The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Anta's eyes widened in horror as he watched Dawn fall of the glider. A keyblade through the stomach and a lonely tear left on his hand, he screamed out in despair. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" was all that could be heard from this canyon. Anta gulped hard and thought quickly. There was only one thing he could do at this point.

He leaped off the glider and began to fall towards Dawn. Seeing himself not falling fast enough, he summoned his own keyglider. His keyblade armor covered him as he rode the motorcycle glider down the side of the canyon. Keeping his eyes fixed on Dawn's body, he couldn't help but feel himself cry over it.

Ananta looked at Enox, down there exactly where Anta was going. Turning her glider quickly, she shot down after them. "This is one long canyon" she thought aloud. Once she was close enough to Enox, she brought her keyblade back from glider form. Holding it, she looked at Enox. Not seeing any armor on him, either due to darkness or it not actually being there, she pointed her keyblade at Enox.

"I figured out your weakness. And I plan to fully exploit it!" she yelled out at Enox. Her keyblade erupted in icy coldness. A blast of Blizzaga erupted and shot towards Enox. She shot several times, aiming for him and also not, to make sure she either hit him or slightly grazed him.

On the other hand, Anta was too busy reaching towards Dawn's hand. Standing on the seat of his keyglider, a small rope holding him in place that he found in his backpack, he managed to grasp her hand and begin to pull her towards him. He had hopped he could bring her out of this damned canyon and try to heal her.

Caleb was falling towards the ground, falling...falling..and then suddenly..he stopped. He looked below himself for an explanation, and he noticed the aeroga stopping his descent. Whether Enox had intended to or not, he may have just saved Caleb's life. Upon hearing Enox's comments about 'dropping by' he lowered his keyblade just a little bit. "You can help me with something. You need to get out of here, to leave these people alone, they don't nee-" his sentence was cut off as a Blizzaga shot by him. Caleb barely managed to maneuver his body out of the way of the Blizzaga, but another one was on the way. He turned his head slightly to see that Ananta was shooting. "The hell are you doing?!" he yelled out. Even if Ananta was trying to hit Enox, she shouldn't be risking an ally's life.

Caleb gulped. He had freed Enox unintentionally before when he tried to attack, but if he went through with what he was about to do then he would very much be helping Enox. He had saved his life though. Using the last bit of energy Caleb had left, he summoned the wall shield and blocked five of the blizzaga shots that were coming towards him and Enox, however on the fifth shot the shield broke, Caleb's energy almost nonexistant. Panting out of exhaustion, Caleb's keyblade disappeared and he felt himself lose consciousness. In his last conscious moments, Caleb managed to glare at Ananta before he passed out completely.

 

And of course, when a nice little conversation was about to engage, a woman as cold as ice would shoot down just that. Such a nuisance. At least this kid blocked a good amount of the projectiles. It was a good chance to summon a shield of his own. "Key Shield." He stated as his keyblade grew in size to block the barrage of attacks.
"You lights are more disorganized than us. I find that hilarious." As he spoke to Caleb. Trying to take him out along side her own team mate wasn't very heroic or light of her. Much more darkness in that plan. "Whatever. Not like I care what happens to any of you. I'm only in this for reanimation, and that woman showed me its possible." A grin crossed his face as he watched the powdered ice drop down. "Lets get out of here kid--" Great, he was unconscious now. He sighed and grabbed him.
He aloud the keyblade to retract into its normal size as Enox bounced on the walls to avoid the ice blasts being thrown around. They were just endless though. Luckily, he found a cave on the wall to jump in to. However it was immediately sealed off by the ice. "Fantastic. I'm stuck in an unknown cave with some kid that potentially wants me dead... At least he'll make good eating if it comes down to it... then again... I do have those corridor's..."
He raised his hand to open it as Caleb was crouched over his shoulder. It reappeared back on top of the canyon. However... It reappeared right in front of Beuce. " **** this ".

Dawn still lied unconscious.

