The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Sabell only gave Xero a smirk as she suddenly jumped backwards, now willing to take the chance of giving her an opening. Xero's scythe quickly slammed into the ground as Sabell's blades left her scythe and Sabell was caught off guard by the Keyblade suddenly being hurled at her. It slammed into her from the side and she was knocked to the ground with a thud.

Sabell lied there for a moment and then stuck one of her swords in the ground to help her get up. She glared at Juliet with blood running down her face and wiped it off with the back of her hand, "I didn't expect that to come at me so fast..." She said quietly to herself. Sabell then took both of her swords and swung them to her sides as she began to form a giant ball of condensed air.

Xero must've saw what she was doing and began to run towards her but she was too slow. Once the ball was big enough, Sabell flung her body around to roundhouse kick it toward Juliet and it flew towards her at a rather high speed. Xero ran up to her a moment too late and slashed at Sabell again. Sabell brought up her swords to defend herself and skidded backwards as Xero hit them.

"My, my, someone's having a temper tantrum." Sabell taunted, rather surprised at the sudden strength Xero put into the attack she just made.

Xero was fed up with Sabell's toying around. She then felt that in order to get this over with she would have to use one of her strongest attacks. But she was hesitant about it, for it would cause her to possibly fall unconscious from the amount of darkness it would use.

Valinton looked over to see a shard heading straight toward Kaya, he acted quickly and was prepared to deflect it but suddenly he saw Azurite jump in front of it and use himself to stop it. Valinton looked at the boy with wide eyes, the shards were protruding out of him and he somehow wasn't dead. Valinton frantically looked over to Kaya, "Kaya!" He called to her. The boy sounded as if he was wheezing and said, "Help me...",
Valinton kneeled down by the boy and examined his wounds frantically, "I'm not sure who this boy is but he doesn't have much time."

Juliet showed a slight grin as the keyblade hit home. Her attack had seemed to work, something she was happy with. Tapping into the chaos within her was exceptionally dangerous, one slight misbalance could see her completely taken over by it, so she had taken a major risk, but it had paid off. She was somewhat surprised when Sabell got back up; the attack hadn't exactly been weak. The moment Juliet saw the glare from Sabell, she couldn't resist saying something.

"Hey, do yourself a favor, stay down. You're going to get hurt real bad if you keep fighting" Juliet half-warned, half-taunted. If she had expected it to convince Sabell to give up, she was disappointed. Her opponent was doing anything but slowing down, forming some kind of ball of energy with her swords. Juliet had to admit, the fact she was even attempting an attack like that was impressive, but she couldn't let herself be overwhelmed by awe, not in the heat of battle. The daughter of chaos then took note of the ball of energy shooting right at her, at a speed that was very dangerous. Juliet wasn't the fastest fighter, so it would be a little bit of a challenge getting out of the way.

Juliet had to tap into the chaos once again if she were to avoid the attack; something she didn't like the idea of. She focused intensely, and after a few moments she had an idea. The girl began sprinting towards the wind ball, spinning her keyblade in a windmill fashion, and simply collided with the ball. One end of her keyblade glowed a yellow colour, the other a dark purple, and the center was a bright orange. All the colours blended together, spinning faster and faster, as Juliet pushed with all her strength against the wind ball, and succeeded in dispelling the attack, causing the wind ball to simply vanish. She then continued the attack, travelling quite quickly as she rocketed towards Sabell with the same Chaos Windmill attack she had just performed.

 

Staring blankly at Caleb, she was about to speak when Beuce intervened. Glaring at him and then slapping the palm of her hand to her forehead, she couldn't believe what he just said. "Beuce, I understand that you're trying to help, but this guy helped the enemy." she spoke, holding her keyblade defensively. Looking at Caleb, she had the feeling that he might attack her soon enough. Averting her eyes, she looked over at Enox. Who knows how long he'd actually stay that way. "But first off, we should take care of Enox, don't you think?" she sighed, pointing at the person in question.

