The Final War, Light Vs Dark

As the man was about to attack Gexln, Xero took the opening and rushed toward him As she did the guardian reached out in front of her and a blade came out of its hand. The blade penetrated the man in the back and came out of his chest. Xero's smile widened and she laughed as she successfully hit her target.

 

Eon was about to slice at Gexln. That was until a blade was pierced through his chest. He looked over to Xero, the one who did so. He smiled at her. The smile could not be seen however being that he was cloaked still. His skin grew pale as the blood leaked out of him. "Hm... it seems... my time... has come..."

With his finally power he cast a spell. A light spell to go towards all the HEROES OF LIGHT. The beacon would send them to the Mysterious Tower. He hoped this would be the last sign of hope to get them together. They needed to join forces. The light needed to defeat the darkness, the way Eon couldn't. He as well sent a message to Micky to allow his friends and family know of this event.

Your Majesty,
I have come to the realm of darkness to spy on our enemies.
They are unorganized but powerful.
You must gather the wielders of light together.
The darkness can be defeated. You just need faith.

With that last message sent out to the king at the Mysterious Tower, Eon fell to the ground. His body withered away into the shadows to create a powerful Heartless as well as a Nobody with incredible durability.


-Twilight Town-

A man looked around the landmass. He wore a brown cloak and had a dark appearance. "I feel the urge to destroy all and claim the Heart within the sky. An army is what I need. I must summon the deepest darkness within the universe. Together we can take control of Kingdom Hearts and let the world fall to Darkness. Let the invitation be sent." He opened his hand to reveal dark notes. He blew into them to send them to the takers of Darkness.

Do you wish to know true power?
Do you seek the power of a Kingdom ruled by pure darkness?
A world that will have no pain, no worry; a world where all understand each other.
Nobody to stop you or give you torment.
If you are a seeker of freedom and true power, heed my call.
Join me in the purge to wipe out that of the wielders of Light.
Only darkness will thrive!

Before the man fell to the ground, Xero a absorbed some of the darkness he possessed and claimed it as her own. "Your darkness... It's rather tasty." She then looked over to Gexln and Valinton with a maniacal grin. "I... want... more!" She stretched her arms out and the stone that was in her chest began to glow a bright color of purple and white. The stone then began to absorb the darkness around it.

Valinton just looked at Xero as she killed the man. She seemed... Different. This obviously wasn't the Xero he knew ten minutes ago. He looked over to Gexln, "Something isn't right... Xero is acting strange." He said. Once Xero started absorbing darkness he knew that something was definitely not right.

 

Gexln watched as Xero finished off the figure. He couldn't quite shake the feeling that he had known the figure from somewhere, but now he would never find out. His attention was caught by a small note blowing towards him. What made it even more odd was the fact that there was little to no wind where he was. After reading the note, a devilish smile crossed the young Nobody's face. "Sounds like whoever sent this note is pretty powerful, and there's a war against those with the light?" he questioned aloud. As he did, two thoughts crossed his mind. The first was that Kaxar was one of the lights, and he did not want to fight her at all. However, the other was that the boy that he had fought with at Twilight Town would probably be with them too. "Heh, it seems like your time is up.." Gexln said quietly.

Unsure if Xero had received a similar note or if he had to show her his, he turned to look at her. "Hey Xero, did you get-" he paused mid sentence. Something wasn't right about Xero, something seemed off. Valinton had noticed it too, it seemed. What added to the problem was that he felt a little weaker, almost like something was missing. His blade? No, no not that. The thought popped up in Gexln's mind almost as quickly as the question had. His darkness, some of it was being drained. What was causing it?

Gexln's eyes locked onto the stone that was glowing within Xero. Was that the stone they had been looking for all along? The one R wanted? It had to be removed. He didn't want to harm Xero to get it, but if that was the only option then that was what he would do. He looked sideways at Valinton. "Hey, you. You have any idea how to get that thing out of her?" he questioned.​

Valinton suddenly felt weak, almost to the point where he couldn't stand. He had to kneel down for a few moments.He could feel that his dark energy was draining. Gexln had asked if he knew a way to get the stone out of Xero and he thought for a moment. Valinton stood up and braced himself, what he was about to do may or may not work. If it did work, it could end up killing Xero... He took a deep breath and then ran as fast as he could toward Xero, one of his swords in his hand just in case. When he was close enough to her he took his demonic hand and with the abilities he possessed, he attempted to reach into Xero's chest to extract the stone. Luckily he was fast enough to so it before she could react.

Xero noticed Valinton charging toward her but he came at a rather blinding speed. The next thing she knew his hand was in her chest. Valinton ripped the stone out of her chest and almost immediately after, darkness began to flow out of the hole in her chest. Xero's eyes slowly reverted back to her normal eye colors and the guardian seemed to look like it was in immense pain right before it dissipated.

