The Final War, Light Vs Dark

Satsujin sat silently by Caleb and Kaxar as they trained, Narukami sheathed by his side. Kaxar's defense was good, but if she was too used to her opponent holding back, it would cost her in a real fight. Luckily, she ordered Caleb to correct this. This was interesting to watch. He trailed off in his mind, thinking of the keyblade. He may be able to summon one now. He considered trying it, but didn't. His goal was to defeat R, and Narukami was the way he was going to do it. Should a keyblade present itself to him later, he wouldn't object. For the moment though, he was content with his weapon. Returning to reality, he stood and approached the two. "Care for some assistance?" ​

The heartless slowly floated down, landing beside the cowering girl. He placed a hand on her shoulder, attempting to encourage her. "Do not be afraid. You hold the mightiest weapon of all." With a swipe of his keyblade, the darkness was immediately driven back from the surface of the platform, revealing the glass beneath. It was at bay for now, but unless they hurried it would take Sapphire's mind. On each third of the platform was a pillar with the dream weapons. "Choose the form which it takes." ​

 

Eon stood there not saying a word. The cloak covered his expression. The fear of being found out. Luckily there was only one of them [FOR NOW] so he would have no real problem escaping. As long as he said nothing and moved quick he could get away. He started to run off to his left to try and avoid this confrontation. Soon, he may be stopped from other members of the darkness. He couldn't let that happen, he needed to move quicker, but the man behind him could also be tailing him. This was not a favorable situation.

Xero stood up and looked at Valinton,"We should probably head back now." She said, "I shouldn't have ran off like that." She turned around and created a dark corridor. She could see that Valinton didn't exactly like that idea of going back,"If I get trapped in there again..."
"You won't." Xero simply said. She walked through after materializing her scythe, ready for Ansem. But when she walked through she saw no Ansem, instead someone running towards her.

"Whoa!" Surprised, Xero slashed at the cloaked man and knocked him back. She looked around and then at Gexln, "Who's he? A-and where's Ansem?" Her eyes went wide as she soon realized that Roe wasn't there either, "Where's Roe?!"

Valinton walked through and saw a man on the ground in front of Xero. Who was he? And where was Ansem? He wondered the same things as Xero and then he took out his Katanas and then pointed at the hooded man with one of them, "Who are you, and what're you doing here?" He asked the man with a stern look in his eyes.

The two wielders both stopped and looked at Satsujin for a brief moment, shocked that someone had been watching them train. Caleb turned to look at Kaxar and gave a questioning look as if to ask if she minded. "I think I need all the help I can get" Kaxar responded with a slight laugh. "You underestimate just how fast you're progressing, Kaxar" Caleb protested, however he did give a gesture for Satsujin to come over to the two. "Kaxar's skill is growing at an incredible rate considering we've only been training for just tonight, but I have no idea how to teach offensive techniques to anybody. I've never really put much thought into offense, do you think you could help her with that?" Caleb asked.

Gexln was indeed tailing Eon. The fact that the man had begun fleeing the moment Gexln questioned who he was only convinced Gexln that Eon was of ill intent there. He continued chasing him, coming to a stop only when Xero and Valinton appeared to head him off. "No idea who he is, he began running off the moment I asked. As for Roe..well she got taken by Ansem..they dissappeared before I could get anywhere near him...and he" Gexln said, pointing a finger accusingly at Eon. "Did nothing but stand by and watch as she got taken!" Gexln shouted. Gexln did not look calm in the slightest, in fact he looked the complete opposite of calm. He couldn't stand still, shifting his weight from one foot to the next while his fury fuelled him.

 

Eon was stopped by new two figures. He had no where to run off to now. He needed to avoid all traces. The only way he could do that was to summon a different keyblade and lower his pitch in voice. That way, they wouldn't be able to trace who he was. That was only if they didn't unmask him however.