This was annoying. That stupid guy was protecting an enemy! It's not like she was trying to hit him. It's way dark down here and she could barely see Enox as they were falling. One last ice shot sealed a cave that he had ducked into and she made her glider reappear. Floating down to the entrance, she cast a simple "Firaga!" at the ice that had formed. Looking around inside, she noticed that there was nobody here now. All that was left was the stench of the darkness. Covering her nose and leaving the place, she looked down to see a faint glimmer of pink light. "That must be the boy that saved me..." she spoke to herself, hoping on her glider once more. "Well, he seems grown enough, I don't need to worry about him..." she said, summoning her glider once more. "Enox is my main worry. He's gotta be stopped, at least for a little while!" she said, zooming back up the canyon on her glider.

Down below, Anta had finally pulled Dawn to safety on his bike. He held her close as he used his crystal to make a sort of light that he used to find a cave deep, deep down in this canyon. Hopping off and into the cave, he sat her on the glider for a moment to make a small bed for her in the cave. Placing a sleeping bag down, he put a rolled up shirt as the pillow and then walked to Dawn. Picking up her small body, he laid her down on the makeshift bed. Taking the lantern off his backpack, he cast a "Fire!" on the wick inside. The bright fire pierced the dark cave and allowed him to finally take a good, long view of her wound.

Rolling up her jacket and then her shirt, he left it just above the wound, he saw how serious it was. "A simple cure might not actually fix this..." he said aloud. Looking at her, he gulped hard. "I gotta...take off this shirt and jacket..." he thought. Closing his eyes, he removed the jacket and shirt and set them aside. They could be mended and cleaned later, but for now, he had to worry about helping her. Opening his eyes, he did his best to not look up towards her face too often. "This is a complete lack of privacy..." he said, getting ready to try and fix her. Clasping his crystal in his hands, he prayed and then pressed the crystal into her wounds. He hoped that this would work.

Back at the surface, Ananta stood there, floating on her glider and looked at Enox. "Did you really just appear right here next to Beuce?" she laughed at him. "That's so STUPID!" she yelled, hopping of her glider and performing a Blizzard raid at Enox. She didn't care if that idiot on his shoulder got hit, seeing as he helped Enox in the first place. In the meantime, she ran over to Beuce and grabbed him, attempted to run away from Enox. She could tell he was injured greatly and could barely move. And his hair was grey? "Beuce, why is your hair grey?" she asked.

Beuce managed a weak smile as Enox and Caleb appeared in front of him, followed by Ananta. It was weak, but that cocky air seemed to have returned to him. "Stupid? You don't know the half of it." He said right after Ananta had insulted Enox. She was trying to pull him away, but he shrugged her off. His expression said that this battle wouldn't take long. "My hair is gray because apparently the gods have a death star and Panzer Dusche over here seems to have the launch codes. Doesn't feel too great. You tend to walk away with some gray hairs and wrinkles after something like that. But lucky me, i also walked away with a new toy." He grinned. Enox, if he knew what happened when you survived the light of judgement, would know what he was talking about. Beuce had received a blessing. Not just any blessing, a gift from the god king himself, Odin. He raised his left hand, in a brilliant flash, He held a 7 foot long lance. "GUNGNIR!" He yelled, because yelling what you're doing always helps somehow. With a heavy thrust, he hurled the godly lance straight at Enox.

Xindai seemed utterly unphased by everything happening around him, including the new challenger. "Hello Sabell. Your sister has told me so much about you. Well, not told me, but i got the information from her nonetheless." He taunted. Though he spoke to Sabell, the taunt was intended for Xero. "Fighting me won't be quite as much fun as you think. Choking on your own blood as your worst memories appear before you again and again is less than pleasant, i'm told." He said with a slight grin. His expression was deadly, and his gaze told that he meant everything he was saying. More than one had died before him in exactly that manner. ​

"If you believe it right, then strike at me with every ounce of power you have!" R called, his voice now deeper and more sinister, more befitting of a heartless. Yet still, his expressionless tone carried through. He raced forward so quickly it looked like he'd simply teleported. He swung a longsword made of darkness in an upward arc, but this was not one of his ordinary weapons. The darkness it was made from felt older...more primordial. As it traveled through the air, a dark wind was expelled from it, sucking the oxygen out of the area and creating a temporary vacuum. The names of these weapons no longer simply stated their manner of creation and their purpose. These were ancient and powerful techniques, only available to one who had achieved true mastery of darkness. This particular blade...a weapon which drank all the air from around it, leaving its victim choking on the nothingness...Boido no Iki, Breath of the Void. ​