The dark energy was draining rather fast. It was almost as if she was losing a lot of blood, but she didn't have blood. She had darkness; and that darkness is what flowed through her like blood. Her vision began to blur and she began falling but Valinton quickly caught her before she fell to the ground. He then lied her down and kneeled over her, his hand hovering over her chest trying to quickly heal the wound. He knew little curing magic, but it was enough to help in this situation.

When the wound was fully closed Valinton stood up and picked Xero up and carried her over his shoulder. Xero's eyes seemed hollow and empty, but she was still there. Just berely. It was almost as if she was in some kind of.trance, for she didn't move or make a sound.

Valinton turned to Gexln, "She should be alright... Due to her losing a lot of her energy in the prossess, she'll be... 'Out of it' for a while." Valinton explained. He then looked at the paper Gexln held. It said something about a war, "A war between Light and Dark? What's that about..?" He asked.

Gexln watched as Valinton freed Xero from her 'trance'. He couldn't help but tense up a little as he stuck his hand in her chest, what if he hurt her? He shook off the worry, this Valinton did not seem like the other one. What had happened to cause the one from his time to snap? "Hmm?" his attention was brought back to the current situation as Valinton asked about the war. He took a deep breath, this was going to be a difficult thing to explain.

"Because Xero told you she'd help you get out of here, I'm going to have to explain something to you. You might notice that me and Xero...well, you probably haven't seen us around much right? We're not from this time. Try to keep with me on this, I don't want to have to explain it again. We are from the future, not from this time. In our time, people that side with the light are opposed to us people with the dark. We've fought many times, but not like this. There's going to be a war, a war over Kingdom Hearts. And only one side will survive it. The guy that..I suppose you could call our leader, R, he sent us through a door back into the past, where we are now, to retrieve..." he began. He walked over and took the stone out of Valinton's hands. "To get this. This stone, R believes, could be what decides which side emerges from the war victorious" he added. He paused, unsure how to say the next part.

"Look, in our time, you branded yourself an enemy. Usually, I would have killed you right where you are, but you don't seem like your future self yet, so i'll take you to R and he can figure out what to do with you. And when you do meet R, you might want to be careful with what you say. R is someone you don't want to cross" he warned. He then turned and opened a dark corridor, one that would lead to the door back to radiant garden. He thought then of the Valinton of their time's death. "Oh, and if you were thinking of asking what happened to the future you, don't. Trust me, you don't want to know" Gexln finished. He then gestured towards the dark corridor. "Step through here, and you'll see a door. Step through the door, and you'll enter a world you may not like, the choice is yours whether or not you remain there" he said. He shook his head. "Man I need to stop hanging around R so much, i'm starting to sound more like him" he muttered under his breath as he waited for Valinton to walk through the corridor.

Valinton's eyes widened a bit as Gexln explained everything to him. The future? Gexln told him how he branded himself an enemy in the future and Valinton was about to ask how he was an enemy, but Gexln told him that he didn't want to know. A dark corridor opened in front of Gexln and was told to go through. He did so as he carried Xero as well. Once he went through, he saw a door and he opened it. On the other side was a the inside of a strange looking house. No one was in it but he went through anyway. He waited for Gexln to follow and he set Xero down on a chair beside him. She was slumped over a bit as she blankly stared at the ground

The dark creator sat on the roof of the mansion, looking at the blood soaked tree where Emerald had met her end. He wasn't there, but it must've been grisly. Without even so much as turning his head, he reached up and grabbed a small note. After glancing it over, he let out a chuckle. "Always so dramatic with these villains. This Enox character just seems like your typical madman. But i shouldn't judge a book by its cover, perhaps i can use him." Xindai stood and looked to the sky. His hair and coat were blowing in the wind. "History repeats itself after all...Well then, Heart of all, have at it." He said as though kingdom hearts could hear him. He was ready for the war to begin again.​

With masterful skill, Satsujin sidestepped around the beams of light, advancing toward Kaxar until he was in range to put his sheathed blade up to her throat. "Don't worry about hurting me. This is training for myself as well. If you don't give it everything you've got, there's little point in this." Satsujin said to her as he walked back to his starting position. He'd had little experience against magic, so it was a good opportunity to learn to counter it as Kaxar learned to avoid his counters. "Again. This time with all you have in you." ​

 

