Following behind the others on his glider, Kel soon noticed all the heartless at the sandbox. "Well at least they know how to welcome us." Leaping off his glider and summoning his keyblade, he casted fire onto the group of heartless that surrounded where he would land. "Saa, Showtime." With his keyblade held high, he began to strike down the heartless before him.

Due to MoK finally getting his computer back and not having a clue what happened with Xross, he decided to randomly place him in a group for some easy interaction. From what he could tell, the best place to randomly place him was where R was, mainly cause sending him to Kel would cause some un needed drama for the moment. So using his wizard like power, he teleported Xross to where R was and hoped that Rienzel would take it from there.

Kaya was shocked that this girl knew even a slight bit about her. But she wasn't going to lose her cool over this... hopefully. "No you have it wrong. My brother betrayed us. He left our family when we needed him most. Did he think once he left the heartless problem would just go away? He was the only one who knew how to fight them and with him gone the issue just got worse, not only in my home world but in others too." She began to fake cry once more. If this didn't work she would turn to force to get past her and get to her sister. "If he had been there that night in Traverse Town my parents would still be here right now! And don't you dare accuse me of abducting my sister! I took her to a safe place so I could train to protect her better. My brother is the traitor not me! Please you have to believe me..."

Everyone seemed to be there ready to help fight. This was a relief to Louvel. He turned to the two girls talking. "Shut up and fight." He said harshly. He didn't want to think about his sister or Annabelle for that sake. Louvel turned and began to take out heartless after heartless. His mind flashed to his two sisters then he began to imagine what might have happened in his absence. A tear ran down his cheek but he didn't notice. He was too focused on getting his anger out through fighting.
Azurite thought it best to stay out of Louvels way. He ended up fighting beside Kel "You think you can handle this many?" He asked to spur on a bit of a cometition attitude to help motivate them to fight as hard as they could.

"Oh I see." The king said concerned. He had paid special attention to anything to do with Sapphire. "She has quite an attitude doesn't she." He indicated to the door to the room that Sapphire was locked in. "I can't force her to join us nor can I help her control the darkness. If she is as dangerous as you make it seem to be. I can't take the risk of trying to help her control it. It would best we just keep her somewhere she can't hurt anyone else or herself. It is for the better of everyone." The king finished in a slightly sad tone. He hated to keep anyone locked up but with the war he had no choice

Kaxar was straining more and more against the restraints to no avail. She was already panicking heavily, and now Xero was freaking out next to her, it didn't help the situation. She began kicking against the chair furiously. "Let us go! Please!" she cried out. Tears were beginning to well up in her eyes now, the desire to help Xindai nearly completely gone.

Gexln and Verox had stopped to take a quick rest. They had walked the entire circuit of Tram Common, and were yet to find anything that could help them find Kaxar and Xero's whereabouts. Both of them sat down. It was Gexln that spoke first, breaking the silence. "Verox, remember what I said to you when we last met, about killing you?" he asked. Verox turned and looked halfway in Gexln's direction. "Mhmm...?" he responded. Was Gexln about to forsake his vengeance for the good of Kaxar? "Just so you know, after we find them, I'm going to kill you then. This working together right now is purely temporary. Believe me when I say I still hate you just as much as I always have" Gexln stated bluntly. Verox sighed. Maybe some people just never change, even when someone close to them is put in danger Verox thought to himself. "And believe me when I say that if you attempt to, you won't be given another chance at life" Verox replied grimly. The two sat there for a moment. "I saved her once you know. Back when her and I were thirteen. I saved her then, and I'm not going to give up until she's safe again" the Nobody vowed. "You saved her?" Verox questioned, assuming he was talking about Kaxar. After Gexln's last response, he was surprised that he would go out of his way to save anyone other than himself. Then again, isn't that what he was doing right then? Gexln took a deep breath and explained.