The crystal soon was in his hand. His eyes had closed for a moment, as if he had died, but soon sprang back open as he took a long gasp of air. Coughing and sitting up, he clutched the crystal tightly in his hand. Looking at Dawn, he looked down at his hands and the crystal. They were bloody still, but he could easily clean them. Placing the crystal back around his neck, he stood up and began walking over to Dawn. "I didn't quite finish mending your stomach, Dawn. I think it'd be best if I did, don't you think?" he said, stopping in front of her. Hugging her, you could tell how thankful he was just by his voice. "But first, thank you."

A small look of disgust passed over Caleb's face. "Helped the enemy? He saved my life while you tried to take it! He's more of an ally than you are!" he accused. Caleb was emotionally distraught, but it was to be expected. He had spent his entire life protecting people, always risking his life to save others, and now someone that he had just risked his life to save had thanked him by trying to kill him. Upon Ananta mentioning Enox again, Caleb took a quick glance at him. He didn't owe Enox anything now, not after they had saved each others' lives. "I'll help take care of him, I won't stop you from capturing him or whatever it is you have planned, but don't harm him. He is defenceless and unable to do anything, so try not to harm him. Before you do that though, I want an explanation for why you attacked me" Caleb demanded.

Sabell saw Juliet coming towards her fast and she quickly jumped up and spun making multiple Razor Winds fly toward Juliet.

​

Xero only stood there with her eyes closed concentrating on the darkness within her. She then began to levitate off the ground as her body began to radiate with darkness. Xero had made the decision to use Judgement of Shadows on her own sister. If Sabell lived after the attack, she wouldn't be able to do very much at all.

Xero rose her scythe into the air above her and focused her gaze on Sabell. Suddenly multiple portals opened up around Sabell as well as Juliet as she closed in on her. A portal opened up above Xero as well just above her scythe. Her scythe began to glow a black color as it began charging power, "Juliet! Quickly! Imobalise Sabell some how! I don't know how long I can stay like this before releasing the attack!" Xero shouted at Juliet trying to delay the attack as long as she could.

 

She was hugged. And as such, she cling back to him to eventually let go. Dawn nodded as Anta tried to explain. This time though, she wouldn't just let him strip her. Instead she lifted her shirt up just enough to heal her without showing to much of herself.


"I'm laughing because I amused myself. Acting completely serious with a hint of sarcasm. That is funny to most." He wiped a tear from his eyes as the laughter finally stopped. He gave an encouraging smile towards the girl.


One gave a wide smile as he saw the old man walking around looking for someone. A victim to torment slowly indeed. He pulled himself down into a puddle of shadows until managing to be behind the old man. "Karina, Karina! Oh where is my sweet dear Karina." One began to mock as the old man called. "I might know where your beloved Karina is." His smile got wider as he knew this would be a trigger to get his attention.

 

Using what little time that he actually had Kel managed to re-adjust his footing to his give a stronger footing on the ground. Using his keyblade to guard the attack, he prepared for his own attack. While he had to admit the force from his attack was strong, he had plenty of experience dealing with darkness. Without a moment to waste, he swung his towards Glen's head, he expected him to dodge the attack cause his attack was with one hand, leaving his other hand opened for an extra attack.

 

"I wasn't TRYING to hit you, stupid. I was trying to hit him." she jerked her head towards Enox. "But apparently, trying to predict his movements meant almost hitting you. To which I couldn't tell, seeing as it was so dark down there." Swinging her keyblade around and over her shoulder, she couldn't help but sigh at the current situation. Enox was out cold and here Ananta was, arguing with a light member. Over something petty, at that.

Tapping her chin, Ananta had a great idea. "If you give me a bit, I can create chains of light and ice that should be able to hold him down. I don't know for how long, but it should be long enough for us to decide something more long term, don't you think?" she suggested.

Gulping, Anta blushed again. Once again, he looked at the semi-healed wound Dawn had. It was half injury, half healed. Holding his crystal, he pressed it into her flesh and began to say things in a foreign language. He had a look on his face of utmost concentration. Breaking the trance for but a moment, he looked at Dawn and quickly said "Don't disturb me and try to protect me as I finish this." before going back to his previous state. All around the two, there was a cold light being pulled towards them. From the look of it, this was energy and it was fueling Anta's crystal.

