The Final War, Light Vs Dark

"Scarfy?" Gexln asked, somewhat confused. He looked down slightly. Even though he was wearing an Organization cloak, he could still barely see a small black scarf wrapped around his neck. "THAT'S the best you came up with?" he taunted. He decided to comply with what Xero had asked, and placed the stone back into the pocket of his coat. There was no sense in torturing the girl, even if it did amuse Gexln slightly. It was then that Gexln noticed a presence. A powerful presence. Not one of R's strength, but one that reminded him of someone. He spun around to see a figure standing there.

The man, Enox, shared the same dark signature as that of the note. Something told Gexln that it was not simply coincidence. "So, you're the guy that wrote the note huh? Wanna share that secret of true power yet, or do I have to force it out of you?" he asked. He wasn't going to show any fear of this man, not that he had any, and he wasn't going to beat around the bush.

Caleb was enjoying watching the battle between Satsujin and Kaxar. Kaxar's skill with the keyblade was growing at a tremendous rate, the girl may even have been able to hold her own against Caleb if she had to, thankfully he wouldn't have to find out though. As he was analysing her combat techniques, he couldn't help but notice that there was another set of eyes watching the battle other than his own. He got up and quietly walked over to Dusk. "Hey there, are you here with Eon and the other newcomers? I don't believe we've met" Caleb greeted, introducing himself.

Xero just looked at the man who approached Gexln. She squinted her eyes some as he looked very familiar. ...Eon? She stood up and brushed herself off and walked over next to Gexln. Gexln seemed to be threatening the man and she gave him a glare, "You're really going to threaten someone you just met?"

​

Valinton felt around his jaw more and noticed Kaya looking at him and she asked for his name. He stuck his hands in his jacket's pockets, "It's Valinton.." He spoke with a slight smirk, "I don't exactly know what this war is about.. but I'm here for my own reasons.." his expression turned.dark as he thought of the one who trapped him in the realm of darkness, Xindai.

"Do not falter." Said R as they shadow of Sapphire appeared. "I will not forsake you. You can defeat this phantom of yourself." The heartless encouraged. His eyes darted around the platform. It was growing dark. Her heart was fading into the darkness. At this point, it was too late for her heart. However, he could salvage her mind to create her nobody. He didn't tell her this though, she needed to focus on the battle. Keyblade in hand, he was ready to aid her if she needed it. ​

Satsujin gracefully weaved around the beams of light, seamlessly switching between rotation of clockwise and counter-clockwise as needed to avoid it. Although as fast as he was, he couldn't avoid everything. While the beams of light were dodged, the Holy Raid was able to hit its mark. Raising his katana to defend against it, the weapon was knocked out of his hands and lay on the ground a few feet away.His hand stung from the attack. ""Very good. You're making progress." The assassin slowly walked over and picked up his weapon. It surprised him just how much defensive capablities he had sacrificed. He wouldn't be able to take many hits, so if he was going to win in a battle, he needed to not get hit. ​

 

Garnet immediately clung to annabelle as they too began to be teleported. "Whoa! What is this!?" she cried out. Where they going to the same place as Ananta? If so, where were they going? Would Ruby be there too? "Annabelle! Don't let go!" Garnet was scared. She had just found her little sister, and they were all together again, as much of a family as they could be.

"I-I won't! We'll stay together!" Annabelle said, as they both disappeared.

"...Um... What the hell just happened!?" Neku said.
Luna stood there, eyes wide. "I don't know... I just-" Suddenly, a light enveloped her too. "Oh great, me too!? Neku, tell Ruby what happened! Tell her we'll all be back! Even if we hate her!"

Neku stood there, eyes open in horror. Was Joshua doing this? Suddenly, he heard Shiki call out "Neku!" and turned to see her running toward him. "Shiki! What happened? Did she-?""Yes! I don't know... It just scared me..."
"They'll be okay. They're tough enough." Neku replied, still a bit unsure.

Kaxar stopped attacking as her keyblade came flying back towards her. She caught it with ease, but was shocked. Had her attack actually disarmed Satsujin? She hadn't thought she'd be able to do that. "I-i'm trying my best" she stammered, trying to get the words out. "Does this mean we're done with training?" Kaxar asked. She was enjoying learning new techniques and getting used to combat, she felt she was learning quickly.

