The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Xindai too felt the pull of Lysa's gravity magic. Well, he needed to be in the epicenter as it was. Using his star crystal, he was in the very core of the pull. He watched as combatant and terrain alike was drawn into the canyon. Everything was going just as planned. Lysa would make a fine addition. He watched as the battle between Gexln and Sabell raged on. This was the perfect opportunity to push Gexln further under his control. With a flick of his wrist, the darkness within Gexln was tempered. Not only was his own darkness strengthened, but it was mixed in with a drop of Xindai's. The original, most powerful darkness from which all else stemmed.

'Come now Gexln, show me the power that destroyed a world."

Meanwhile, there was one more person who may be worthwhile to turn to his side....
'Come now girl. If you fall, the darkness will consume Gexln. It's a powerful force...If you can keep it within your control. Like a fire, once it gets out of hand there's no stopping it. It will grow, consume all in its path. If you don't get back up, who's to say what influence he might fall under? Or rather...Who's influence? But what are you to do? Those wounds are bad. I can feel your consciousness slipping. There may be an ace up my sleeve that can save you, for a price."

R's swipe narrowly missed. Louvel was pulled away by some unseen force dragging everything toward the canyon. Their original plan was now lost. Even if they could gather all the lights into the canyon, his own allies would be there as well. Even were he heartless enough (lol get it?) to kill them along with the opposing side to win the war himself, he'd have to deal with the guardians alone, And that was a task he could scarcely dream of. The most he could do right now was take out Louvel. None of his wielders would stand a chance against Excalibur if he managed to unlock it's full potential. Just as he began to give chase, he heard a scream.
"Help me, Please!"
The pained cry for help of Xapphires gave the heartless pause. He looked over and saw exactly why she was doing so. The great gravitational pull wasn't enough to uproot her, but certainly enough to cause pain. If he pursued Louvel, there was a good chance he could finish him off. But...He couldn't abandon her. With blinding speed, he raced to her side. He stood there in front of her. "Do not fear." He said softly. A palm was placed on her forehead. From it, a skin tight layer of darkness spread around her body, below ground and all. From there, it expanded and pushed the dirt away from her. Reaching in, he pulled her from the hole that was created and placed her by his side. In his final darkness state, he was by far strong enough to resist the pull of the gravity, but saving Sapphire had come with a price. The D-link with I's drawback was it's finite amount of time it could be sustained. The white in his eyes slowly faded back to red, and his power level dropped. Now, it was only slightly over 9000.​

 

Gexln stopped climbing and simply watched. Once again, he had been close to dying, but this time it seemed as though Xero had taken his place instead. First Kaxar, and now Xero..people were dying in front of him, and it was his fault. The darkness within began to well up, began to flow rapidly in his veins, fuelled by the rage within.
'Come now Gexln, show me the power that destroyed a world."

It was at this point that Gexln felt an unfamiliar darkness enter his body. He felt more power than he had ever known, seeping into his very existence, and suddenly his body no longer felt tired, he no longer wished to rest; he only wanted blood. He turned and glared at the girl that had attempted to kill Xero, focusing all his attention on her. It was as though the gravitational pull was no longer there, as though they were no longer in a war. This was just between her and him.

The darkness intensified now, now overflowing out of Gexln and visually appearing around him as a thin dark purple outline. If you looked closely enough you would see the vapours of darkness, leaving his body and scattering into the wind. A strange sound could be heard, the echoes of the pulsating power flowing throughout him.

WHYYAAAA WSHEE WSHEE WSHEE!

Gexln cracked his knuckles, and then took a single step forward, testing the boundaries of this new power. The gravitational pull, while still felt, wasn't stopping him. He found he could stand with ease, and to an extent he could move. He let go of both of the weapons that he was holding; the keyblade and sword falling to the ground. He slowly began advancing on Sabell, no thought other than revenge on his mind.​

Sabell only laughed at Xero's "heroic" stunt she just pulled and then eyed Gexln as she suddenly felt the power level in the area rise. It was obviously coming from him, darkness was surrounding him and he suddenly became even more serious.

Sabell's grin got wider, "Finally, we can have some fun!" Sabell then used the gravity's pulling to her advantage by flying in It's direction toward Gexln with her swords, and then quickly slashed at him multiple times.

Xero struggled to keep consciousness and she even tried moving, then she suddenly heard a voice in her head... One that she loathed with every aspect of hatred there could be, 'Come now girl. If you fall, the darkness will consume Gexln. It's a powerful force...If you can keep it within your control. Like a fire, once it gets out of hand there's no stopping it. Xero's fist weakly clenched and anger began to build, 'W..what did y..ou do... T.. to... Gex..ln...?!'

