The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Satsujin fortunately had the foresight to create some distance between him and Xero as she underwent her transformation. If she was going to bring out her more powerful techniques, so was he. He knelt and planted his sword into the ground. "Narukami" He muttered. The name of the technique was the same as that of his blade. An ancient family power, only usable by those with the blood of the Akechi family. A flood of glowing white petals streamed from the blade, electricity arching between them. He stood and faced the now solid black girl. She had the appearance of a heartless. The assassin was as calm and graceful as ever. The bright and glowing petals swirled around him until they raced at her on his command. But even as fast as they were, that state was known for incredible speed. It just came down to which was quicker. ​

"I'm not going to fight you, Caleb, but I'm not going to let you hurt Gexln either" Kaxar said calmly. She had her keyblade summoned, ready to fight just in case Caleb pushed it, but she preferred not to use it if she could avoid it. Unfortunately for her, she was going to have to.
"If you refuse to fight me, then you're going to fall here just as he will" came the response.

Caleb was first to strike. He rushed forward and swung his blade in a wide arc towards Kaxar. Kaxar was somewhat prepared for this, she had seen him do the same attack against her a couple of times in training. She shifted her keyblade to a slight angle to deflect the blade, and then proceeded to send a glaring beam of light rocketing towards Caleb. Caleb saw this, and the familiarity of his training with Kaxar was quickly remembered, as was the technique to avoid it. He leapt to the side nimbly and then turned to face Kaxar.

"You think this is practice? Put some effort into it before I cut it out of you!" Caleb called. He tried a similar technique as before, leaping at Kaxar once again, however he feinted the attack and instead lunged directly forward towards the girl. Kaxar saw the attack just a fraction of a second too late, and instinctively leaned to the side, causing the blade to cut right through her shoulder and draw blood. "Caleb stop, you don't need to do this!" Kaxar cried out. Caleb paused for a second, mere inches away from Kaxar. "And you didn't need to help him kill our village. All the death, all the hurt he caused, it's on your hands. You were never with us, you just wanted to use us until you could get back to him!" the young warrior spat out. Kaxar wanted to play defensively, and he did not. If she wouldn't fight him, then he would force her hand into action.

Caleb quickly summoned a blade and propelled it towards Kaxar at high speed, he then dashed around in a circle around Kaxar, doing the same thing. "This is over. Impalement of evil!" Caleb yelled as he initiated his attack and the last blade shot towards Kaxar. He expected Kaxar to block the attacks, he expected it to drive her to fight more, he expected wrong. The injury Caleb had caused on Kaxar's shoulder was too much for her to move quickly, she deflected three of the swords before the other seven stabbed straight through her center.

 

Enox watched as everyone fought. A smile gleamed on his face. The war... the beautiful blood shed. It happened so quickly and without flaw. The lights weren't even using their normal methods of speaking before fighting. This blood shed shall fuel the destruction of the weak. Darkness would get stronger.

It was his turn now to enter the fight. Who to target... there was a girl with green hair that seemed suitable enough. Enox looked to Dawn. "Girl, give me her name."

Dawn stared at the person he spoke of... she would answer him... even if this bloodshed was not what she desired at all. "That is Ananta."

"Ananta... good... I'm going to pay her a visit. You go fight whomever you please." He rushed off in the blink of an eye. He appeared right before Ananta and swung his keyblade. "HELLO!" an evil laugh followed.

Dusk saw the attack made by the creature for a brief second. He managed to block it without a moment to spare. This thing was fast. Training with his father prepared him for this situation. He could handle it. He jumped back and pointed Oblivion at the beast. "Dark Firaga!" He shouted as he cast the spell. After the cast, he charged after it, ready to swing his keyblade if the creature blocked or dodged. "HYAAAAAA!"

Xero saw the petals coming at her but she only charged through them, ignoring the fact that they were practically bombarding her with countless gashes. Xero then attempted a round house kick at Satsujin and then jumped back. As she did Xero looked over where Caleb and Gexln were and saw a rather horrific sight.

The girl Gexln knew as Kaxar was there and it looked like Caleb had just killed her. She stood there with wide eyes and almost filled with fear knowing the anger Gexln would soon feel.

