kel had arrived on Crystallis along with the others with some injuries cause why not. Currently he was standing in front of a hole in the wall, one that he could easily assume that Karina had made. Now the question was, why. Since the hole wasn't Beuce shaped, he wasn't the cause and he figured that Eon wouldn't be naive enough to anger her to that extent. That just left the kids and from what he just heard, he went ahead and assumed that it was the green haired kid's fault. "I'm guessing that someone here isn't aware of how pissy Karina can become."

AN: I will smack your characters in the head if this gets ignored.

 

Kross glanced to the side, he didn't need her sympathy or anything like that. He only told her the truth and nothing more. Granted, he may have had a crush on Ananta at one time, heck there was even a time when he felt something for Karina. In the end, they both rejected him for people who would eventually, not to his knowledge, cause them both some sort of harm. He shut out love at that point, just wasn't worth it. He only glanced at her when she addressed him and he shook his head."Uninjured, just winded..Omega is..tougher than expected." He said and sharpened his eyes to think for a moment."A few hours ago, give or take..it's been very recent.."He answered. gaze sharply focused on her."Are you injured in any way?"​

 

Ananta listened to Kross. Omega was a tough opponent and Ananta had no idea how they would defeat it. Hopefully, R would find what he needed from the libraries here on Crystallis. The world is only a few hundred years old, but it still had teachings from ages past written on old parchment. Although, some of it might just be written in the sacred sage dialect that only she or one of the other six could read. In any case, if R did happen upon such a thing, he could easily come and find Ananta and she could read what it says. It was then that she heard Kross ask if she was okay. Looking up, she smiled and waved a hand. "Physically I'm fine, but mentally I'm not so sure of. Beuce died and...well...I'm not sad at all to tell you the truth. All of these years, at least in the past sixteen or so, our marriage has been on a thin line. I think he only stayed with me because of Anta and even then we didn't enjoy ourselves like we used to. I'm not sure why, but it seemed as if he had no more love for me. It's true I told him not to make references in front of Anta, but..." she trailed off a moment. A tear came to her eye as she was lost in thought a moment. "But...it still hurts I lost a dear friend like him...even if we didn't love each other any longer. Now...now I either live the rest of my life alone or I somehow find somebody else that could help me have strong kids. It could be anyone, honestly, even you or Kel, or anybody else." she said. "I don't expect anyone to care, anyway." she stood up, adjusting her clothing. "I'll leave you alone to rest for awhile. I fear Karina is mad at my son or somebody else. I wouldn't want her punching anymore holes in the wall..." she said, leaving the room.

Ananta exited just in time to see Eon hurry off. So, she followed him and found them both standing outside. Approaching them, she listened to Eon talk to her. "So did something happen or am I interrupting a very intimate moment between you two?" she asked, crossing her arms. "Either way, I'd like to at least know that you're both not injured?" Ananta finished.


Anta rubbed his head where Eon hit him. "Ow...hitting me again. It's been like...a few years since you hit me!" he retorted, making a pouting face. Once Eon left, Kel entered the room and commented on somebody not knowing about Karina's rage. "if she raged that bad back before she died, then I don't remember it. Especially after SOMEBODIES DAD hits me on my head!" Anta frowned. Crossing his arms, he sat on the bed. Nobody understood what he was trying to say. It was like they all thought he wanted to get married to Dawn now. "You guys all act like I want to marry Dawn NOW. That's just gross, she's at least two years or so younger than me. I just want to protect her..." he said, looking at the ground. "Dusk, I haven't changed her at all...she's changed herself..." he said, sullen. Dawn was starting to make weird sentences that made it seem like she was going crazy. If she went crazy, he still would protect her, but he didn't know if he'd actually be able to do it.

Kross was a little uncomfortable about her talking about Beuce, yes, the guy who loved to make references and break the fourth wall. He was contextually insensitive but he wasn't that bad of a guy.. Her mentioning of finding another love sparked something in him, something he had not felt since he was 17 years old, hope. He then shunned it, it was impossible, she rejected him, if he remembered correctly and she broke his heart, there was no hope that was going to fix that. He only nodded when she proposed to leave him along, giving a slow nod in reply."I'll be out in a little bit."He said, turning from her, only hearing her footsteps echo down the hall. Why did he come here? THis was just a place for painful memories, was he that much of a masochist?"Ugh.."He sighed."I hate romance.."​

What the hell did Kel just walk into. This literally just went from Karina destroying a wall to someone getting married. "Okay, for starters have no idea who Dawn is. Second there's nothing wrong with wanting to protect her, but since your dealing with Karina and she's as stubborn as stubborn can get. It's gonna be hard to convince her otherwise." That was pretty much all that he had to say on the topic right now. Considering his own luck, he wasn't the most qualified to be discussing this with a kid.

 

Gexln kept looking between Beuce and Cid. Back and forth, from one to the other, his eyes and ears knowing what was going on but his mind unable to believe anything. "Doctor underscore Wigglz? Squiggly line Phoenix squiggly line? Who are th-" he started, but cut himself off. He shook his head in disbelief. "You know what, you're" he said, pointing a finger at Cid, "just as bad as he is!" he said, now pointing at Beuce. "You're all insane, and talking about things that don't exist. Just what the hell is wrong with all of you?" he asked, now walking off rather quickly and exiting, continuing on until he was standing outside. "Some people never change, that guy is still just as stupid and just as schizophrenic as ever.." he said, speaking to himself.

He would have continued forward, were it not for one thing; as he was exiting, he saw Karina. Immediately the Nobody turned around and took a step back a bit. He walked around the corner and simply waited. He was no longer outside, but he was a small distance away from Cid. Not a large distance, but enough that he would surely be unheard if he spoke quietly enough. "He's probably still just as bad at wielding an umbrella.." Gexln said, remembering his past interactions with Beuce.