Juliet turned and looked at Xepphiras, who had suddenly just questioned the other boy on how sure he was that they wouldn't turn on him. A thought came to her, one that reminded her more of the tone her mother had always spoken in, and the beliefs she held, rather than her murderous father's ideals. "Nobody needs to fight each other here. Light and dark can work alongside each other, I am living proof of that. I've accepted it, and I fight for myself rather than some belief of 'right' or 'wrong', why can't you?" she asked, speaking with much more wisdom than a girl of her age should possess. She was about to continue, but her attention was grabbed by a battle going on a short distance away.

Glancing over quickly, Juliet immediately recognized a fierce and tense battle when she saw it. She also saw Xero, who seemed to be ready to kill the boy that stood in front of her. Juliet took off without a moment's hesitation. She ran as fast as her legs would take her, and she slowed down just as she got close to Xero. "Hey, miss I-wanna-bone-juliet's-dad, don't kill that guy, there's been far too much blood shed here already!" Juliet called out, wincing at the memory of her mother's body impaled by the swords. Despite her beliefs of light and darkness co-existing, there was no power that would save her mother's killer when Juliet got her hands on him. For the moment though, she needed to try to prevent the meaningless deaths that seemed as though they were certain to happen.

As Xindai gave her a deathly gaze Sabell only laughed at his response and then grinned, "I like your attitude." She then lowered her blade and put an even more cocky grin on her face, "I say we team up and wipe out everyone here." Sabell looked directly at Xero as she held her sword over her shoulder, "Some shouldn't be too much to handle... Isn't that right Roe?" Sabell taunted Xero as well as she threw a glare at Xero that was clearly asking for a fight. Xero only glared back at Sabell, clearly tense and full of anger and annoyance.

"You were never able to beat me in our fights.. so you'll obviously just be easy to push over. I'm sure there are much more powerful beings than you here." Sabell then looked over hearing Juliet call out and running over to them. Sabell then pushed off the ground and flew towards the girl using her abilities over wind to send heself over at an almost blinding speed and swung her sword at the girl.

Xero growled at Sabell's ans Xindai's tauntings and suddenly heard Juliet call out to her. She looked over and also saw Sabell flying towards the girl and she reacted almost immediately. Xero flash stepped in front of Juliet and blocked the blade from Sabell with her scythe, causing her to skid backwards a bit from the force Sabell put into the attack and parried with her.

"You're not gonna lay a FINGER on her!" Knowing that Juliet was Gexln's daughter, Xero felt the need to protect her, especially from her sister. She knew that Sabell wouldn't hesitate to do anything, especially if anything was in her way if gaining something for herself. Sabell only gave Xero an expression of pitty, "Oh please, you and I both know you don't stand a chance against me. I was always the one to beat you to the ground in our past fights, and I'm sure I'll do the same here, only this time, you'll be lying dead in a puddle of your own blood." Xero pushed Sabell back and Sabell jumped back with a smirk. Xero then looked back at Juliet as she realised something, "Did you really just call me that?"

Valinton looked at Kaya with a raised brow. The way she spoke was slightly different than how she would speak to others, "You seem.. different.." Valinton then shook the thought from his head, "Maybe It's just me."

Juliet was surprised when Xero blocked the attack. Not just because of the speed in which she had done so, but also because Juliet had given her sort of a rough time before. Though, one good deed would most certainly not make Juliet okay with whatever it was Xero was hoping for. At Xero's realization of what Juliet had called her, the girl shrugged her shoulders. "I call it like I see it, if you don't like it then stop trying to do it" came the response, cheeky as ever.

Despite Juliet having a slight dislike for Xero, Xero had possibly just saved her life, and a debt was a debt no matter who it was that did it. She sighed. The idea of fighting alongside was one that aroused curiousity in Juliet. She would get to find out just what Xero's fighting style was like, which was interesting since she didn't see a lot of scythe wielders. She took a step forward, and mouthed a silent 'thank you' to Xero, before turning her attention to Sabell. While she didn't particularly go looking for fights, she almost never backed down from one. Juliet summoned her keyblade, Twisted Star, and then held it in a ready position. "If anyone is going to die here, it's you. Sorry, but that's the way it's gotta be" the daughter of chaos said, in a tone much like one that her father would use.