"Looks like you've got it covered already." Valinton said to Kaya as he saw her and her sister fighting Louvel. Valinton saw the dark firaga and simply reached out for it with his demon hand. The dark fire was then absorbed by the demonic hand and Valinton felt a bit stronger afterwards. As the boy charged at him, Valinton let out a small laugh. This kid had guts to charge at him like he was, but would it be enough to defeat him?

Valinton rushed toward Dusk and charged his demonic hand with a dark aura. Once the boy got close enough, Valinton slammed his palm onto the boy's chest and released a lethal spiritual pulse of dark energy to attempt to knock Dusk back.

R's battle against Beuce had been a winning fight. The wielder of light was starting to wear down, yet his abilities were surprising. One wouldn't expect him to be able to do much with the impression he gave. Given time, R surely would have won the fight, but his attention was jerked away from the battle as an excruciating feeling washed over his senses. Pain shot all throughout his body, as though some force were trying to burn away his very existence. He turned to see the cause of it. In Louvel's hands was a shimmering sword, clad in an aura of golden light which formed the teeth of the keyblade. They might have stood a chance against him normally, but not with that weapon. He'd easily be able to overpower both Xapphires and Kaya. "Retreat at once! That's an order!" R yelled demandingly. Only one who was truly one with the darkness could sense just how dangerous that weapon was.​

Xindai had scarcely been paying attention to the fight with Azurite as it was. Now with the arrival of Excalibur, it was the last thing on his mind. "There it is...A purging light which burns away all else into nothingness. The holy sword of promised victory, Excalibur." He sounded ecstatic, like he'd been counting on this the whole time. ​

​

'Why run? Now more than ever you must defeat him. If you can win even while he's got that weapon on his side, it'll prove once and for all you're superior to your brother. You won't need R's training anymore." The dark creator said to Kaya through a mental link. If she fell to Louvel, it would do well to invoke R's anger.​

​

Meanwhile, he was attending to his other matters. A whirl of thoughts going in and out was in his head. First of all, Gexln's fight. He'd spared him on Inwonahé for a reason. He'd be an ally, no, a tool worthy of being used by Xindai.​

'She's gone. The last little bit of light you had, snuffed out like the flame of a candle right before your eyes. The darkness is all you have left. But there is no cause for despair in this fact. The light hindered your dark strength. Now it's free to flow through you like never before. I can help you. Darkness is my creation. Who more so than I would know it? Join forces with me, and none will be able to rival your power. Not Caleb, not Luke, not even R.'​

While this thought was being sent through into Gexln's mind, Xindai was ensuring the fight between R and Louvel would be an interesting one. From his pocket he pulled a glistening white stone, laced with the power of light. "R, if you're going to do much, you'll need this." With a toss, the last piece of the eternity stone was given to the heartless.​

​

Beuce whistled, impressed at the holy sword in Louvel's hands. He walked over and put his hand on Kaya's shoulder. "Hey, kaya, you don't mind if I trade you for one of those Excalibur things right? They're actually kind of cool." ​

​

Satsujin maintained his focus. Nothing took his attention off the fight he was in. Not the summoning of Excalibur nor the death of Kaxar. His focus was completely trained on Xero. For a brief moment, she looked away to watch what would happen with Gexln. That was the opening he needed. With blinding speed, he flash stepped to her and thrust his sword at her back. ​

Time almost seemed to come to a stop. As Xero was fearfully looking over at the brutally murdered Kaxar, she suddenly had a feeling deep down that made her rather sad. She knew that Gexln was rather protective of Kaxar, and she was practically bracing herself for how he was going to react to Kaxar being dead. But, knowing that Gexln would be upset also made her feel sad for some reason...

There was a presence behind Xero now and she only stood there and closed her eyes. She had reverted back from her Anti- Form and back to her original self. The sound of metal deflecting off of something made her open her eyes, that were now an orange color, and turn her head to see Ansem's Guardian guarding her against Satsujin's sword by merely just holding it with its hand. Xero smiled at Satsujin with a rather cocky grin, "Activate D-Link: Seeker of Darkness." she said, her voice speaking the same as Ansem's. She then turned around, the guardian still holding the blade of the sword in its hand, "Listen here," Xero said as she looked at Satsujin. It wasn't exactly Xero speaking, although Ansem and Xero were speaking at the same time, Ansem was the one speaking at the moment, "I don't think I can let you kill this girl.. If she dies, so do I. Besides, I'm the one who's supposed to kill her whenever I get out of her body.." Xero then began to levitate a few feet off the ground and she just looked at Satsujin with a smirk as the guardian then released multiple crescent shaped energy beams at Satsujin at a fast speed.