Kara was happier than usual. She'd just been complimented for her excellent work in her studies by her teacher, and she was on her way home to tell her parents the good news. Sadly, that happiness didn't last long. Kara overheard some boys talking about something in front of a store to her left. She knew it was wrong to eavesdrop, but curiousity got the better of her. "Did you hear? Glen's been playing with darkness again. That makes six times in just the past few days! What's wrong with that kid? He's seriously messed up, surprised his parents didn't put him up for adoption or something. I'd hate to have a kid like that, he's horrible" One of the men said. This man was a local bully that went by the name of Rufus. He was average in height, but he was extremely muscular. He spoke with a thick Irish accent and had brown eyes and white hair. His two associates that he was speaking to were Bean, a short 15 year old with black hair, green eyes and a non-muscular build, and Rat, a short 14 year old that was rather chubby and had a face that only a mother could love.

The three boys stopped talking, they had spotted Kara. She turned around quickly and began to leave, but Rat grabbed her by the back of her hoodie and dragged her over to the other two. While Rat was slow he was certainly strong. "Hey look what we have here guys, a little snitch. Running off to tell your boyfriend what we were saying huh?" Rufus mocked. Fear set in Kara. Rufus and his friends were well-known bullies and had a reputation for harming people for the smallest of things. "He isn't my boyfriend, and no I was on my way home" she responded. A small spark of defiance arose in Kara for a split second. "And you shouldn't say such horrible things about Glen! It's people like you that caused him to become the way he is!" she yelled, anger replacing fear for one moment only to fade away the next. All three of the boys laughed. Rat shoved Kara to the ground as Bean and Rufus closed in. Rufus was placing his fist in his other hand menacingly. "Lets show her what happens to snitches that yell at us" Rufus said.

The townspeople gathered around the four people and formed a tight circle. Adults and other children alike were in it, which shocked Kara. She knew the townspeople could be aggressive sometimes, but this was out of character for most of them. For the first time, she knew what Glen felt like. Rufus swung his fist towards Kara, attempting to punch her in the stomach. Kara screamed as the punch collided, tears now streaming down her face. Now it was Bean's turn. He pulled back his fist and swung at her, this time aimed towards her skull. Kara closed her eyes and braced for the impact as best she could. A small crack was heard in the area, followed quickly by a cry of pain as realization set in. Kara opened her eyes; the cry had not come from her. Standing in front of her was Glen, his fists glowing with a dark aura and a grim, furious look in his eyes. He was standing over the crying Bean, whose arm had been horribly twisted into a state that only extreme surgery would have any hope of repairing. Bean stood up and, still crying, began screaming and ran away.

Glen looked at Kara. "Kara, are you hurt?" he asked, his tone clearly of concern. "I-I'll be fine" she said, tears slowing down. She felt safe around Glen. She always had, hadn't she? Glen turned to Rufus and Rat. "If you don't leave now, I'm going to beat you to the point that they aren't going to know whose name to put in the funeral notice" he threatened. Rat turned a very pale white and left hastily, knowing full well that Glen meant what he said. Rufus however had an ego the size of a whale and didn't want his reputation to be tarnished. He ran at Glen and swung his fist at Glen's jaw, hoping to take him by surprise. Glen wasn't phased; he'd been in many a fight before. He ducked under the punch and retaliated with a vicious uppercut to Rufus' jaw. Then when Rufus was on the ground, Glen kicked him in the stomach and raised his fist threateningly. "Glen, stop!" Kara yelled, knowing full well that when Glen threatened someone he meant it.

Glen hesitated for a second, his heart full of fury and wanting to finish the job but his mind knowing he shouldn't. His mind won, for once. Glen lowered his arms and stood up. Rufus scrambled to his feet and walked off slowly, mumbling words about darkness and revenge and shakily walking. The townspeople responded to this in a harsh way. They began throwing rocks at him, yelling things such as "Monster!" and "Freak!" , as well as statements such as "Look what he did to that kid's arm!"