He summoned an old keyblade of his, one he used a long time ago. Unbound came right next to him. The great thing about this was it could leap you back in time a few seconds. It was great in battle. It had one hell of a cool down however. He readied himself for battle. "Steel Guard!" He shouted as his body began to glow yellow. "I do not plan on sharing any information with the likes of you."

Lysa ducks under a branch as she jogs through the woods, she couldn't shake the feeling that something had gone terribly wrong. She easily vaults over a fallen tree and lands back on her feet, darting under another limb and then pushing through a thick wall of bushes into a lighted clearing. Lysa's left hand raises to block out the bright light, her face contorting into a wince until the blinding white lowers into a better image, that of a large mansion, and in the clearing, lying there, was a girl shrouded in darkness, alongside her were a dark-haired man and another girl, Lysa narrows her eyes as she crouches, examining the situation from afar while pulling an arrow from her quiver and nocking it, but not raising her bow into a firing position.​

 

"My name is Keiko," the confused girl said with a small smile as she stepped out of the room. "Sorry if I'm bothering you or anything..." Keiko twiddled with her thumbs and the poked her glasses up her nose again. "I think my name is all I know really. I don't know where I am..." She trailed off and tapped her chin with her index finger. "Where did I come from again?" She asked herself, and then scratched her head as if that would help answer her question.

Xara sighed out in boredom as she sat there on the ground by the two dreamers. "Booooooooring," she said with another sigh and rolled her eyes. Just then, Xara heard something rustling in the bushes and raised an eyebrow. Well, she wasn't alone anymore. And something told her to keep her guard up now. "Ah come on!" she exclaimed loudly with a smirk. "Confrontation already? I mean, yeah I was bored, but sheesh." Xara pushed herself to stand up and with a flick of her wrist, summoned one of her katanas in a swirl of purply flames. "I was just getting comfortable." She glanced around, not really taking any kind of fighting dance and just stood there. "Come out, come out where ever you are~."

 

You'd think after that last adventure with a keyblade, Ananta wouldn't want to go on another. ​

Well, you'd be wrong on that part. ​

Walking out of a shop in Twilight Town, she looked around. ​

This place was weird. ​

Very weird. ​

Always orange and never dark, to her understanding, and everyone seemed happy...albeit they had weird architectural design. ​

Wandering about, she couldn't really tell where to go or who to ask for help. ​

The trolley passed by as she noticed a hole in the wall. ​

On the other side, there appeared to be a forest. ​

Stepping through the hole, she appeared on the other side. ​

Listening, she could hear a voice. ​

Walking through the forest, she spoke out "Hello?" to whoever was in the forest.​

Gexln was surprised the moment he saw Unbound be summoned. He knew that keyblade from his days as a somebody, the people he had once fought with had used it. He knew that whoever used it was going to be hard to bring down with the keyblade's ability. The second he saw the man use steel guard, he began running towards the man. "You'll tell us what we need to know!" he shouted, firing off a double dark firaga at the figure.

Xero charged toward Eon, a dark aura began to radiate off of her. The darkness in the atmosphere around her seemed to charge her darkness; it felt stronger than before. Xero suddenly felt a sharp pain in her chest and stopped in place. She fell to her knees and felt the pain increasing. What's... Happening...? She began to suddenly have a hard time breathing and began weazing and coughing.

She felt something... growing in her chest. It had an immense amount of power and she then realized that the darkness she felt earlier wasn't hers alone, nor was it Ansem's. It was something else. Memories from when her somebody Roe took the stone she found began to flow into her mind. She then realized that it was the Eternity Stone they had been looking for. But... How did it become apart of her?! She remembered that Ansem had taken it right before he had taken over Roe.

"W-what...?" Xero felt the pain in her chest begin to subside, but the darkness began to feel like it was overflowing. If she lost control now, there's no telling what Ansem would do. However, she actually considered it seeing what Keyblade the figure wielded now. The darkness Ansem wielded began to seem a lot more friendly as a maniacal smile suddenly crossed her lips.