The soothing rays manifested itself throughout her body as she began to slowly heal. She grit her teeth as the pain was extracting itself. She nodded in agreement with his request to defend. But she was kind of injured. It's not like she could do much other than stop, gravity, and cure. Those would have to be enough. Once the wound was mended, she lowered her shirt and gave a light smile. Afterwards, her body fell onto his as she hugged him tightly. "Thank you Anta." She pecked his cheek quickly, causing a red blush to come over her.


This girl of darkness hadn't been introduced to much of happiness or simply enjoying things in life. Maybe that is why she fell to darkness, nothing to cling to other than that of darkness. "You just need to relax miss. Try to see the bright side of things."


One circled around to the front of the man. "Did she die? Has life long been gone from her. That I cannot say. For it is I to blame yet I cant be blamed at all. Indeed your beloved Karina is dead, that is what is said. Thirteen years have passed, and those who killed her still live, simply alive. That of a boy of the night and a girl of the morning. For they are the ones who are the cause of Karina's becoming." He spoke in riddle slowly circling around him. "Show you to the killers I can, That is if you, my law-in-brother, can kill daughter and son."

If Gexln was surprised that Kel had managed to block his attacks, he certainly didn't show it. His facial expression didn't change, still locked in one of aggression and anger as Darkness' Sorrow clashed with Kel's own weapon. The moment the Nobody saw the attack coming for his head, however, his gut instinct screamed at him to get out of the way of it, so Gexln allowed himself to lean backwards and fall onto his back, which then turned into a backwards roll as the Nobody of the Dark sprang back onto his feet quickly.

The razor winds shot at Juliet quickly, but they would have to be quicker if they wanted to hit her. Nimbly, the keyblade wielder leaped out of the way of the razor winds, calmly landing on her feet as she pondered her next move. The next move was decided by Xero, however, as Xero yelled at Juliet to immobilize Sabell. "Of course I'm going to immobilize her, what else am I going to do, let her walk freely?" Juliet shouted back. She turned to Sabell now. So, now she knows we want to immobilize her. That will make it more difficult, I wish Xero hadn't said anything about it the girl thought to herself. She leaped into the air and began spinning her keyblade above her head, in a fashion similar to a chopper's blades, before slamming her keyblade down on top of Sabell in a devastating vertical strike.

Caleb didn't believe Ananta's response, not in the slightest. While the canyon was dark, he had been able to distinguish the difference between people easily, many people would also have been able to, so it wasn't likely that Ananta simply couldn't see him. However, the longer they argued, the more innocent blood was spilt. He was pissed, that much was certain, and he had lost any trust he had in Ananta, but for the moment he would play along. "Fine, do that. Bind him in the chains, and then we can figure out what to do with him" came the response, Caleb trying to make his voice sound as calm as he could.

Flopping backwards from the hug, he grasped her and his crystal tightly. Of course, that peck was surprising considering this girl was just like her mother in the sense of how...cold she could be at times. That hug continued for a bit before he sat up and looked at Dawn in the face. "You know, someday, I'm gonna make you a happy girl. Someday, you'll be really happy, alright?" he smiled. "And you'll be really surprised by it all. I mean, other than people our parents know, I've known you the longest and the best, yeah?" he questioned her.

Nodding at him, she turned to Beuce and gave him a hug before standing in front of Enox. Removing the ice, she had him lay on his back in a sort of "T" position. Stepping back, she thumped her keyblade down into the ground and knelt beside it. Placing her hands on it's hilt, she began to say a prayer. "O' bright light that pierces the darkness, I call thee. Attach thyself to this being and create strong chains that cannot be broken. Keep this being in place for as long as I may keep you in place. Keep this being from causing more bloodshed." she finished, looking at Enox. Standing up, she lift her keyblade and grasped the handle tightly, pointing it towards Enox.

Light emitted from the tip of the blade, chaining out and twisting around Enox's body and limbs. Tightening, they pushed into the ground and stuck down. Finishing off, she collapsed backwards into Beuce. Huffing, she looked at her handiwork. "That's the best I could do."