'It will grow, consume all in its path. If you don't get back up, who's to say what influence he might fall under? Or rather...Who's influence? But what are you to do? Those wounds are bad.' Xero began to slowly get up despite the pain she felt from her wounds, "Shut up..." The eternity stone that was on the necklace around Xero's neck began to glow brighter.. and brighter.. and brighter. The brighter the stone got, the more power Xero felt coursing through her body.

'I can feel your consciousness slipping. There may be an ace up my sleeve that can save you, for a price.' By the time Xindai finished, Xero was glaring over at Xindai's direction, her eyes filled with hatred and disgust. "This... Is all your fault... Everything..." Xero was finally able to stand even with the blades still in her back.

Xero then let out a blood curtailing scream at the top of her lungs into the sky and suddenly a pillar of darkness shot up from the ground and engulfed her. Xero then began levitating off the ground and higher into the pillar of darkness, the blades in her back were ripped out from the sudden explosion of darkness. The stone around her neck grew brighter with a black light and eventually suddenly went dim.

When the dark pillar finally dissipated, Xero's appearance changed quite drastically. She had a wing of golden light that held her in the air, and shredded red shirt tails, glowing ruins all around her body and her two double-bladed scythes that floated beside her.

Xero's expression was nothing but anger and hate as she glared at Xindai with borderline insanity in her eyes. Xero then rocketed herself at Xindai at an alarming speed, "XINDAAAAIII!!!!" She screamed Xindai's name as she flew toward him and once she got close enough she slammed the back of her scythe into him, sending him flying like a bullet into the canyon wall behind him, an explosion of darkness appeared as she hit him. "F*CK YOU!!!" She screamed once again, then soon followed Xindai and prepared for another attack.

 

Kross walked along, so far he encountered no threats or resistance. The people seemed to welcome him back, after a run in with Shang and Mulan, he asked them about the locket. They didn't know, but he wasn't disappointed. He should have seen it coming. He sighed, putting a hand to his armor, but before he could, there were screams coming from down the dirt road. He widened his eyes and ran, sliding to a stop as a giant Dragon Heartless appeared before him. He called upon his Odin Keyblade, gripping it tightly."All right, let's do this..!"

 

Ananta was just about to help this girl when she saw a dark hand pull her from the ground. Hopping backwards, she realized that she almost helped an enemy. The darkness receeded from her as she appeared next to another boy. His eyes seemed different now as well...but he was evil alright. Shaking, she gripped her keyblade and bit her lip. 'What the heck, why did I almost help her...? I mean, she didn't seem...evil....but then again...' she muddled over the details. Looking at the girl, she shook her head. "And to think I almost helped scum like you..." she cursed under her breath. Not taking any chances, Ananta jumped at Xepphiras. She had her keyblade pointed straight at her. Whatever happened next, Ananta was ready for it, to say the least.

Valinton saw Kaya let go of the rock and reached out to grab her with one of the remaining tendrils that wasn't stuck into the ground. He successfully caught her and held her tightly and close. Valinton looked around as to where the force was coming from and saw that someone was causing everything to be pulled towards her. 'Her! She's the one we need to stop... But how?' He looked at Kaya for suggestions as he spoke.

 

R glared at Ananta. Her lunging attack was intercepted by something risen from R's shadow, which lay directly beneath her. A rather large hand burst from the ground and attempted to tighten an iron grip around her. The hand was followed by the body it was attached to, a larger version of the creature known as the guardian. Even if she evaded the grip, it would have served its purpose in stopping. "Hypocrite. You would blindly murder any who do not share the same view as you, purely because they are different. You fear the dark. Fear begets anger. Anger begets violence. Tell me, who is the true villain? If you wish to do battle, i will oblige, but know that there is an evil worse than I in the canyon. He created the tools of power with which we struggle against one another. The keyblades. He is the one who started the first keyblade war when he sought to dominate Kingdom Hearts. He is the one who has corrupted it into seeking violence. He is the epitome of evil. Neither side can achieve victory while he lives. He will tear them both apart from the inside without lifting a finger."

R's gaze was as though it looked into the depths of your soul. His voice that of a natural leader. His monotone words hinted that what he spoke was true. He dismissed his guardian and began walking in the direction of the canyon, motioning for Xapphires to follow. "No doubt he has turned those from both sides to his own gain. Assuming you would be facing just him would be a fatal mistake. I would recommend tending to your injured if you intend to help. Unless of course, you still desire a fight with me..." His voice indicated he accepted that as possible, but hoped that it wasn't the case.