Kaxar's eyes widened as the blades went straight through her. Despite the blades impaling her from all sides, she was unable to stop herself from falling backwards towards the ground. Right as she was about to hit the ground, she felt herself stop. She looked to her side weakly, and to her relief she saw Gexln. For a moment he said nothing, just stood there in shock, and then he opened his mouth to speak. Kaxar let her keyblade fall to the ground, slipping out of her hand, as she raised a hand to Gexln's cheek.

"Gexln..please don't cry..I don't want my last memories of you to be your tears.." she said quietly. Gexln held back tears as Kaxar had requested, and right as he was about to speak Kaxar interrupted him again. "Listen to me, Gexln. Where i'm going, you can't follow. I just wanted to let you know, just once.." she continued. Gexln could no longer be silent, no longer let himself be interrupted. "Don't talk, save your strength, I'll get you to someone that can heal you!" he exclaimed. Kaxar let out a weak laugh, one that sounded like she was having extreme trouble breathing. "Look at me..I have swords stabbing right through me..I don't think healing is going to cut it..this time" the girl said, struggling for breath. "I can't let you die, I won't let you die!" Gexln cried. Kaxar barely heard the words, all life leaving her body faster than she would've thought. She touched his cheek once again, stroked it gently once. "I just wanted to tell you.." she said, as Gexln's body gave in and she found herself falling again. "I...love you" she whispered quietly.

Gexln sat still for a moment, unable to believe Kaxar was dead. His oldest and dearest friend, perhaps more than that, gone..just like that. As much as Gexln wanted to stay strong, even the Nobody of the Dark could not be emotionless forever. He collapsed next to Kaxar in a small, sobbing mess, unable to stop himself. It was then that Xindai's words came into his mind. I accept..after I have killed the one responsible for this..I will join you..I will help you with whatever you need, so long as you help me become strong enough that I never need to suffer again Gexln thought in response. He then got up into a crouching position.

The time for tears had passed, the time for vengeance had arrived.The Nobody of the Dark could think of very little he wanted to say to anybody at that point, so instead he expressed his feelings by slamming his right fist into the ground, causing an earth-shattering smash to be heard in a small area. He turned and he glared at Caleb, not with an expression that suggested anger, but one that suggested bloodlust, murder, and inconceivable rage. "CALEEEEEEEEB!" he roared as a great cylinder of darkness engulfed Gexln in an almighty explosion. Debris flew around Gexln and the area he was in, the explosion so fierce it even knocked Caleb off his feet and a moderate distance away from Gexln. The Nobody had delved deeper into the darkness within him than ever before, his power much higher than it ever had been.

Once the explosion had subsided, Gexln's skin was entirely black, blood-red eyes could be seen, and darkness itself fumed off Gexln's body. This was not the only change though. In Gexln's right hand, he held his summoned keyblade, Midnight Venture, the keyblade of darkness itself. Gexln turned slowly on the heels of his feet until he faced Caleb. "You...will...die" Gexln hissed.

Caleb readied his blade. He felt somewhat bad that Kaxar had been killed, but he had not done it intentionally. What he was about to do to Gexln was without a doubt intentional. "So this is what killed my village...this is what killed my family and friends.." he said, voice trailing off. He looked Gexln right in the eyes, returning his glare with an equal amount of determination and fury. "For all the people that you have killed, for all the lives you have ruined, you will die here Gexln!" he yelled.

Ananta looked at Annabelle and sighed greatly. "Fine, if you don't want to do anything, then stay here and be a coward! I will not let anybody I know die." she screamed at her, jumping on her keyglider and zooming off towards everyone else. Landing down, she looked around and tried to establish where the others were. Peering over, she saw a familiar streak of white hair. Sighing in relief, she noticed Louvel had summoned a second keyblade. He was a strange one, all right, but hopefully he knew how to use those.