Xindai quickly gave pursuit. Lysa wasn't shaping up to be much of an opponent, but still she had to be dealt with. Using his telekinetic powers on his own body, he lifted himself into the air. His keyblade was now dismissed, he apparently intended on going hand to hand. He delivered a quick set of four punches, starting at the stomach and going upward. Immediately afterward, he used his star crystal to teleport behind her and drove his elbow at her back. ​

​

They needed to get things back on track, regroup. Most people were at the canyon, ready to be dealt with. He sent a telepathic message to Gexln, who was just about the only one not in position. And he was the most important. ​

"Gexln, don't engage him directly. Lure him into the canyon. I don't care how you do it. Throw him through a dark corridor if you have to, but the plan is coming to fruition and i need you to be present. You're going to prove you're worth my help."​

Well, so much for humor to dismiss tension. Although, now that he looked over slightly, he noticed a much bigger problem than who shot deadly magic at who. R was now going head to head with Louvel in some kind of super form that all bad guys seemed to somehow have. You know, that seems like the kind of thing someone would have noticed by this point...Louvel seemed to be holding him off for the time being, but he sent a bunch of shockwaves through the ground while R was flying, well out of their reach. Beuce face palmed and decided Louvel needed help. He re-summoned his fancy new lance Gungnir and prepared to throw it. He ran a bit closer to the battle, and chucked the lance with all his might.


"Seven Rings That Cover the Fiery Heavens: Rho Aias!" R called out. He swiped his hand and in the path of the lance, seven glowing crimson barriers appeared, one right in front of the other. The lance was a mighty weapon, but even it couldn't pierce the Aias. It broke the first petal with ease, the second followed suit. It kept going, slowing down with each layer until it hit the fifth. That was where it ended. The power of the lance wasn't strong enough to pierce further, and it fell to the ground. R didn't take kindly to interference in their fight and flew over to Beuce. It was over in a matter of seconds. R shot a rod of darkness at blinding speed into the enemy's stomach, and followed it with a blow to the chin form Dýnami̱ tou Titána, a great hammer which gave its user the strength of a Titan. The attack blew Beuce back, but his path was stopped by a fiery explosion. R executed an attack similar to a dark mega flare. Beuce lay there in shock, not knowing what happened. R turned back to Louvel. "Shall we resume?" ​

His words were soothing as he held on tight, reassuring happiness. It was like he was telling her they were in fact going to be married one day. The thought set her mind ablaze as she began to ponder where they would live, the children they would have, and simply growing old together. She soon shook the idea off knowing that her father may still be rampaging on the surface. "Anta... we need to get back. My father could be destroying everything right now."


Dusk sighed as the girl seemed to have no hope or positive out take on the world. He wish he could help her like he did Valinton, but the ability he used to reach out into the heart of another and reawaken their light was something he could not do on a regular basis. It took time to recharge and use once more. "Just try to smile, the light will find its way eventually.


He simply giggled. "Angry old man is angry at little young me. If you don't calm down you will never know the answers to your hearts plea." He slithered down acting sad about being yelled at. "Who am I you ask? You already know the answer to that, quite fast as well. Something you should know about me is I have no heart, yet still a soul. I cannot lie until I settle the score." He fade into the ground and moved on ahead, emerging soon after. "Indeed she is dead. Died not from piercing, boiling, or decapitation, but from childbirth instead." One gave off a loud childish laugh as his shadow went back into the ground, leading to Dusk, Xepphiras, and the rest.

 

The Keyblade Graveyard, the soil on which light and darkness were locked in combat. a vicious war that threatened to tear the universe asunder. And here he was, gracing the barren soil with his unconscious form. Having come to only minutes before, he mulled over each possibility of getting here. Slowly, he crept up to his fours, A splitting headache soon followed. The young man closed his eyes tight and shook his head, slapping ahand to his temple. Had his keyblade saved him? Slowly, he rose, stumbling but managed to right himself into an erect posture. He held his stomach and leaned forward, coughing profusively at the dehydration and the amount of time he slept, both were a great factor to his current condition. He was bad off but it could have been worse. "I could have been dead.."He heaved out.