Xero gave the group an irritated growl as things began getting more and more hectic. Especially since Beuce suddenly ran in here with that one guy who she cut open his face earlier. Xero's patience was beginning to run thin as she then saw Gexln storm off somewhere else. The group from Radient Garden couldn't have come for no particular reason so she decided that she needed to figure out why they were here.

"Stop talking nonsense you idiots! What're you doing here and why?" She spoke sternly and gave the group a firm glare as she spoke, her arms crossed. There was no more time to screw around. Omega is coming and so was the second Agent, Chaos, "Don't give me a bunch of side crap, get to the point! If you haven't noticed, the universe is literally about to end."

 

Beuce shook his head, pitying Gexln. "Poor kid...Got fourth wall displacia. Tragic really..." He looked at Cid. So, there was another fourth wall breaker around. Aside from Dawn who just broke the fourth wall all willy nilly without even doing it in good taste, that is. He walked over to Cid and began inspecting him. "So...You're one of the rare ones that don't have the disease eh? You can see past it can you? Then you obviously know how awesome i am." Beuce said in an interrogatory voice for some reason. Then he turned to Xero, saying the world was about to end. Pfft. Yeah. This one. Beuce could just jump on over to the next rp through the fourth wall and get there. But he did kinda like this RP and he didn't want it to end through some agents being pricks and killing everything...So, he'd probably help. "Well, currently R is getting his read on in the library to figure out how to make the X-blade. If we can get that, it should power us up enough that we can handle the agents. After all, Kingdom Hearts and The X-blade are like siblings, and if anime has taught us anything it's that siblings always have similar power levels. But when one is the main character, then that one will always win except the first time they fight. Plus, we've got a rock as magic as a school bus that can power it up more. Just need to give it time to charge" ​

 

Gexln sat still for a moment. He had had enough of Cid and his posse. Not only were they referencing things that were ridiculous, but now one of them was following him around. You would think when someone storms off they want to be alone, apparently not. He thought to himself. He sighed, people just did not get the message sometimes. Silently, he held his right hand out and opened a dark corridor leading to the realm of darkness. Not looking at Yuffie, he pointed at it, indicating for her to leave. He was tired of dealing with people, and if he had to seal someone in the realm of darkness to avoid socialization, well he was going to seal someone away.

After a minute, Yuffie had made no effort to leave. Another sigh, another dissappointment. He focused a small amount of dark energy into his right arm, and then he lashed out and simply shoved Yuffie through the dark corridor and into the realm of darkness. He then closed both ends of the corridor, and sat still once more. He had successfully sealed somebody away. The Nobody then sat there and began planning his next move.

Eon took the slap and only looked at her in shock. He sighed and brought her in, holding onto her tightly. "I thought we went over this Karina. I vowed to protect you against anyone who dared try and hurt you. That included your own family. I myself am still unaware of how you were revived... but I am probably at fault.' He looked over at Ananta and nodded back to her. It was best she leave the two of them alone. If things were going to get worse, he'd rely on his friend to help Karina.

"Now for being a mother, from what I have seen in the few hours of seeing you again, you've been more motherly and sweet towards them then I imagined you'd be. You're a great woman and a great mother. Now stop worrying over the past! We need to fight for our children so they can actually have a future. If you weren't here, I'd be afraid that we would lose this battle and the entire universe would be destroyed. Have faith in yourself, my love."


Dawn looked back at Dusk and then to Anta. "You both think... I've changed? And it sounds like neither of you like who I've become over the years." She lowered her head, walked to the corner, and sat down. Maybe they are right. I have become more emotional over the years. I'm not the same girl I was... Mom... What is the change?

"Dawn I--"

"Just shut up, Dusk. Leave me alone for a while."

"... We should go, Anta." Dusk walked off to one of the other rooms. Maybe I was too harsh. "Anta.. I'm sorry for what I said. I was just angry and being stupid."

 

Ananta walked over and joined Eon and Karina in their embrace. "Karina, you are my friend...a dear friend. We may have had our disputes in the past, but I want you to know I loved you and everyone else with all my heart...that's why at our first major battle where we all fought against a great foe..." she nearly finished. Shaking her head, she chuckled. "Well, you know what happened. In any case, please know that we all love you. All of your old friends as well as the children of those who had any." she smiled to Karina. Ananta pulled from the hug and wiped a tear. "I don't think I could bear losing you again, you know." she added on, turning around. It was then that her ear perked up and she noticed Eric. Then she realized what he mumbled.

Ananta stepped over and pushed him out of view of Karina and Eon. "Don't lie to me. You can never hide your true feelings from the Mother Crystal or me." she growled to Eric. Clasping her hand on his collar, she pushed him against the building. "But I'll have you know, if you do anything dark to anyone here, I promise you will NOT be shown mercy. Know that I can and WILL know that you try anything. The Mother Crystal sees all and knows all." she snapped, acting as if she'd bite him, however, stopping herself from actually doing it. "I'm good with my teeth. Karina knows...do NOT do ANYTHING wrong or dark." Ananta finished, shoving away Eric and stepping away, heading back into the building. She stormed into the lounge Kross was in and walked over to the fridge, grabbing a water bottle out.


Anta watched Dawn sit in a corner and nearly walked over to her. He could tell her heart was conflicting with itself, not sure what was wrong with herself. It was then that Dusk stopped him and walked out of the room. Dusk couldn't help but question what was wrong with Dawn. "Well...there are plenty of reasons a young girl could be feeling down. While also having mood swings and weird tendencies. It is called a period or maybe even puberty?" he questioned, stopping in the middle of walking. "What do you think?"