Xero rolled her eyes at Juliet, it wasn't her fault she felt the way she felt toward Gexln. She then gave Juliet a nod after the silent 'thank you'. As Juliet summoned her Keyblade Xero gave Juliet look of hesitation. She knew full well what her sister was.capable of and honestly wasn't sure how Juliet would hold up against her. But that hesitation disappeared as she spoke something like her father would say. If she was able to help save Gexln against Caleb, maybe she would be able to help her against Sabell.

Xero then turned to her sister and reached into her pocket to grab the green orb that was on her necklace before. Xero closed her eyes and the orb began to glow. It then emitted a bright green light and when light subsided, Xero's appearance changed. She had glowing green, crystal "wings" behind her and the sleeves on her shirt became much longer and torn up. The torso was a bit more revealing and her boots covered most of her legs. The green orb was sort of floating close to her chest and her scythe was different as well by taking on a similar form.

After Xero's transformation, she heard historical laughing from Sabell.

Sabell laughed hysterically as Xero changed into her Berserk Mode, "Do you really think that you can still beat me with fancy weapons and appearances?" Sabell then drew her other sword and pointed it at both Xero and Juliet while having a maniacal grin on her face, "You'll both need all the help you can get!"

Sabell then jumped high up into the air - thanks to her wind manipulation - and came down fast with both her swords aiming downward at Xero and Juliet. Xero then suddenly created multiple black spheres of dark energy and flung them toward Sabell, all beginning to home in on her at once. Sabell then changed her position while still in mid air and made a 360 degree spin, sending two Razor Winds from each of her swords at the opposing spheres. Once they made contact the spheres were simply cut in half and dissipated and Sabell soon sliced at Juliet and Xero as she descended, sending more Razor Winds at the two.

 

OOC: Sorry about the long absence, I had a lot of IRL problems to deal with. (also, the cockpit's canopy and the wing were mentioned in a much earlier post, I'm not pulling this out of my donkey)

To all others around her, save for perhaps Xindai with his mental powers, Lysa would appear to have surrendered, she floats several meters away, staring at Azurite's predicament. She bore no illusions that she would be able to use the brute force of gravity to save Azurite from the bladed weapon pressed against his back... but she was still going to try. The distraction brought on by Xero's sister was a perfect cover, now that that deadly scythe was no longer in a position to end Azurite if Xindai failed. She closes her eyes and drops to the ground, kneeling in a position of defeat even as she uses her powers to start to pull slightly against the glaive, just enough that Azurite would notice the lack of pressure. Then comes the keystone in her plan: the severed canopy of her fighter, which she had been holding in the sky alongside the fighter's wing. This came rocketing down at the same moment as Lysa yanks the glaive away from Azurite's neck, the canopy sliding down with a crash between Azurite and the blade, to serve as a buffer, allowing the man to get out of the way before Xindai could get the obstacle out of the way.

Cracks run throughout the sturdy metal and glass frame of the cockpit canopy, another hard hit and it would shatter into a thousand jagged pieces.

 

It seemed Beuce was fully recovered as well. The question is how the hell he survived and managed to be fully healed. Such a pain. First Ananta and then Beuce. Could Enox kill one bloody person and keep them dead!? Clearly not. At least Dawn would be a casualty... right? Yeah totally...

And with a throw of the mighty spear Gungnir, Enox hadn't enough energy to avoid the attack. The spear came in contact with him forcing his shields to break. He wasn't dead yet, but only unconscious.


Dawn began to fidget as the wound started to inflict pain, waking her up. She looked at Anta who was red as a strawberry as his eyes flinched up and down. She looked down to see her shirt was completely removed. Red filled her face as she jumped up and covered herself with her arms. Anger filled through her as she slapped Anta as hard as possible. Being the daughter of Karina... that was one hell of a slap. "You Pervert!" She said holding her shirt to cover herself. At least she had a bra on so not EVERYTHING was exposed.