Caleb watched as Ananta used the magic and chained Enox to the ground. Her magic was impressive, he would never be able to cast a spell like that. He took a few steps towards the body of Enox. On one hand, Enox had saved his life, on the other hand, Ananta was on the same side as him, or at least she claimed to. Morally, Caleb was torn apart. He didn't owe Enox anything, but there was no reason in his view for Enox to be chained up like a common criminal other than he was being labelled as a bad guy. He had harmed Beuce, but with the attitude Beuce projected Caleb doubted that there were many people that hadn't wanted to beat him up a bit at some stage or another.

He took a crouching position next to the chained body. At the very least, he would make sure no harm came to the man, whether it came in the form of Ananta or something else entirely. How long he would stay there before his morals won out and freed Enox, he had no idea, but he would try to hold the urge at bay. He looked at Ananta with narrowed eyes as he opened his mouth to speak. "Remember, no harm will come to him" he reminded her, a serious yet rough edge to his voice as he spoke.

Sabell saw Juliet try to attack, but she only parried with the Keyblade for a moment and jumped to the side as she swung at Juliet, "Oh please, you're going to have to do a lot more than that to get me on the ground!" She said with a mocking smile.

As Xero was delaying the charge speed of her attack, she looked at Sabell and remembered the times with her when she was a Somebody. They were frustrating times, but the one she remembered most was the fight they had the right before she became a Nobody..

Spoiler: Yay! Flashbacks, cause I don't know wtf to write! With lotsa background musics! It's also kind of long!

Roe had just fought off a bunch of Dusks with the weapon she had just obtained from a man named Ansem. It was a scythe that was able to channel her darkness and allow her to fight with it. Ever since Ansem somehow made her his host, she began to change and become more violent. The darkness she now wielded was slowly eating away her heart.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't my little sister. I see you're still hardly able to control your own darkness after the whole incident with the Seeker of Darkness.." Roe heard a voice behind her and turned to see her sister Sabell.

Roe gave Sabell a glare and turned around, her grip tightened around her weapon. It was true, she was hardly able to control her own darkness, but it was also rather painful to use it. A tingling feeling rose up in her stomach as anger began to build up inside. "Shut up, Sabell!" Roe snapped at her sister and it must've somewhat surprised her because Sabell then rose a brow, "I see you've also developed a bit of an attitude as well."

Sabell gave Roe a smirk as she drew her swords, "But if you can't control your darkness, then how to do plan on even living? It'll only slowly eat you away until there's nothing left. Unless you gain control, you'll only live about.. maybe.. three.. four days?" Sabell gave Roe a small laugh but Roe only growled, "Well let's see you try and control YOUR darkness better!" she shouted. Sabell took this as a challenge and gave Roe a dark look and grinned.

Sabell made a battle stance and as she did, the wind around them began to circle until it became a giant twister that closed them in, keeping either of them from escaping. Darkness began to radiate off of Sabell's blades and soon an explosion of dark aura. Sabell now had wings made of the blades of swords that radiated a black aura and her eyes were black and hollow, "Come at me!"

Roe's eyes became wide, how was her sister able to do that? When was she even associated with the darkness? Roe then swallowed the lump forming in her throat and did her own stance. But suddenly Sabell wasn't there anymore but instead above Roe coming down fast with her swords. Roe quickly jumped out of the way only to meet Sabell again while she swung her sword again, creating a dark Razor Wind.

Roe was knocked back from the attack, a gash on her side now. Roe fell face first to the ground as she landed, holding the wound that was now gushing out blood. Roe only sat there wide eyed, what the hell just happened? Everything happened so fast, she hardly had time to blink. When did Sabell get this strong?!

Sabell laughed mockingly, her voice now distorted with a watery like filter to it, "This is pathetic. I thought this would actually get a challenge! I guess this is what I get for getting my hopes up around you." Sabell began to walk toward Roe and she slowly got up as she glared at Sabell in pain.

"You think I'm gonna go down that easil--" Roe was interrupted by another Dark Razor Wind hitting her in the stomach. She cried out in pain and began gasping as blood splashed out onto the ground. Roe knelt to the ground now holding onto the stomach wound, her vision now beginning to go dark.

'You little-- Why aren't you doing anything?! Fight back!!' Roe heard Ansem shouting at her in her head, 'Get up! I'll handle things now.' Roe then suddenly felt a pain in her heart. She grabbed her chest and began to yell out in pain. Tears began forming in her eyes as she could feel the amount of Darkness being poured into her heart.