Xindai wasn't at all surprised to see Xero's transformation. He'd hoped she would take his deal, but he had planned for this possibility. The blow struck hard and sent him flying. An aerial recovery got him ready for the coming onslaught before it hit. He'd be facing down the powers of Excalibur and The Eternity stone simultaneously... A trying fight, but not something he was entirely new to. And after all, Louvel was an absolute novice in comparison to Arthur. He swung his fist with a massive amount of telekinetic, along with dark, force behind it, and delivered it straight to the jaw of Xero. His reflexes were inhuman. The second the attack was through, dodged or blocked, he was gone in a flash. Transported to the wielder of Excalibur. From a slightly higher position, he spun with his feet on a verticle angle to perform a double kick to the jaw, and once again he was gone. Behind him, he drove an elbow at his back. While he was fighting, he sent a message to Gexln, Sabell, and Lysa.

'Gexln, Turn your attention from the girl and aid me in my fight. You must now choose where your loyalties lie. With me or Xero.'
'Sabell, Lysa, you two are to hold off the rest of those coming to join the fight. On my mark, drive them as close to me as you can.'​

 

The grip around her was quite tight. In fact, she coughed up plenty of saliva. Once the grip was gone, she knelt on the ground and coughed. His whole speech was dumb. He was a nobody...definitely a nobody. She could tell by his words and speech patterns. He also used darkness. That just confirmed it even more. Looking up, she saw Xepphiras dragging her feet behind her strange friend. Of course, Ananta wasn't stupid and she knew not to chase after those two. Mostly because she didn't want to fight him and that girl at the same time. However, it was strange to see a keyblade in the hand of the girl...perhaps she was a previous wielder...? Ananta shook her head, not knowing what to think. All she knew of nobodies was that a strong heart was needed to make such a strong and willful nobody. Coughing hard one last time, Ananta looked around at the events. Taking in each one, she decided to sit and meditate. It was the best thing for her right now. It would also allow her to regain strength.

Xero's reflexes were almost enhanced with the transformation, for she had easily dodged the punch from Xindai. She saw Xindai suddenly teleport by Louvel and chased after him by flying over to the area with super speed. "NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS THAT EASILY!" She swung one of her scythes at Xindai and if he were to catch, dodge, or get hit by it, another scythe would come at him as well.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO GEXLN?!"

Valinton then had an idea, 'I'll throw you to her..' as bold as his statement was, it was a plan after all. 'Yes.. I'll throw you toward the gravitational pull and it'll get you to the girl faster. I'll run after you as well while also using the pull to make me go even faster. We can both attack head on and take her down with ease.'

 

Gexln stopped, not entirely sure what he should be doing. The power flowing through him demanded he help Xindai, but that would require fighting Xero. However, he would not have this power for very long should he betray Xindai. The decision, as difficult as it was, was painfully simple. Without a word, he seamlessly dodged to the side, avoiding Sabell's attack, as he prepared his own counterattack. With a quick flick of the wrist, Gexln summoned a dark corridor and leaped through it. Emerging on the opposite side of Sabell, he came barrelling out of it like a bull at a gate and simply tackled her to the ground. Before she could react, Gexln was already on the move once more. He leaped into the air and began firing Dark Firaga after Dark Firaga, unleashing a catastrophic barrage onto the girl that would surely do some damage. Satisfied with that for the moment, Gexln turned and took off immediately in Xindai's direction.

Gexln was there within moments due to yet another dark corridor, at Xindai's side and in front of him, blocking Xero's path. He knew that no amount of words would be able to explain why he was going to do what he was about to do, and he could only hope that in some way Xero would forgive him, although who would forgive someone attempting to beat the ever-loving crap out of them he had no idea, but what small amount of light that resided in him held onto that hope. He held up a hand in front of Xero, who was rocketing towards them, and from the palm of his hand a slight glow began to form. After less than a second, a dark firaga fired out of his palm, and Gexln raced forward, attempting a darkness-infused punch into the girl's stomach.​

Sabell suddenly saw Gexln coming at her from behind, she was then tackled to the ground. As she tried turning around, she was suddenly flung into the air and attacked by multiple barrages.if dark firaga. Sabell tried blowing out the firagas with her wings buy was hit by one of them and then soon the rest. She fell to the ground with burn marks of where she was hit and had then reverted to her original form. Sabell looked over to Gexln with a glare as he then ran over to Xindai's side before she eventually blacked out from exhaustion and low dark energy.