She put the shirt back on but then collapsed back to the ground in pain. That hit from Enox was one powerful shot that she did not see coming at all. Maybe if her defense was up she'd be fine, but that wasn't the case.

With a grand slap, Anta flopped over and hit the wall. Shaking his head and rubbing his cheek, he looked in his hand to see that his crystal...was not there! Freaking out, he screamed as he tried to look for it. Wiping the ground in the dark, he finally saw the faint pink light mere inches from him. Reaching over, he almost grabbed it. That is to say, he would have grabbed it if he didn't fall down a second before. Unable to move, his eyes darted to Dawn. "D-Dawn, give me my crystal right there...! You know...how bad it is to not...have it on my persons...!" he gasped every now and again. It was like he was trying to breathe underwater. His lungs just couldn't take in any of the air.

High above, Ananta was grinning from ear to ear. She watched as the spear impaled Enox and she couldn't help but turn to Beuce with the same grin. Next thing you know, she had planted a kiss on his lips and was hugging him pretty tightly. In fact, this hug was so tight, you'd think she hadn't seen him for years! After finally letting go, she stood up and walked over to Caleb's body. Picking him up by his hair, she splashed a little "Water," magic at him and said "Why the heck did you assist Enox...?"

Caleb opened his eyes slowly, still dreary. He wasn't sure how, but somehow he had gotten to the top of the cliff...and was being held by Ananta. For a brief moment, he wasn't too worried. It was odd that she was grabbing him by the hair, but she was his ally. It was at that moment that he remembered the Blizzaga shots. Quickly he shook himself free, and he leaped across a few steps with newfound stamina. "Why did I assist him? The first time was an accident, the second time I owed him for saving my life" he replied.

A metallic sound could be heard as Caleb summoned both the blades he had been wielding before, once again surprising even himself with his regained energy. The summoning of the blades could be taken in many ways, though there was only one way that he intended. "I think the better question here is why you tried to kill me while I was protecting you" Caleb fumed.

Juliet blocked the strikes from Sabell. She wasn't ridiculously experienced in battles, but she was no stranger to them either, so blocking Sabell's attacks had been something she had been comfortable with doing. She looked at Xero out of the corner of her eye, acknowledging the change of appearance. Part of her wanted to follow suit, to tap into the chaos within, but that was dangerous and she would not do it if she could help it. Juliet could not play defensively forever though, not if she wanted to win the battle. Reacting swiftly, Juliet fired a dark firaga at Sabell, and then leapt forward and performed an overhead strike with her keyblade.

 

Kel let out a small chuckle when Gexln mentioned his allies. While he wasn't as distant as he used to be, Kel still chose to isolate himself away from everyone else. It was how he'd gotten used to fighting over the years, alone without anyone to get in his way. "They've probably done well enough without me being there. They can manage." With that he fired his own modified version of Blizzard at him, it was clear that this was the direction that their conversation was going so he decided to make the first move.

Sabell saw the dark firaga and held her hand out in front if her, creating a powerful blast of air against the dark firaga. It created a mini explosion and Sabell landed on the ground and then very quickly brought her body upward to deflect the overhead attack Juliet made and parried with her as she suddenly saw Xero come at her next, and fast. Sabell kicked Juliet in the stomach to knock her back and bent backwards, narrowly avoiding Xero's slash with her scythe. As Sabell stood up straight, Xero quickly swung her scythe at her again but only for it to be dodged by Sabell once more. However, Xero made the scythe circle around her shoulder to bring the second blade slashing downward, but Sabell only jumped out of the way.

Xero kept twisting and twirling her scythe around her trying to land a hit on Sabell. Sabell was quite surprised from the speed her sister had in this form but it wasn't too much of a challenge. She suddenly saw that Xero slashed at her with a Black Crescent beam, she was able to throw a Razor Wind at it and slice it in half, however she soon realised that it was merely a distraction and saw Xero flash step behind her and swing her scythe once again. Sabell turned quickly and parried with the blade with both her swords as Xero began to push down against Sabell and she began to push against Xero, their strength equaling out, both stuck in one place nit wanting to give the other an opening.