Hearing a voice behind her, she turned in time to lift her keyblade, Fenrir, up to block a man that looked a lot like Eon. Feeling that same, strange feeling in her chest again, she raised an eyebrow at this man. "Well, glad to see I wasn't going to be left alone for too long." she smiled. Pushing back on him and his own keyblade, she attempted to push him away from her. "But please, get outta my face ya creep!" she yelled.

 

Enox smirked at her. Some memories were filling back as their blades crossed. This woman was someone important to that Somebody of his. How thrilling it would be to rip the flesh from someone so dear. He jumped back and gave a laugh. "So, you are Ananta. That weakling called you Ana, so maybe I shall as well." He snapped his fingers and the keyblade disappeared.

"I don't know what he saw in you. You were always getting in the way. You wanted to protect him and he you. Protecting someone is a weakness that gives your enemy a chance to kill. I think I'll remove his weakness by getting rid of you.... Ratatosk hear my message. Send me the will of Yggdrasil to plant my roots." A light began to form around Enox. It vanished but left an armor that resembled that of tree, strong and sturdy, unable to reach its core.

"You see, my keyblade is this armor. I can take your attacks, but can you take mine?" He planted his feet to the ground and charged at her with his fists. His intention was for blood, to kill the friend Eon held dear.


Dusk rolled away from him in an effort to escape his powerful attack. It was just barely though. A slight scratch was left on his cheek. "Okay. Note to self. Magic is a no. At least magic that will damage him." He thought to himself. He was trained for this wasn't he. His father taught him everything there was to fighting. So he should be able to win this, right?

He turned around and charged at him. "Poison Edge!" He yelled swiping at him. "Show me your true form you coward. I see right through that disguise."

Watching as he made his keyblade disappear, she attempted to strike him. However, he was able to get away before she could cause even a dent. Listening to him rant about protection, among other things, she scoffed at him. "You may think that's weakness, but that's caused me to get through many different hardships." she spoke out. Processing everything he said, she finally felt overwhelming sadness deeply inside her. She finally knew what had happened and who this guy was.

"You...you're...Eon's nobody...?" she spoke, words spilling out of her mouth like water. Tears filled her eyes as she glared at this man. "Okay...okay...Eon's dead....I get it....but if I defeat you...then...then his heartless....I can restore him...I think." she spoke to herself. Raising her keyblade and watching his armor appear around him, she smirked. "Of course I can hurt you. Wood's only as strong as the will of the one using it!" she yelled as she rushed at him, swinging multiple times at him.

Time seemed to slow down for Caleb as he glared at Gexln. This was it, this was his chance. After years of suffering and torture, this was his opportunity to end it and bring down the one responsible for it. He had lost before to Gexln, he knew, but that was different; this was not only to protect his friends but also all of the worlds. A monster such as the one that stood before him would not stop killing once it got a taste of blood, so he would give it the blood of itself.

At the same time, Gexln, or whatever remained of him, was returning Caleb's glare. This was the man that had dared to challenge him, that thought he was stronger than him, and most importantly this was the man that had taken Kaxar away from him. Kaxar's death would not be in vain, he wasn't going to let her die for nothing. She wouldn't want him to fight Caleb, she would want him to run, but he could not do that; not while Caleb was still breathing. Darkness coursed through Gexln's veins, pumping faster and faster than it ever had before; he had never been as deeply submerged in darkness as he was at that moment.

Caleb was the first one to make a move. He began running towards Gexln. As he ran he summoned another japanese katana, so that he now wielded two. Twice the weapon-power for twice the effectiveness; he would need to end this quickly if he was to stand a chance against Gexln. As he got close to The Nobody of the Dark, he span in a circle and lunged forward with both of his katanas, using the momentum to speed up the attack. If he had expected the attack to land, to simply end the battle like that, he was very much mistaken. Regularly Gexln was quite agile; in the state he was in then however he was much, much harder to hit.

The attack struck nothing but the air where Gexln had previously been. Gexln himself was up in the air, coming down from above with a skull-shattering kick. Caleb saw this just in time and blocked it with both of the katanas, to which the Nobody responded by simply leaping off of the katanas and landing easily on his feet. There was no pause though, Gexln was on the offensive immediately. He rushed forward with such speed Caleb barely had time to blink and uppercut Caleb with enough force that he was knocked into the air.