The stone was corrupting her with the amount of dark energy it was giving off. No one shouldn't be able to stand the amount of darkness that was pouring into her.. it was maddening. Xero let out a chuckle, then it became laughter, after that it became a fit of maniacal laughter.

The laughter suddenly stopped and Xero stood up. She just stood there for a few moments and suddenly a violent explosion of darkness filled the area. The look Xero gave as she looked up was dark, twisted and filled with a joy for the kill she was about to make. Her eyes were black with an orange iris. Darkness began to form around her and the guardian appeared. But it seemed different from Ansem's guardian... It was more twisted and almost bent up looking. It looked like a corrupt version of Ansem's guardian in fact.

Xero began to levitate and she practically threw her arms to the side and summoned dark fire like auras around her hands that reached to her elbows. After she summoned the auras, when she moved, the guardian moved as well, as if they were connected to one mind.

Xero then charged toward the figure and quickly made a gesture that made one of the guardian's hands summon a fire around it and then she threw a punch at the man.

[/url] Annabelle rambled to herself, loudly. "Ugh... I'm so stupid! I let myself get lost AGAIN!" Why did this keep happening? Seriously, it was starting to get bad. She needed to find her sister and Luna and get home as soon as she could. If Ruby found her... that would be bad. Really bad.

Suddenly, she heard a voice.

"Hello?" it said.

Oh great. Company. Annabelle readied her Keyblade in case this wasn't such friendly company. She stepped out and saw a woman with green hair curiously looking at her. "Wh-Who are you?" Annabelle said, pointing her Keyblade at her. There was something eerily familiar about this girl... She recalled someone with green hair being mentioned in her mom's storeis before she died. She figured it couldn't hurt to ask. "Are you... Did you know my mother, Flora?"

From above a tree, an orange haired kid and his red-haired friend who was holding a plush cat watched the two...

At the Mysterious Tower, meanwhile, Ruby had finally arrived outside. She had abandoned R and all he stood for to return to her sisters. Luckily, her old friend Joshua owed her a favor, and she decided to collect it. She turned to look at the boy. "Thanks again Joshua."

"My my..." Joshua replied, "So polite all of a sudden, Ruby. What's the occasion? Miss your sisters? Remorse?" He smiled at her. "Tell me your secrets..."

Ruby glared at him. "Not funny Joshua. I'm not going to let you pull me into one of your silly games. Especially since I had to bail you out last time because of your illegal interference." She began to walk.

Joshua winced at that reminder. "It was considered null, okay? Besides, Neku and everyone made it out safely." He floated alongside her.

"Even then, you hurt those kids. You stole Shiki's appearance. Who she was and who she is now are two very different things. Rhyme didn't even remember her own damn brother, and she got Erased and turned into a Noise for the goodness sake! Beat became a Reaper and tried to kill you and Neku. You may have saved them after your world collapsed, but pulling them into a game like that and stripping away their identities isn't right." Ruby scolded as she walked into the tower.

"Don't act so innocent, Ruby. You tried to change your little sister."

Ruby stopped. She had tried to change Annabelle. She had wanted to make her better. At the time, she believed force was the way to make Annabelle stronger. But she realized that she was wrong. It wasn't who Annabelle was meant to be at all. And she regretted changing her little sister who had once been so innocent. "I did... and I gave her the strength to stand up to me. I didn't like it at first, but now, I'm proud to call her my little sister. I owe her, because if she hadn't stood up to me or changed, she wouldn't have taught me that I was wrong, and that I was meant to help the Lights."

Joshua yawned. "Hey, whatever floats your boat babe, I'm just watching and seeing who I can throw into a game." he said with a snicker.

"If you so much as touch anyone of the Lights who die, I'll find you and rip your heart out myself."

"Tch. And we're supposed to be friends?"

"Hey, you bring out the best in me, dear Joshy." Ruby stopped at the door. "We're here."

"Yes, we are. Need me to pull Neku in so he can talk to your sister?"

"... Why don't you just tell her about him?" This kid was killing her.