As Xero rocketed toward Xindai, she was about to bash him with her scythes but was suddenly blocked by someone she was not expecting to be stooping her at all, "G-Gexln?!!" She came to a halt in midair, rather too close to him for comfert. The thought of almost hitting Gexln frightened her. Her eyes went wide as Gexln suddenly shot a dark firaga at her. The firaga caught her off guard and she didn't have enough time to react for her to block it, so she was hit. Xero was knocked back a bit and soon felt a fist to her stomach, knocking the air out of her. She staggered backward as she coughed and gasped for air. Staring at the ground in shock of what just happened, Xero looked back up at Gexln with wide, and confused eyes, "Gexln, what the hell are you doing?!"

Xero couldn't think straight anymore. Gexln was attacking her and she didn't know why. He had just helped her, and quite possibly saved her life; and now he was attacking her. Xero felt butterflies in her stomach as the thought of having to fight Gexln popped into her head.

"N-no... I.. I won't.."

 

One's fist was blocked by the keyblade. Only if he possessed such a weapon of his own he could take less damage from such blocks. That was the disadvantage of hand to hand. Advantage was quick recovery, and that was just what he needed, falling to the ground, he placed his hand on the dirt, twirled, and aloud his legs to come crashing towards Eric. "Son and daughter they are by blood. I care for them however as much as mud."


Dawn blinked towards Anta. He was right, they could all go together no problem. "Yeah, lets go."
"First, we need to get back to One and that other man... and Xapphy..." He muttered the last bit.
"Right, lets go Anta, they need out help."


Enox had been untied and freed from the prison. "Well, now is not the time to fight." He looked towards Caleb. "Kid, I'm going to fall back, if you care to come along, the corridor will be open." He summoned the dark corridor and stepped on through, traveling to a separate world.
"Olympus Coliseum huh, guess this will do."

 

Ananta opened her eyes as she suddenly felt a dark corridor open. Looking around, she watched as Enox stepped through one he had created. Biting her lip, she quickly stood up and began to run towards it. Every step she felt like she was doing the wrong thing, but she just couldn't help it. In her head, she couldn't avoid following Enox. She knew something was going to happen and she didn't want that to mean darkness winning. Stopping in front of the corridor, Ananta looked at it with caution. She had never walked through on of these. Touching it carefully, she felt the cool darkness brush over her skin. It gave her the creeps, suffice to say, and she almost didn't walk through it. Taking a deep breath, she stepped through and appeared in Olympus Coliseum. Shivering from the cold darkness, she looked at Enox. "Bet you didn't think you'd see me, huh? Well, I followed you. Can't keep you out of my sight, lest you begin to cause trouble. Especially if Caleb is around. He and you are nearly one of a kind." she snarled.

Meanwhile, Anta had scooted closer to Dawn in order to allow Dusk room to sit. It was a little tight and he was uncomfortable, but he would do whatever it takes to get them back to that strange guy that tried to hurt Dusk. "Hold tight you two, we're going to get there as fast as possible." he spoke to them. Concentrating, he called his heart out to his keyblade armor. Light engulfed him and soon dissipated to reveal his keyblade armor. Revving his keyglider, they soon shot off towards One. Barreling towards him, he gritted his teeth. "Keyblades ready, we're going to try and impale him." Anta smirked. His face had contorted into a smile so sinister, that you'd think he was crazy. Something was wrong, that's for sure.

Gexln stopped momentarily. Xero refused to fight him, and despite all the darkness that flowed through him, part of him didn't want to fight her, either. His mind snapped back to the corpse of Kaxar, to the blades that had impaled her. He had not been strong enough to save her. He would not let the same thing happen to Xero or Juliet. He decided there and then, he would fight Xero, but he refused to kill her. He cared not whether or not Xindai read his mind and knew he had no intention to kill Xero, for if he was indeed looking that deep he would know that Gexln legitimately did plan to assist Xindai.

Gexln once again summoned the keyblade, midnight's venture, and raised it slightly. "Xero, if you don't fight me, you're not going to walk away from here alive" he lied. He wanted Xero to fight him, partly to see how strong she was in this new form of hers, and partially because he had a suspicion that if she tried to attack Xindai again it would spiral into something that perhaps even the dark creator wouldn't be able to handle. The Nobody of the Dark took a step forward, to the point he was just in front of Xero. If he was wrong, and her refusal to fight him as indeed an act, then she was in the perfect position to take him out, but the small part of him that wanted to avoid fighting her believed that she would not. "Now take your weapon, tighten your focus, and draw your last breath" he told her.