Glen stood silently for a moment. However, his temper would not remain as calm as he would've wished. "I'm a monster? YOU people are the ones that stood there and watched, some of you even encouraged, three boys beating up a defenceless girl here, and I'M the monster?! You people are pathetic and not worth the lives that you were given! I would kill you all here if it weren't for Kara, so be thankful for her, don't encourage others to beat her up. Because if you do, i'm going to show you just what a true monster is like!" he yelled furiously. He turned to Kara and gestured for him to follow. "C'mon Kara, lets get out of here and away from these lowlifes" he said as gently as his voice would allow. Glen walked Kara the rest of the way home, not noticing the warm smile on her face; the smile of someone that would be forever grateful.

Gexln looked at Verox. "I don't think I ever told her then. It hurt me more than it hurt her, I think. She got hurt because of me, and that's something i've always regretted" Gexln said softly. Verox blinked twice. Gexln actually cares about someone other than himself? He spared someone's life for her sake? Is this the same Gexln that I fought? He wondered. Gexln grinned half-heartedly at Verox. "Don't worry, I killed them later" He said, reminding Verox that Gexln was indeed the same one he had fought.

Lysa's jaw tigtens, her knuckles turning white on the grip of her blade. Kaya and Ruby would easily be able to tell that the girl was going through some sort of inner struggle. Lysa's eyes narrow, then she sighs and relaxes somewhat, "alright then, let's say I believed you... what do you want me to do?" she asks, not entirely commited, but willing to follow Kaya for the moment.

[IMG] As the first group of heartless around him fell into dust, Kel turned his attention to another group. As always they were clumped up in a group and flattening themselves to the ground to move around. Typical, enemies like these never changed their tricks. As the first one out of the group lunged at him, it was met with the end of the keyblade. That one heartless served as the trigger for the other ones to attack, which Kel struck down one by one.

Verox looked at Gexln curiously for a second. "Killed them?" he echoed. He saw Gexln tense up. "Heh, yeah..a few years ago actually, when I was only sixteen. It was...what, three years and six days ago exactly?" Gexln replied. Verox was surprised. He raised an eyebrow as he spoke again. "How is it you remember it the exact day?" he questioned. Gexln sat silently for a moment. "It's the day I became a Nobody" he responded grimly as he began his tale.
Kara lazily opened her left eye and rolled over, looking at her clock while she was still laying in her bed in her home. It was only 4am. "Too early.." she said sleepily as she rolled onto her back once more and closed her eyes. She heard a scream from outside, followed by several more. She opened her eyes and sat up. "Screams? What's going on?" she questioned. She got up and walked out of her room in the clothes she had gone to sleep in the night before. As she descended the stairs, she heard another scream, but it was cut off short. This sent her into a panic. Picking up the pace, she broke into a run and went outside.

The first thing she noticed was flames. Many of the buildings in her street were on fire, the smoke polluting the air heavily. Fear set in. "Who could've done this?" she asked, wondering aloud. She heard yet another scream, again cut short, coming from her side. She turned to look at it, and was shocked to see what was there. Standing there was Glen, covered in blood and his body was giving off an aura of darkness.

Glen kicked at the corpse that was at his feet and laughed. It wasn't a laugh of happiness, he was laughing at the body itself. "Call me a monster again!" he yelled out, followed by another maniacal laugh. Rufus, the town's bully, stepped out in front of Glen. "Hey freak, stop killing people!" he demanded, his voice a tone of fearfulness. Glen turned around and without a word plunged his arm straight through Rufus' chest. Rufus began gasping for air and fell to the ground. Kara screamed as she witnessed the horrific act. It seemed Glen had heard the scream, turning around to look at Kara.

Glen's eyes were not his own. They were a pure black colour. "Glen? What're you doing?" she questioned. Glen took a step towards Kara, making sure to stomp forcefully on Rufus' body as he passed it. "Glen, stop it!" Kara yelled. Glen continued walking towards Kara, and stopped in front of her. He turned and motioned towards all the bodies of the villagers that had ridiculed him years ago, a huge pile a short distance away. "What? Don't you like my art?" he asked. Kara nearly threw up in her mouth. "You're proving them right, Glen! You're being exactly...exactly.." she said, tears welling up in her eyes. Glen turned back to look at Kara and took a step forward and put his weight on his front leg. "SAY IT!" he yelled. "You're being a monster!" Kara screamed, tears now streaming down her face.