Satsujin turned back to face her. "Well that's up to you. If we stop now, we might not get another chance before the war. It's approaching fast." Said the assassin. He was more than ready to either continue or stop for the moment. The war was approching fast...that was an understatement. Of course R would be there. He was the enemy leader. Satsujin just questioned whether or not he could defeat him. ​

 

Enox grinned at Gexln. He wanted to know what true power was? Then maybe showing him would be best. He vanished at the blink of an eye and appeared right in front of Gexln grabbing his neck and lifting him up. "You want true power, than you must learn to be patient." He released his grip. If Gexln fell to the ground, that would be just alright. "Now, we wait for that other guy to wake up from his little trans."


Dawn's eyes widened when she heard Micky say something about Eon. "You mean my father is here?" She said with excitement. "He is the reason I and my brother came here."


Dusk looked over at the man who came over to him. "Yo. Name is Dusk. And no. I'm here with my sister looking for my father, in others words Eon."

Xero flinched as Enox suddenly appeared in front of Gexln. When he lifted him up from his neck she was about to summon her weapon but he released him before she could. She gave the man a suspicious glare and then spoke, "If you're the one who sent that note to all of us of the dark, what is your motive for the war?" She asked. From his display just now, she already disliked this guy. Who did he think he was? Tch.. if he tries anything funny like that again, he's gonna lose that arm of his... and quite possibly his life.

Opening her eyes, she looked in front of her. This place was weird. And her being just teleported there, she looked around. In front of her was King Mickey. "Your Majesty!" she gasped as she knelt to one knee. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude!" she said quickly. Standing back up, she turned around and looked at the other girl in the room. She looked really young and really naive. Placing her hands on her hips, she got the slightest feeling that this kid is familiar in some way.

"Who is this child?" she asked, rather abruptly, a small worried look on her face. "I don't think she's even old enough to be out past her bedtime."

And then her gaze averted over to a familiar face. "K-Kel, what...what're you doing here?!" she said in astonishment.

Gexln's eyes widened in shock as Enox appeared to teleport right in front of him, moving faster than the human eye could see. He felt himself being lifted off of his feet, felt the difficulty to breathe setting in. Enox spoke of true power, of being patient, before finally releasing Gexln. Gexln collapsed on the ground, sweet, luscious air filling his lungs once more, causing the pain in his neck to subside rather quickly. He coughed a couple of times. So that was how he knew of 'true power', he had already obtained it. The Nobody of the Dark glared daggers at Eon. You've just made a powerful enemy, and no amount of power is going to prevent me from ripping your spine out of you, he thought to himself grimly.

As Kaya commented on Enox's besting of Gexln, it was now she that he glared at. "I would send you into a dark corridor and leave you in the dark realm, but I don't think R would like that very much. Lucky you" he responded, shortly before Xero asked about Enox's motive for the war. She raised a valid point. If the guy was as powerful as he both seemed and claimed to be, why on earth would he need their help? And how would he compare to R if the two got into a fight?

Kaxar nodded in response to what Satsujin said. "No, I think we should continue training. I've gone too long without knowing how to fight properly, with this war coming up I think i'll need all the strength I can get. I'm not going to stand by and watch as others are taken by darkness, I'll be the one to free them of it" Kaxar responded, determination evident in her voice. She held her keyblade in front of her with a surprising amount of confidence. "I hope you're ready!" she called out as she threw another Holy Raid at him.

"Looking for Eon you say? He was around here a short while ago, he may have gone off to see The King" Caleb replied to Dusk's response. He looked the young boy up and down, he did not appear to be a great warrior or anything of the sort. "You know, word is that there's going to be a war soon. A war is no place for a child, did you need a hand getting back to your home?" he asked genuinely.

 

The door to Beuce's room flung open abruptly at the mention of Karina. "Karina. Armed guards, now." He began shaking Mickey violently by the shoulders. "FOR GOD'S SAKE MAN DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT KARINA DOES TO ME?!" After looking around and realizing she was nowhere to be seen, he stopped shaking the mouse. "Oh. My mistake. Her daughter eh? Well that...you know may be slightly less threatening. Just don't punch me." He said to Dawn, as though he seriously expected the child to deck him with the force of a freigh train. It was then that he calmed down from the fear of Karina and noticed his old companions, one of which he'd been particularly close to. "Ananata, Kel! Heeeey" He called to them. "How have you guys been?"