Sabell only stood there with a dark grin as she rather enjoyed watching her younger sister in pain. She was about to take another step forward but suddenly a giant pillar of darkness exploded from the ground and engulfed Roe.

Sabell's eyes widened as she saw Roe once again. Only it wasn't just Roe, she also had the Guardian behind her and her eyes were black with orange irises. She also had a maniacal grin that stretched across her face. Her scythe became a double bladed scythe and her whole body radiated with a black aura that seemed to stretch upward and dissipate in the air.

"You wanted a challenge?" Roe's voice spoke simultaneously with Ansem's, "I'm right here!" Roe's grin got even bigger as she bolted at Sabell, her speed quite possibly rivaling hers. Sabell quickly made her swords in a guarding position as Roe slammed into them with her scythe, causing her to slide backwards a few feet.

Sabell parried with Roe as she now seemed to struggle against the sudden change in strength. 'Was this why the Seeker of Darkness chose her as a host? The immense amount of darkness she possesses surpasses my own..' Sabell throught to herself with wide eyes as she finally pushed Roe back. However, Roe only came back to her with constant slashes that hit against her defending swords. They were almost never ending and Sabell felt her grip beginning to weaken.

With one final slash Roe finally broke through Sabell's defense and quickly gave her a kick to the stomach. Sabell staggered backwards and saw Roe attempt to swing the scythe at her again, but she quickly reacted by reaching her hand out in front of her and releasing a powerful blast of air that knocked Roe back quite a few feet. Roe landed on her feet and suddenly slammed the blade of her scythe into the ground, creating a giant shockwave of dark energy. Sabell only jumped high into the air, able to fly for a short time due to the wings, and she flapped her bladed wings once and sent about ten blades flying toward Roe at a high speed.

Roe then commanded the Guardian to deflect them and she reached her hand out in front of her and released multiple balls of dark energy and launched them all at Sabell. They all hit her with small explosions of darkness and Sabell fell to the ground. She stuck her sword in the ground for support and Roe began to charge up a giant ball of darkness. Sabell only sat there hardly able to move, staring at the giant ball of darkness. "I guess... You win this round.." Sabell said quietly to herself as she hung her head in exhaustion.

Inside Roe's head, she was beginning to fight against Ansem's control, 'Ansem! Stop this! You won, so stop the attack!' but the Seeker of Darkness only laughed at her, 'Foolish child.. I don't give mercy to my opponents! She will die!'
'SHE'S MY SISTER!! STOP THE ATTACK NOW!!' Roe was then finally able to break free of Ansem's control and make the Guardian and the giant sphere of death disappear. She fell to the ground onto her knees while panting.

Sabell looked up and wasn't impressed by what she saw. She weakly stood up and walked over to Roe, "You're foolish.." she simply said. Roe only looked up at her in confusion, "I knew you wouldn't be able to kill someone. Let alone your own sister.. who just tried killing YOU. This just proves how much of a weakling you are!" Sabell then dismissed the giant twister she sealed them in and walked off, leaving Roe alone and in a bloody mess of her own wounds.

Roe only sat there wide eyed as she watched her sister walk away. She just saved her life and this is how she thanked her..? After all the things she had done to Roe, she decided to save her life but Sabell only walked away after saying she's even more weak now. What had she done wrong to make her older sister hate her so much? Why was she so hateful?!

Roe sat there with tears running down her face, her fists clenched and grabbing at the grass underneath. Roe then let out a blood curtailing scream of rage as darkness engulfed her once again. She felt her heart being ripped apart by the darkness and she saw Ansem watching in front of her as he only laughed.

Then, everything went black.

When Roe had woken up she wasn't in the same place. She was in front of a gate that lead to a mansion. She slowly sat up and saw a hooded man standing in front of the gate. She then stood and walked over to him. She saw the man smile under his hood and raise his hand in front of her. Letters appeared and spelled out, "XERO".

Valinton just looked at Kaya and then at the boy, "You know, we might have been able to help him.." he said as he looked at her sadly.