Glen laughed once again. "Haven't I always BEEN a monster?! That's what they all seemed to think! Don't you get it? This is a GOOD thing Kara! They'll never call me a monster ever again! Rufus, Bean and Rat, they're all dead too. They'll never hurt us ever again, any of them!" he shouted to her. "And you're going to kill me too because I called you a monster right now?" Kara questioned. The aura of darkness shrunk a little bit, as did the dark colour of his eyes. He seemed to have regained some control. "N-no, you're the only one that was nice to me" he said. "Then stop the killing, please. For me!" Kara pleaded. "I can't" Glen responded.

Kara gasped. "What do you mean can't?" she asked. "I really can't, it's..it's taken over me. The darkness..I can't stop it Kara" Glen responded, tears now slowly going down his face too. "You can! You're not darkness, Glen, you're my friend!" Kara shouted desperately. "Kara...I...I can't" was the response. The dark aura began intensifying around Glen. Swirls of darkness began appearing around Glen suddenly. "What's happening?!" Glen asked, panicking. His body began floating into the sky. "Kara help!" he screamed.

The darkness from the people he had killed began flowing into Glen. Glen began struggling furiously, moving around in the air to no avail. Kara was speechless, unable to say anything but unable to look away. She couldn't do anything to help Glen. The darkness began swirling faster and faster around Glen until at last they collapsed inwards on him quckly. The last thing that could be seen of Glen was his pale arm reaching out for the friend that he valued so much, as though somehow if he could only reach Kara he would be saved. As quickly as the corruption had started, the swirling darkness stopped. Glen's body fell to the ground, black as the night sky. His body hit the ground with a soft thump.

Kara screamed louder than she ever had. She ran over to him. Tears were unable to be stopped, and her pants were quickly becoming drenched from the sheer amount of tears as she knelt over Glen's body, weeping for her friend that had been taken from her by the darkness. "Glen, please don't go" she said quietly through her tears. "Please, please Glen!" she said. Of course, no response. "Glen!" she screamed once more. Kara collapsed onto the ground in a sorrowful mess, unable to stop crying at the loss of her friend. She didn't look up when light in the shape of a keyblade appeared in her hand, materialising itself in the form of True Light's Flight. She stood up and threw the keyblade away, not wanting anything to do with it in her grief as she turned and ran as fast as she possibly could.

Both Gexln and Verox were silent now. Verox was shocked that Gexln had told him such personal things, Gexln was wondering why he had told Verox. He stood up before Verox had a chance to comment on it. "I'm not going to lose her again. I will find her" he said, walking off to begin searching Tram Common again for any clues. Verox sat still for a moment in shock, before getting up and following Gexln.

Caleb hadn't stopped since he left the mansion. Despite his body being extremely tired, he willed himself to go on, for his body to not give up until his mind had. He raced into the Sandlot, only to see Heartless attacking people. "Here, too?" he asked. Even in a place such as the Sandlot, a place where friendly competitions often occurred, there were attacks on the town. Using what little magic Caleb had left inside of him, he attempted to summon his katana. A small sphere of light appeared, but when it cleared it was not his katana; he had summoned a small sword. Apparently he didn't have enough magic left for his favourite weapon. "This'll have to do" he said simply. He dashed over to a heartless and slashed across it quickly, destroying the dark creature.

"I can't believe it actually worked." Kaya thought to herself, impressedby her ability to trick this young girl. "I just need you to sneak in and help get my sister out. Trick them or use stealth, I don't care I just want her back. I can't go in myself because I am sure my brother has spread lies about me, calling me evil, warning them to kill me. It is too risky for me. You on the other hand will pose no threat to them, you should be fine. Please, please help me... no help her. Do it for Sapphire." Kaya begged Lysa.
    [IMG][IMG]
Louvel turned on the spot and began to use his wind magic to create a tornado of air around him. He ran by a few heartless and nobodies and they got caught in his tornado, once there was a fair amount he jumped up and began attacking them as quickly as he could since the tornado wouldn't last much longer and they where no longer suspended vulnerable in mid air.
By Kel's lack of response Azurite knew he could handle the heartless that lay before them. That didn't stop him from helping though. He began to fight alongside Kel trying to keep up with his heartless count. It didn't work so well when he saw another person run into the sandlot. "You there state your business." He called out to the young man who had just arrived.