Kaxar wasn't holding back with that Holy Raid. Good, she shouldn't be. She was improving fast, so Satsujin needed to step up his game. Tearing off the sheath, a bright white lightning arched off the sword in every direction, almost completely blocking the blade from view. With a mighty swipe, his blade connected with Kaxar's. Light and electricity flew to the the sides, but it the end, he deflected Kaxar's blade into an arch back at her. Purely out of instinct, he began an assault. A small orb quickly collected at the tip of his blade. With powerful magic, a wave was cast over everything, stopping time utterly for a brief moment. Lethal Frame, as it was known. Unbelieveable speed guided the assassin in a sprint to his opponent. He stopped, his blade half an inch from between the girl's eyes. Time unfroze, and a second later the sound of metal being planted in the ground was heard. Her keyblade landed. A small crackle of lightning ran down the blade. The assassin let out a deep breath, apparently having been holding it the entire time. "It appears that our awakening did indeed grant us new skills."​

The heartless caught Sapphire as she fell. The darkness was beginning to completely take the station of awakening. Her heart was lost. R regretted not being able to help her, but it was too late. He took her "body" and left the place. Regaining consiousness, he looked at the two girls fighting nearby. He heard one say something about taking her freedom. "Hmph. You are mistaken. I have taken nothing from her. She was afraid, having no one to believe in. I have given her that. It is you who is taking from her." R said, picking up and reading the nearby note. So, another wanted to push themselves into the leader's seat. If he was to have the desired goal at the end of this war, He needed to stay the leader. His train of thought was broken as a pink heart floated out of Sapphire's chest, disappearing into the darkness of the air. Solemnly, R picked up the unconsious Sapphire and opened a dark corridor to the castle. "You have two options, follow after us and perish, or go to the Mysterious Tower and help those of the light." He said to Lysa, walking through. The other girl would be allowed to follow, being of the dark. ​

 

Xara was going to have another word or two with this chick of the light. Chick-aaaaaaan. But then Xara heard the voice of the man before and looked over her shoulder and away from the girl. "Oh hey! You're back! Good, this girl was getting on my nerves." Xara could see that the other girl was unconscious know, probably resting after her big ordeal. Darkness was not to be trifled with, and to newcomers like Sapphire, it would sap her strength. She listened to what the guy had to say and then put a hand on her hip. "Yeah! What he said. Besides, I wasn't here to kidnap. Psh, you think all of us darklings go around and kidnap people. Sheesh. And well, like he said..." Xara smirked and then followed after the dude, waving to the chick that was trying to really fight her. "Well, see ya later gator! Have fun blinding people with your obnoxious light." She then hurried up to catch up with the other guy, walking along side of him through the dark cooridor. She still had her katana out, just in case the strange one decided to try anything. "So is she going to be okay?" Xara asked, looking over at Sapphire who was in R's arms. "By the way, the name's Xara. Hot-firey purple haired chickadee at your service."

Keiko smiled as the offer was granted for her to stay so long as she could regain her memories. But she had a feeling if she stuck around here all the time, she wasn't going to get anywhere finding out who she was. She looked up when more people came in, raising her eyebrow as she looked at them. Did she, um, know them? She scratched her head again before putting her hands behind her back and whistled to herself. They didn't seem to notice her anyways, so she guessed they didn't know who she was anyways. ....Where was she again?

 

Enox felt the glares coming towards him. That was good. What better way to release the darkness of others than to create hatred. Only with pure hatred and anger could true darkness be awakened. "Good, you are angry at me. Let it out. The more angry you become, the more darkness shrouds you; the more powerful you become."

He looked toward Xero who asked him about his motives. "I wrote my motices within the invitation I sent around. To plunge the world into darkness. To make a world where only the strong can survive. Let natural selection and survival of the fittest take its roots and destroy the weak. Only the strong can survive. With that, we can create a new generation in which the world has never seen. Those who wield that of light are a threat to this ideal. They must be purged into the netherworld.

He gave a dark chuckle to the idea and looked over at R's body. "Once the strongest wielder of darkness rises rom his slumber, we shall create the army to purge those of light.


Dawn looked over at Beuce and began to laugh at him. She found him funny. So far, she liked him a lot. "You're a funny guy Beuce. I wonder why Mommy didn't like you." She said with another giggle. Her attention then went to the others. "My brother and I came here for a reason. We felt our father's presence disappear. After that... well..." She flicked her wrist an Oathkeeper was summoned. "We got these weird key sword things."

Dusk smirked at him. "I think I can help you guys. My father is Eon after all. My mother apparently was some top shot wielder as well. Karina was what my father called her." He flicked his wrist to summon oblivion. 'Yeah, I got this thing too."

A familiar voice rang in her ears as she turned to see the same old silver haired dork. Twirling a bit of her hair, she stood there as he did his usual thing. Her face had softened immensely than what it was before. A small grin stretched from ear to ear as she stepped towards Beuce. Wrapping her arms around him, she embraced him tenderly. More commonly referred to as a hug. She nuzzled her head into his shoulder. "Beuce...it's you, right...?" she asked him. "At least I found some of my friends in this world..." she whispered.