The uppercut was merely the beginning though, as several dark corridors began to open up around Caleb and he found himself being punched several times as Gexln emerged from each one, knocking him higher and higher into the air. When Gexln had finally hit a large distance, he appeared on top of Caleb again through the use of a dark corridor, and came down with a crushing kick that sent Caleb skyrocketing towards the ground. As he hit the ground, the land around Caleb cracked slightly from the sheer force he had been hit into the ground with. Caleb lay on the ground for a moment, agonising pain flowing through him, before he finally stood up. He turned and looked at Gexln. He was onto him now. While Gexln's movements were extremely fast, his rage made him predictable.

Caleb spat a little blood onto the ground next to him and then met Gexln's look. "You think Darkness is so great, you think you're all that and that's what's going to win you this fight? Get over yourself, Light will never fall to Darkness" he said. Gexln scoffed and pointed a single, dark claw at Caleb. "You're the one to talk about darkness, you just killed your ally" he retorted. Caleb looked over at Kaxar's body now. "And I regret that, but it's not going to prevent me from stopping you!" he shouted.

Xindai turned to face Azurite, who demanded his attention. His multicolored eyes had a gaze that seemed to pierce all your defenses. It laid everything you had raw and bare, then decided the best way to turn it against you. Honestly this urchin was starting to annoy him. "Be careful what you wish for boy, it might just come back to haunt you." Using his telekinetic powers, his glaive was thrust into the air along with three illusionary ones. Tricks of the mind. All of them were thrust at him, each from a different direction. He still had several others he could recruit to his cause. Enox, Dawn, Xero. He could use all of them to his advantage. Although for now, there were insects to be crushed beneath the heel.​

Satsujin was rather surprised. His attack which would've been a sure kill was stopped by a massive dark entity. He'd heard of this creature. "The Guardian" as it was called. It was the manifestation of the darkness in one's heart. His blade wasn't made to handle the stress of being wrested from the hands of such a creature. It was a katana, and would break under the strain. The only thing he could do was let go, and so he did. Releasing his hands from the blade, he flash stepped backwards, narrowly avoiding a head on hit from the energy blades in place of a scrape on his arm. He was unflinching at the pain as blood trickled down to his hand. For the moment he was out of the immediate range of the girl. No, this was no longer the girl he had been fighting. She was a worthy opponent, one of the dark, but this was different. A far more malevolent presence drowned out hers. This was someone else entirely. His electric petals surrounded him, so he wasn't entirely defenseless, but unless he reclaimed that sword, defeat was certain. ​

If R was surprised that Xindai has given him the final piece of their trump card, he didn't let it show. He remained as straight faced as ever and caught it. It burned his hand momentarily, but was soon neutralized by the dark cornerstone in his pocket. He quickly drew the two and placed them together. Now the only thing left to do was place the two half stones together and the eternity stone was in his grasp. However, Beuce didn't seem like he was going to let that happen. R managed to dodge a fire raid from behind, but it caught his hand and forced him to drop the halfstone.​

"I'll take that!" Beuce said, dodge rolling onto the stone and picking it up. "Dunno what this thing does but it's reaaaally powerful. even I can tell that. So, you know, I don't think I want you to have this." Beuce mocked. In hindsight, that may not have been the best idea. A hailstorm of onyx black weapons rained down on him. swords, spears, axes, whatever kind of weapon you could think of, if it was sharp and point, it was trying to kill him. Beuce climbed atop his motorcycle-like glider and began riding away through the storm. ​

"Betcha can't catch me!" Beuce called back, mocking his pursuer. However, R was indeed very near him. His dark assassination mode granted him flight and quite a bit of speed. He was chasing after him, weapons flying. Beuce pulled some kind of crazy advent children stunt and swerved his motorcycle around, deflecting blows as he somehow didn't tumble and crash. He glanced over to see Ananta fighting a nobody who looked suspiciously like a tree. He hoped she saw him being awesome and taking on the leader by himself. ​

 

Right after Ananta left, Annabelle had managed to get her armor to herself. She sighed. She let everyone down, just like she figured she would. But now that she had a ride, she figured she could head over and help everyone. "Hang on everyone! I'm coming to help!"