"Fine. But that's no fun. I could just imagine his face if he were on a date with Shiki, leaning in to kiss her, and then poof! he's here."

"Oh Joshua..." Ruby pushed the door open and was greeted with two Keyblades pointing at her.

[/url] "Ruby!?" Garnet said, "What the heck are you doing here? You know we don't want you near us." She stepped forward. "Get out of here before I make you."

Luna looked at Ruby with fierce eyes. She had caused Garnet so many problems. "Yeah! Go away!" She said.

"Now girls... Calm down!" Joshua interjected, "Ruby's here only to assist!" He glanced at her with a sly smile.

Ruby stepped forward and looked at them, then blurted out her entire epiphany and what had transpired between their last meeting and now.

"...And so... you see... I want to get you guys and go home. Because this isn't our battle. It never should have been... and I'm sorry..."

Garnet looked at her sister, then turned. "Just be on your best behavior. I still don't trust you."

Joshua looked at her. "You remind me of a guy I know. He was like you. A lot. He wouldn't trust anyone, and he hated everyone. But in time, he learned that someone he trusted closely was the enemy. And you know what? That person admired the fact he refused to kill him because of all the trust they had." He paused, "I guess what I'm trying to say is... Who you see as the enemy may not always be the enemy."

"Ugh! I get it, okay! Jeez... Fine. You can come with us Ruby..."

Joshua looked at Ruby. "Consider this a gift, from me. Also, this pin will take you to your little sister, then back here. Only good for one use." he winked at her, "I still owe you a favor."

"Joshua... thank you..." Ruby whispered as her friend vanished.

 

Ananta stopped, listening hard, footsteps moving around her. ​

"Ugh... I'm so stupid! I let myself get lost AGAIN!"​

This voice echoed through the forest. She followed it and was greeted with a keyblade that was rather close to her face.​

​

"Wh-Who are you?" the girl asked cautiously. And with great reason as well. Seeing a random person in the same forest as you, would make anyone get scared. Especially if you were as lost as this girl was.​

​

Ananta lifted her own keyblade and knocked this one away, hopping back. Her long, braided hair could be seen trailing behind her as she jumped backwards. She was putting some distance between the girl and herself, not wanting to be caught between a rock and a hard place.​

​

"Are you... Did you know my mother, Flora?" she heard the girl ask her.​

​

"Flora...? I didn't know she had kids." she said out loud. "The Flora I knew was just a teenager. That's impossible for her to have kids!" These words were filled with anger. Flora was too young to have a kid that was this old!​

 

​

R nodded silently as she chose the staff. It made sense, with her powerful dark magics and all. "Now you must sacrifice one in exchange. After that, your darkest fear will arise. You must defeat it. I will offer you all the assistance i can but in the end it must be you who does the deed." They had to hurry. Not only for the sake of Sapphire's mind, but R had a foreboding feeling. Like the war was but minutes away, and he couldn't be unconsious at that time. As strong as the darks were, the light was still as fierce as ever, and those wielders had a way of overcoming insurmountable odds. They'd need every ounce of strength at their disposal to win this. ​

Satsujin pulled his katana into a defensive stance, still sheathed so as not to actually injure Kaxar in a counterattack. "I'm lead to believe that you chose the Guardian. But which did you give up? The sword or the staff, it doesn't matter which. Whichever you gave up has little point in even trying, so come at me with the other." Said the assassin. He sacrificed the guardian himself, so defending outright wouldn't be the best option. Instead, he would parry anything she threw at him. ​

Beuce lay in his bed, hands behind his head. Seeing Eon again made him think about the old days. He wondered how Krowley and Base were doing. He went through more than one world with the two of them. It was only then a familiar feeling hit him. "My Ananta senses are tingling." Yes, he had "Ananta senses" and the tingled. He giggled, thinking the feeling was rather funny.​

His steel guard was up not allowing him to move. Luckily, the dark Firga was blocked. It was strong however, enough effort and that would eventually pierce him. This man in fact seemed familiar. He was strong also. As if he was from long ago. Maybe he was the nobody of someone he knew back in his younger days. "I won't tell you anything. I shall die before then." He released his steal guard and jumped back. He leaped up and began to spin down towards Gexln "Guardian Impact!" He came flying down towards him. Avoiding Xero the same time.