Pulling away from the hug, she stepped back. "Now, can anyone get me caught up? Where are the others? And how does Flora and Karina have kids?" she asked. It's true, it's only been a few months at best since their last adventure together, so it's not like they've had time to birth kids as old as they were. Unless some serious magic was going on.

 

Unsurprisingly, Ananta immediatly came up and warmly hugged him. Wrapping his arms around her to return the hug, they stayed like that for a moment. On their last adventure they had been...well together romantically. "Alright don't get too mushy on me. There's people here."He said, although his tone made it not insensative. Next he addressed her question. "You think that's wierd, Eon is the father. And yeah i dunno what happened with that. I mean you and me are still the same age. I had an explanation but apparently that's silly and needs to be a better one."

"You sent this note i presume?" said R as he layed down Sapphire against the wall. He looked around at the group. It seemed they were all there aside from Ruby, but they didn't have time to find out what happened. The war was going to start soon, so they needed to be as prepared as they could be. "Gexln, the stones"​

 

Lysa stares after R and Xara, then shakes her head, "the damn bastards," she mutters, then turns and runs back toward her ship, convinced that Sapphire was in mortal danger, and that there was no way she would be able to take on the two Darklings on her own... she had to make a choice, Run away from the whole mess, or get help... from the only place that she knew was capable of that sort of help. The girl pounds her fist on the dashboard of her ship as she climbs in and seals it up.

Moments later she roars off into the sky, toward a group that she considered to be almost as bad as the Darks... The Lights.

 

"Yeah, it is," Garnet snapped loudly, "Grow up and stop acting delusional you blithering idiot."

"Jeez Garnet, calm down..." Annabelle thought.

"Honestly, Mother told me you were silly, but she did you a favor and sugar coated it. You're lucky you stopped hitting on Luna last time, because honestly, I was ready to pop you one in the mouth right then and there, hot shot."

"Beuce, spare us PLEASE!" Ruby chimed in from behind. Apparently she had been summoned here too.

Luna yelped, and hid behind Garnet, "Get him away from me! He'll hit on me again! I don't like him..."

Garnet comforted her friend.

"Oh dear..." Annabelle thought. She stepped toward Beuce and turned her back to him, then looked at her allies. "Guys! Chill, okay?" She cleared her throat. "I know he's stupid, and dumb, and immature, and mentally unstable, and has a weird imagination, and is an insensitive prick that will do anything to get some, and-" She stopped, looking at everyone. They all had faces that said 'I agree wholly'. "Okay, you guys get it. My point IS..." She smiled at Beuce, then turned back to her sisters. "He's an ally. He doesn't have my respect yet, he has to earn that, but remember what mom taught us?" She turned to Garnet and Ruby.

"...Even in the lightest of days, we all need help..."
"Everyone deserves it, annoying or not..."
"They need to earn respect, sure..."
"But at the end of the day..."

"We're all in this together." Annabelle smiled, and noted her sisters doing the same.

Luna sniffed. "That was beautiful girls..." she said.

"So see? He helped us, and probably didn't want to, so we should help him. If not because it's him... then because mommy raised us properly and taught us never to abandon our allies. Her friend Karina didn't like her ant first, but she helped her anyway! And because of that, mommy grew and matured. So let's do it for mommy, yeah?"

Ruby nodded. "If Garnet can keep up."
"You bet I can."

Annabelle turned to Beuce, "And you. Cut the crap. Be alert, pay attention, and don't think me sticking up for you means 'I like you, let's be bffs and you can hit on my sisters and Luna and all the other girls', alright? You're an experienced Keyblade Wielder, so act like one. Otherwise, you won't be much more than a mediocre disgrace."

Garnet stood, shocked.
"Wow." Ruby uttered, both proud of her, yet frightened at everyone's reaction.

Xero turned her head and saw R. She had a relieved look on her face knowing he was alright after he suddenly left back at the door to the past. She began to walk over to his direction and before she past him she quickly and quietly said, "That guy is rather suspicious to me.. I don't know if we should trust him." She then walked over to Valinton after.

​

Valinton eyed the heartless that entered the room and immediately knew that he was R. He saw Kaya rush over to the girl he set down and he raised a brow. As Xero came over he asked, "So I'm guessing that's your leader, R?"

"Yes.. and that other creep is obviously trying to take his place as our leader... I don't like him... His movtive is for the destruction of the weak and for a world of darkness.." Xero's expression was dark as he continued to glare at the man.