The Guardian had the katana in its hand and handed it to Xero and she looked at it with a rather impressed expression, "Hmm.. Nice sword." She said as she looked at Satsujin a bit mockingly. She was still in control if her mind, and she wasn't going to let Ansem take over. She only made the D-Link with him to block the attack from Satsujin. "Terminate D-Link: Seeker of Darkness..." she said. The Guardian disappeared and Xero just stood there holding Satsujin's sword. She then looked over at her scythe and walked over to it and cautiously picked it back up. "I'm not going to be that one person who fights someone unarmed..." She said as she threw the sword to Satsujin's feet, "But now I'm not going to hold anything back."

Xero looked over to Gexln and saw that he wasn't himself at all. Although she was rather worried, she couldn't lose focus like she did earlier. Xero then looked back at Satsujin with a determined look, "Activate D-Link: Nobody of the Dark!" Xero said as she then let herself be engulfed in darkness once again and become an Anti-Form.

'Gexln..' Xero spoke to Gexln through the D-Link, 'Please calm down.. I need to borrow your power.. the D-Link won't last very long if its unstable by emotional reasons..' She tried to choose her words wisely, for she knew that if Gexln became angry with her, the D-Link wouldn't last long at all, 'Please..'

Valinton ducked down from Dusk's Keyblade and swept at his feet. He then only looked at the boy with a bit if a surprised look. He knew what he was talking about but decided to play dumb, "Disguise? What're you talking about, boy?" Valinton said as he then tried stabbing him afterwards, "I am nothing more than what you see now..

Ooc: Don't exactly know if you can do that with a D-Link but whatever.

 

Lysa's Gumi fighter comes around in a tight banking turn, most mortal pilots would have passed out from the G's that she was pulling, but her gravity-based powers helped to keep the blood flowing into her brain, cancelling out the darkness that had started to creep in on the corners of her vision. The pilot's eyes narrow as she spots a moving carpet of blackness not far away from the main battles: an army of heartless... they didn't appear to be attacking anyone yet, but the fact that they were there was bad enough.

Lysa's fighter had a quadruplet of wing-mounted cannons, which might as well have been small-arms fire in a space battle... but the laser cannons would class well into the 'heavy weapons' category for any land engagement. They were almost too potent to use, for fear of shrapnel hitting her allies... so there was no way she could target any of the more powerful Nobodies, Heartless, and other high-profile Dark users, they were all far too close to the Lights; however, the army of heartless was plenty far away for Lysa to put her talents and machinery to use... and she was more than ready to.

The cannons mounted on the Gummi-fighter's wings glow to life as they begin to alternate shots, a brilliant flash accompanied by the solid chugging of each cannon as it launched armor-piercing energy projectiles down at the heartless. Each round tore a gash into the ground, as well as causing a small explosion. Lysa's strafing run wasn't that long, but as she pulls up into a loop she doubts that her fire had been insignificant. A quick glance at her statistics shows that she has more than enough ammo for another pass... maybe even two.

With her face set in a line of determination, the young pilot brings her fighter into a gentle bank that would allow her to come in from a new angle and wreck more havoc on the army of heartless.

Gexln heard Xero's voice in his head, though as to why he wasn't sure. That is, he wasn't sure until he heard her mention the D-Link. Calm down? You want me to calm down? HE MURDERED HER. She's dead, Xero. Dead. I have no problem with you, but don't even think about telling me to calm down while her murderer still breathes Gexln thought in response. His anger being fulled more and more by the second, Gexln glared at Caleb once again.

The two dashed at each other again, their blades both crossing in an almighty clash that harmed both of their ears. However, neither of them faltered in the slightest, both warriors grimly determined to defeat the other one. It was Caleb that broke away first. He leapt back and summoned a blade, just a small dagger, and threw it right at Gexln. The dagger flew through the air swiftly and true, and right as it neared Gexln the Nobody simply caught it in mid-air due to his godlike speed. A savage grin appeared on his face, and Caleb didn't like that one bit. "You're throwing away such a perfectly good dagger, one that's perfect for killing. Here, you should keep it" Gexln said, hurling the dagger back at Gexln.