Xero glared at Sabell as she parried with her, "Don't just stand there, Juliet! DO SOMETHING NOW!" She demanded at Juliet to strike at Sabell, knowing that even though she's not willing to move for a possible opening, she's wide open for an attack from outside.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. You haven't seen my allies, have you? If my allies go all out, then yours will die" Gexln said. It wasn't a suggestion, Gexln believed it with every part of him. The second he saw the ice blades come at him, Gexln's mind began working quickly attempting to think of a way to avoid them. He went with his gut instinct, and fired a dark firaga straight at the blades. The firaga intercepted the ice, and after a brief moment of collision both firaga and blizzaga simply stopped, cancelling each other out. The Nobody of the Dark wasn't going to stop there though, he began running forward, holding Darkness' Sorrow out as it glowed a dark purple color, glowing with the power of darkness as Gexln swung forward with the blade at Kel's torso.

Juliet narrowed her eyes a little at Xero yelling at her to do something. She wasn't one that enjoyed being told what to do, a trait she had unfortunately inherited from her father. However, Xero was right, if there was a time to strike it was now. Juliet threw her keyblade up into the air, to where it began spinning as it floated. The girl then leaped into the air after it. With a small spin as she caught the keyblade, Juliet then hurled the weapon at Sabell, in a similar style to a javelin. This attack was no ordinary attack though, the blade itself enchanted with the power of both light and dark radiating off it as it flew towards Sabell.

Xindai waited for the opportune moment to act. He knew full well what Lysa was planning. He was constantly prying into the thoughts of everyone around him. No matter how far ahead you thought you were, you were always two steps behind Xindai. He let the boy be separated from his glaive by the canopy. It was a clever tactic. Against most, it probably would've worked too. However, Xindai knew it was coming. The second the glass made contact with the ground and cracked, Xindai forced outward a telekinetic push from within it. The now fragile glass shattered instantly, showering Azurite with glass shards and likely knocking him down from the force of the explosion. Meanwhile, there was a voice in Xindai's head. Someone was speaking directly into his mind. Not a common trait. ​

"Well One, as gracious as your offer is, i'm afraid the time for planning has since passed. I've already turned a few against each other. I barely needed to. They may as well have already lost this war." The dark creator answered.
​

Beuce briefly pondered if the tension between Ananta and Caleb was thick enough to be spread over toast. He wouldn't doubt it. However, he couldn't let them kill each other. If it came down to it, he'd side with Ananta, but he had to try to stop them. He walked out into the middle of the two of them, putting a hand toward either of them. "Guys guys guys guys guys guys....guys....guys........guys. It's my vagina." If a comment like that couldn't kill a hostile mood, nothing could.

The air-taking blade in his hand vanished as R summoned a new weapon. He raised a single hand into the air. "Curse me, O Brahm." He uttered. In his hand appeared an orb of darkness. After a second, it elongated into a large curved shape. Once it was finished, it was recognizable as a bow. This was reinforced when R summoned an arrow to his hand. He nocked the arrow and aimed the bow at the incoming beam of light. R's breathing slowed. He loosed his fingers and let the arrow fly. This was no ordinary shot. An arrow shot from the Brahmastra was a force to be reckoned with. The arrow radiated a black aura as it flew, and finally collided with Louvel's attack. The second contact was made, a massive explosion erupted outward. The two powers seemed to be evenly matched. ​

Her eyes widened as she realized what happened. Without that crystal in Anta's possession, he would die. She quickly rushed over to it, grabbed the crystal, and headed over to Anta. She placed the crystal on the palm of his hand to allow the energy to revitalize him. Those crystals were tricky and the people even trickier. "Here, Anta, please just focus and get the energy back." She panicked a bit as she spoke. The throbbing of her stomach and the worry of Anta was stressful.


Dusk smirked at her. He wanted to be a smart ass in response to her question. So he went for it. "How do I know you won't turn on me? Because I'm the white mage, and no one screws with the white mage. I'll turn you all into toads if I must." His serious expression morphed to a laugh and wide smile. "There is only one thing I can say to answer you, I have faith."

 

Lysa tries to pull Azurite clear of the shards as she sees the telekinetic explosion, her eyes are wide as she realizes that there was something far more sinister about the enemy she was facing. How... how did he know? she wonders to herself as she launches herself into a flurry of rapid, gravity-assisted acrobatics.