Juliet looked up, away from the dark corridor she was falling into once again, to see Gexln standing in front of Xero, keyblade raised. Part of her was wanting to scream at him to stop, to not attack the person he had just been fighting for, but the other part of her knew that, given the positioning of both, Xero wasn't particularly wanting to kill him, and neither did he her. However, if one thing about her father was true, it was that when he asked a person to fight him, a refusal was as good as saying 'kill me'. "Xero, get your head together and fight back! If he wanted to kill you he would have done it already, so get your head out of the clouds and don't give up!" Juliet shouted at Xero. As she went into the dark corridor for yet another time, she couldn't help but let out a short gasp out of surprise. She had just tried to encourage Xero, again. A small frown came across the young girl's face as she made a mental note to not get close to Xero. After all, it was a daughter's job to make her father's life a living hell, wasn't it?


One moment Enox had been laying down, the next he had gone through a dark corridor, even offering something of an invitation to Caleb as he did so. Right after that, Ananta had gone through after him. Caleb's head hurt from all the decisions he was having to make, and exhaustion wasn't helping much either. The choice was, thankfully, somewhat obvious. Ananta had seemed very determined to treat Enox as an animal, and Caleb wasn't going to let that stand. He rushed through the dark corridor quickly, blades now summoned once more to his side as he ran. When he went through, he found himself in a place that looked very much like a battle arena. He slowed down slightly as he came to a stop near Enox and faced Ananta, ready to leap into action should it be needed.​

Xero only stood there wide eyed and frozen in shock. She could literally feel the heartbreaking pain in her chest as her eyes watered and tears fell from her face. She looked at the ground for a moment as she began to tremble, but suddenly heard Juliet shout to her, "Xero, get your head together and fight back! If he wanted to kill you he would have done it already, so get your head out of the clouds and don't give up!" Xero looked at the ground silently as the realization of what Juliet said clicked. She was right, Gexln would've killed her already if he wanted to. But, that still doesn't make things any better for the fact that he defended Xindai.

Xero's expression became grim, tears still flowing from her eyes as she looked back up at Gexln, "You're helping Xindai..." She said as she quickly snatched one of her floating scythes from its "orbit" and held one of the blades up to Gexln the same way he held his Keyblade to her, "This war is tearing people apart... It's changing you and as well as me... I can understand the anger you feel about losing someone you loved during a battle..." Xero's fist clenched around her scythe, "But, why... Of all people... Are you helping HIM?!"

Xero quickly snatched the other floating scythe from its orbit and quickly began bashing away at Gexln, each attack coming quicker after the other, and stronger with each hit. Hit after hit against Gexln, Xero's eyes still filled with tears as she couldn't believe that Gexln was helping Xindai, "We trusted you, Gexln!!" She said as she still delivered attack after attack, "I trusted you!!"

Valinton nodded to Kaya and took a second to aim at Lysa, 'GO!' he said as he finally threw Kaya toward the canyon and soon ran after her using the pull to his advantage. Once he got close enough to Lysa, he released a dark firaga flamethrower from his mouth as his first attack.

 

The attack came down towards One. His body barely dodged a critical hit, but he was still given a slight scratch. "The pain feels so good. Now why am I so misunderstood. You think of them as kin? With that idea you simply won't win!" One plunged into the ground as the shadows continued to increase in diameter. Out came a creature similar to that of a Darksider. No more speech came from his lips. Only the darkness of heartless coming from his body emitted.

Enox looked towards Anatana and Caleb. He simply ignored the girl yet glanced in a way to show he cared very little. As for Caleb, "Boy, welcome to Olympus Coliseum. It is here that a certain being has access to the world of the dead. Come, help me track him down."

Lysa trembles as she feels Xindai's voice in her mind, a wince creasing her brow as she nods silently; the young thief's eyes begin to darken, and then to glow with a purple light as she prepares to do Xindai's bidding, having to strongly remind herself that she was doing this for Sapphire. The air in the canyon visibly ripples as conflicting forces of gravity tear at the molecules of air. A vast cylinder had formed around Xindai's fight with Louvel and Xero. Anyone trying to cross the line would find that gravity, in a ten-meter thick ring, had ceased to function as it should, the pull forcing mass one way or another. Even if someone was strong enough to push through the field, the dizziness that feat would bring could still result in a combatant so dazed and disoriented that they would be unable to stand.