Caleb, in response, quickly summoned another dagger and launched it at Gexln again to stop the first one, he then summoned a short sword and launched that at Gexln, who caught it and threw it back at Caleb. Over and over again the two repeated this, Gexln using his supreme speed to catch them and Caleb using his power to launch more, until at last Gexln broke through and dashed at Caleb, merely dodging the weapons hurled at him and created two dark orbs in his hand. As Gexln got nearer and nearer to Caleb, the dark orbs got bigger and bigger until both of them enveloped his arms. He then spun around extremely quickly and launched them at Caleb. The attack, while extremely flashy, was simple to block. Caleb did so with both of the katanas. He blocked the attacks, but due to the force behind them he was left open momentarily.

Right as his guard was down, Gexln was on him like a hawk. The Nobody of the Dark dashed right around Caleb and kicked him in the back, right where Lysa had kicked him earlier. The impact wasn't quite as severe, but it certainly hurt. Caleb was sent sprawling onto the ground in front of Gexln. The darkness wielder wasn't done yet though, as he dashed over and raised his dark keyblade in the air as he ran, preparing to strike Caleb while he was down. Caleb reacted swiftly, using Gexln's own momentum against him and kicking him into the air, sending him crashing over to the ground.

 

He gave an intimidating smirk. "Yes, wood is only as strong as that in which It is made. My will will not be broken." Enox continued to bash at Ananta's keyblade hoping to break through and deal critical damage to her herself. He didn't even care to block. He was confident that his armor was strong enough to withstand whatever she was going to throw at him... if she knew what its weakness was however, then trouble may brew. Most would assume such to be fire, but this was blessed by the god Yggdrasil. The only thing that could purify it was ice. "You can try all you like but I shall claim victory and gain what I and he desire."


Dusk blocked with Oblivion and performed a counter. With that he jumped back. "Hm. I see. You are like the rest of darkness. Filled with nothing but lies to cover a shameful story. Let me be the holy water to your curse." He rose his keyblade up and began to cast. "STOPOGA!" He shouted casting it on him. "My father was known for his defense. My mother her strength. My sister he combination of the two... but me... I was blessed with Magic." He grinned.

"Big words for a weakling such as yourself." she spoke, jumping back. She looked at his armor and saw that it was made of wood. Most woods are damaged by fire. Understanding this, she pointed her blade towards him and yelled "Firaga!" loudly. Great fire had formed around her and the tip of her keyblade. A large orb of fire burst from the keyblade and flew towards Enox. She herself ran behind the orb to try and strike him as he was either blocking or getting damaged by this magic. "I am a master mage, you know. I have every spell at my disposal. I'll eventually find a weakness!" she snarled at him, sharp teeth bared.

Off on another world, a boy is rushing around his room. He's gathering things into a backpack. From potions to crystal shards in bottles, he seemed to be getting ready to go on a long journey. Somewhere downstairs, a woman could be heard speaking with a man. What they were saying was inaudible. Looking in the mirror, the boy combed his familiar green hair. A crystal shone around his neck that blinked a few times before dimming out. "Ugh, stupid crystal. Got a mind of your own and only activates when it wants to. What am I gonna do when I need you the most?" he retorted at the crystal.

Turning around, he grabbed the backpack and swung it over his shoulders. Rushing downstairs, he saw his parents were still talking to themselves. They stopped when they saw him arrive. "Okay kiddo, ya know how your mom says you need this journey? Don't die, okay?" his father chuckled. "Of course, with parents like us, you certainly won't die too easily!" he added. The boy's mother glared slightly at his father before punching his father's arm. "Dear, don't say such things to him, he might get scared and not want to go." she sighed deeply. "However, Anta, you know that we cannot go. Once we married, I knew I wouldn't be able to ever leave this place. And I'm sure your father knew he wouldn't be able to leave either." she looked over at him. "Don't look at me, it was a surprise to me too." he jabbed at her. Staring at him for only a moment before shaking her head, she looked at the boy. She began to speak with him about other things, such as preparations as well as fighting techniques. Of course, his father tried to interrupt many times. Luckily, some of the things he said actually made sense.