"Ah!" Xara jumped out of the way of the arrow that came spiraling at her, and watched as it heavily hit the ground. Normal arrows would just impale the grass, but this one actually made dirt clods fly everywhere as if it was propelled by some kind of magic."Nah-nah, missed me!" Xara made a raspberry with her tongue and then held up her sword in a defense position. "Well that was extremely rude! Trying to disarm me so you can impale me? What, you can't fight me own your own? What are you, a chicken?" Xara folded her arms into little wings and flapped while bobbing her head to mock movements of a bird. "Baw-baw-baw-AWWWWCK! I bet your used the feathers from your butt to make your arrow! And on top of that, does it look I'm killing anyone yet?" she asked, resting her weight on one hip while waving her hand up in the sky for emphasis. "Nooooo, so you better come out before I light your touche on fi-"

Suddenly, Xara was cut short when a note floated in front of her from the realm of DARKNEEEEESS. "Huh?" Raising an eyebrow, she took the piece of paper and read over it. Some things she read she agreed with and some others she did not, but the things she agreed with overruled the things she didn't agree with. With a slight smile, she tucked the piece of paper away in her pocket and then raised her sword up once more in defense position. "I think I'm wasting my time with whoever you are if I try to explain what's going on, so let's cut to the chase. Your friend over there with the keyblade dude? Yeah, you interrupt whatever is going on now between the two of them, and a gaurentee that she's going to go poof, buh-by forever, into bits and pieces of darkness. So I suggest you stay out of the way and let darkness and light take it's natural course."

Gexln followed Valinton through the dark corridor, making sure to close it as he stepped through it; he didn't want anyone to find their way into the realm of darkness. He gazed at the door, the one that would take him back to his time. Would he arrive back at the point that they'd left, or would it be a little later? Time travel sure was confusing. There was only one way to find out for certain though. He watched as Valinton opened the door and walked through, before following through himself.

He found himself in Radiant Garden once again. "Hmmm, well I guess we should be taking you to R right Valinton? May as well take Xero along too, maybe R can help speed up her recovery or something" Gexln said, voicing his thoughts aloud. Where was R though? He could probably track down R's dark signature if he tried, but did he necessarily have to? He remembered before Radiant Garden R had gone to Castle Oblivion, and it had seemed as though it was a place he visited often. Perhaps if they waited there, R would come to them. While they waited, Gexln could also ponder on the note he had received. He opened up another dark corridor, one that lead to Castle Oblivion. "Come on, no rest for the wicked" he said, half joking as he walked through the corridor, stepping out into Castle Oblivion's hall. He noticed that Kaya was still standing there, but also remembered he didn't actually know the girl's name. "Hey, Red, you know where R is?" he asked.

Kaxar's eyes widened slightly as Satsujin stepped around the beams. He was so fast, how was she supposed to hit him? The next thing she knew, Satsujin was next to her with his sheathed sword near her throat. If it were a real fight, she would have been killed. She watched as he walked back away and told her not to hold back. "O-okay, but sorry If I hurt you" she responded. She repeated what she had done before, sending several light beams towards Satsujin, but at a much faster rate. Although, that wasn't all she was going to do. If she was going to train, she was going to do so now with much more effort behind her attacks. She swung hurled her keyblade at Satsujin, using strike raid, but infused it with the element of light so that it glowed as it spun, indicating its extra power.

 

Lysa slings her bow over her shoulder again, wincing at the utter failure of her attempt at disarming Xara. The girl's hand wraps around the hilt of her sword, then she focuses slightly, projecting her thoughts and imposing them over her own gravity field, Alright... I tried this the nice way... now for the hard way... Lysa focuses her energy, then she leaps off the tree branch and draws her blade, flying through the air and then skidding along the ground feet-first, drawing a thirty-yard line of dust in the air before she cartwheels to the side and lands on her feet, facing Xara from several meters away, "That may be true, but I'm not going to let the likes of you abduct her once she's finished," she says, "I don't know who you are or what you want with her, but I'm not going to let you take her freedom away."

Valinton picked Xero back up and quietly followed Gexln as he walked through the portal and into a white hallway. He made a small laugh as Gexln and 'Red' threw names at each other. Valinton looked over to Gexln, "So this R person.. what are his motives with this.. war?" He asked.

​

Xero while in the state she was in could still somewhat hear what was going on with muffled sounds. Her vision was blurred as well, visions focusing in and out. She then heard many voices talking at once, almost as if they were rushing toward her. Suddenly they all stopped and once they did, her eyes snapped open, "NO!" Her fist then suddenly made contact with Valinton's jaw unintentionally and she was dropped from the shock she had given Valinton. Luckily she caught herself before she could make contact with the ground and sat there with wide eyes, a racing heart, and almost hyperventilating.

Valinton groaned loudly from the sudden punch to his jaw. He held his hand on it and made sure it wasn't dislocated, "What the hell was that?" He quietly asked himself.