Lysa's eyes narrow, and she slips back into the bushes, then silently floats up to a high branch in a tree, where she draws the arrow back, That looked like dark fire... which must mean that girl is working with Sapphire's sister... I can't let them have her again... Sapphire needs to be free... Lysa shifts her aim slightly, and then releases the arrow, using her gravity powers to give the projectile more weight, to make a heavier, harder hit. She was aiming for the hilt of Xara's katana... a disarming blow, not a fatal one.​

Gexln wasn't surprised overly that his dark firaga had not had much of an impact. The way that the man glowed, as well as the defensive technique he seemed to be using, suggested that he was going to be a tough one to bring down. Gexln expected the figure to endure through most of his attacks without much hope of offense, so what Eon did next surprised Gexln very much so. As the attack came spinning down towards him, he realized he had to react quickly. If that attack hit, it would certainly hit hard. Gexln threw himself to the side out of desperation, crashing to the ground as he did so. "Ouch, that hurt more than I thought it would" he commented as he skidded along the ground a few feet.

Caleb sat down on the ground a distance away from where Kaxar and Satsujin stood. He had done what he could to teach Kaxar defense, now it was Satsujin's turn to help the girl with offense, something that Caleb himself had no idea how to teach. Maybe if he paid close enough attention to what Satsujin said, he could pick up a few new tricks of his own. Maybe, but he didn't have much hope for that.

"I gave up the sword" Kaxar responded. What Satsujin said next made sense; if she chose to give up the sword, then all out offense probably wouldn't be the best idea. She had to find a way to mix it up, using a little magical power every now and then. Would she be able to replicate what she had done in her dive to the heart? She wouldn't try it, she didn't want to hurt Satsujin accidentally. Instead, she calmly pointed her keyblade at Satsujin. Concentrating on her element, Kaxar did her best to tap into that power and use it, releasing a couple of small beams of light that flew towards Satsujin.

 

Thanks to that dodge, Eon plummeted to the ground, creating a large crater. "Damn, he dodged rather well. Thanks to that now I have a headache. Oh well." He leaped out of the crater to stand right above Gexln. He pointed his keyblade right at Gexln's face. "Your darkness is completely unorganized. How can you expect to defeat me with no allies. This is why the darkness is so weak." He pulled back his keyblade ready to strike at him. His guard was down, but he should be able to take any kind of attack.

[/url] Annabelle looked at the woman. "Well, she didn't have me or my older sister, she had my oldest sister."

"Hey, Annabelle!" Said a voice.

Annabelle turned to see Neku Sakuraba and Shiki Misaki, two kids she had met before nearer the Mansion. "Neku! Shiki! What's up?"

"Your sisters are coming to get you. And us. Joshua wants us to do something, so they're taking us. Or meeting us here." Neku said.
Shiki winked. "He wants Neku to teach your moody sister how to trust people."
Neku rolled his eyes. "Shut up."

Annabelle giggled. Then she turned to the green haired lady. "Come with me! You can meet my sisters and we can reminiscence about my mom!"

Neku ruffled her hair. "Heh. Just wait then, they should be here soon. Also, who's your friend?"

Annabelle looked at them. "I don't know... What IS your name, miss?"

 

More people approached them. "Meeting your...sisters?" she questioned aloud.

That'd be nice, but right now, she's got a lot on her mind. For instance, what is going on, and why is she even here. Ananta examined the newcomers. A girl with pink hair and a boy with orange hair. They spoke of a Joshua and meeting some people.

"I don't know... What IS your name, miss?"

"I'm not too old to be called miss, yet. My name is Ananta, however." she sighed. Her blade clenched in her hand, she didn't return it just yet. Not wanting to let her guard down in a new environment and all.