"Just because you're jealous of my devilishly handsome looks doesn't mean you need to use them as an insult" Gexln retorted, cocky as ever. He turned to look at Valinton then. "Well, I suppose you could say.." he began, but was stopped as Xero awoke and punched Valinton in the jaw. "You okay Xero?" he asked. After a moment he realized that she would probably be fine, she was just going through a state of shock. "R seems to want peace. No idea why a heartless would want peace, but that's what he wants. He always talks about how this cornerstone thing" he said, holding up the piece of the stone. "Could easily be what forces the lights to give up. Personally, i'd rather just kill most of the lights myself, but I know R could probably kick my ass, so for the moment i've gotta be all co-operative and stuff" he responded to Valinton, giving only a half-assed explanation.

 

OOC: It's late, no banners tonight.

"Okay Ananta!" Annabelle said.

Just then, Ruby, Garnet, and Luna appeared. Garnet took Annabelle in a big long hug, and Ruby sat on a tree stump, looking excluded.
Shiki walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "You okay?" she asked gently.
Ruby shook her head slowly, then got up and walked deeper into the woods, with Shiki following, so they could talk.

Garnet turned back to the group. "Thanks for taking care of my sister. Now we'll be leaving. We have enough people, more will only hold us back."
Neku grinned. She was just like he used to be. "You know," he said, "You only got here because Joshua gave you guys the pin, and told us to get Annabelle and her older friend Ananta here to wait for you, so guess we don't tie you back, eh?"
Garnet glared at him. "I don't need some brat telling me what I already know."
"If you know, then why are we just gonna hold you back?"
Garnet opened her mouth, then closed it. He was right. Maybe it was time she forgave Ruby... She looked to Ananta. "Did he say Ananta, as in my mother Flora's friend Ananta?"

"Yeah-huh!" Annabelle said cheerliy.

Garnet immediately bowed. "I'm sorry for my disrespect and the burden of taking care of my little sister! I think highly of you from what my mother had told me!"

Xero frantically looked around, "Where am I? What happened to me? I don't think I-" She then suddenly eyed the stone that was in Gexln's hand, "GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!!" She frantically attempted to shuffle backwards as she spoke. The stone is what some how possessed her and after that she didn't want to be anywhere near it.

Ananta watched as two more girls game along. One walked off with the young, pink haired friend of the orange haired boy, while the other stayed behind and hugged Annabelle. They talked amongst themselves as she looked up at the sunlight beaming through the leaves. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she was covered in immense sadness. Somewhere, far away, a dear friend was gone. Her knees buckled as she fell to the ground. Right hand covering her eyes, her left clutched her keyblade. More and more tears were falling from her eyes as she began to cry harder.

In front of her, the lightly colored hair of Garnet bounced as she bow down to Ananta. "I'm sorry for my disrespect and the burden of taking care of my little sister! I think highly of you from what my mother had told me!"

This brought her back to reality. Standing up quickly, keyblade disappearing, she wiped her face and slapped her cheeks. "Yeah, yeah, disrespect. Um, well, I'd actually would like to know your names. I already know Annabelle here. What of you and the other that walked away?" she spoke with an audible sadness.

As she finished her sentence, and as the girl spoke back to her, a powerful light spell began to envelope her. Looking at the two in front of her, she widened her eyes in horror. "No! Not again! Help!" she screamed, reaching her hand out desperately. It was in vain, as she soon disappeared from in front of the two girls. Seems like they too were going to be teleported.

 

Enox smiled. "The invitation is sent. There is only one place that everyone would go together..." He jumped off the clock tower that he stood on. He snapped his fingers to open a dark portal on the ground for him to dive into. "Castle Oblivion." He yelled as he dropped into the portal. A large grin on his face.

As he surfed through the darkness, he began to emit his power to allow them all to know he was there right as he exited. In fact, the portal opened to the inside of Castle Oblivion where A good amount of the darkness was concentrated in the realm of in-between. His energy should have been enough to let them know he arrived. He sat on one of the pillars up above.


Two children had entered the tower. Twins from the looks of it.

"This is where dad said to go, right Dawn?"
"Sure looks that way Dusk."

Dawn went up the staircase looking around curiously. She then saw Micky there who had a look of worry in his face. "Hello sir, are you okay?" She said approaching the mouse.
Dusk on the other hand was just snooping around. He heard people outside fighting and decided to move towards it. There were in fact some people fighting. Two boys and one girl. Dusk just stood along the wall staring at them, wishing he could get in on the action.

 

As the train heading for the Mysterious Tower stopped, a lone figure stepped off. With a quick sigh Kel made his way towards the tower. Upon receiving the letter from King Mickey he wondered how many of his old comrades would he be seeing again. After all, it had been quite a while since he's seen any of them. Before making his way into the tower noticed some people fighting, though since he didn't know any of them, he didn't bother to intrude. He simply continued on his way up the stairway towards where King Mickey was at.