With Caleb gone, running off in search of Gexln, his presence was replaced with another of the darks; Xross, who had apparently been godmodded there. He could assume that either he had finished the scouting mission, or not gone on it at all, being that Kaya and Ruby were insistent on doing so. He handed the stone back to Brant before speaking to Xross. He was no thief, and the stone was Brant's after all. "Follow me. We'll continue this in the basement." He said, pacing off to the location he'd mentioned.

Xindai laughed insanely as Xero had her breakdown, getting a morbid sense of enjoyment out of it. With his power over the mind, he knew full well what she was seeing. He knew the distraught and pain she felt, and enjoyed every minute of it. Although the air around him dived into a much more serious feel when she asked him her last question. He glared at her, grabbing her by the cheeks and holding her eyes in contact with his. They were were bright yellow, burning with something that resembled anger. At least one was. The other was cold and dead, being solid black. It was totally lifeless, as though not even there. "There is a monster in all of us." He said in a deep tone from beneath the mask. He threw her face to the side and began what he'd brought them here for. They would be able to feel their very minds being penetrated. Every secret they held, ever memory in their brains, every sight they'd ever seen, everything was being searched over. One wouldn't be able to help but feel violated by this. Xindai, however, was rendered immobile during this process. Not that he needed to move much right now. All he needed to do was think, and all their minds contained was now his to view.

R handed the cube back to Brant. Brant was more then a little surprised, if the cube was so powerful then why wouldn't R keep it for himself? Then another guy appeared before them. 'Great, another guy. Who's side he on?' Brant thought to himself.
"Follow me. We'll continue this in the basement." R said pacing off to the basement. Brant looked at the direction R was heading to and looked back at the direction Caleb went to. 'Maybe I should have went with him. He was pretty beat up.' Brant thought to himself. He did want to know more about the dark presence and what was going, so he followed behind R, but kept his distance from Xross.

Gexln stopped. He had remembered something, something that could be of use to him. "How could I have forgotten?" he asked himself. He sat down. "I know how to find her" Gexln said. Focusing for a brief moment, he began the process he had remembered. Provided he was familiar with the scent of a person's darkness, he could locate them almost anywhere. He'd only done it with people that embraced the darkness though, never trying it with someone who had a great dislike for it. After a few minutes, he had found it. He stood up. "Just hold on a little longer, i'm on my way" he said quietly. Opening up a dark corridor, he shoved Verox into it and then followed through himself.

Kaxar was writhing and squirming around trying to get free, but still it didn't help. She couldn't help but think of the last time she had felt fear this strong; the moment Glen became Gexln. She could feel Xindai pushing against her mind, searching through her memories. She let out a scream out of pure fear.

Caleb cut through another heartless. His was running on what little energy he had, soon he wouldn't be able to continue. Puffing from exhaustion, he responded to Azurite's question. "I'm protecting this town. This is my home, I live here. Who the hell..." he began as another heartless jumped at him. With an enormous heave he threw the creature to the ground and stabbed it. "Are you?" he finished.

Lysa bites her lower lip and nods, turning and then dashing into the castle without another word. She jumps a moment after entering, rotating in mid-air and then landing feet-first on the ceiling. Using her gravity-based powers to alter her own interaction with the World's gravity, she runs silently along the ceiling, keeping an eye out for any clues as to where Sapphire was being held, and for the Lights, whom she held no distaste for, and having no desire for a confrontation with them.

Xero felt Xindai enter her mind as he searched through her memories. Her fists clenched tightly as she endured the pain in her head. Her head pounded and hurt more and more each second. She saw everything Xindai saw as he raided her mind. Xero felt helpless for the first time in years. She saw that Xindai had saw her memories of when Xehanort's Heartless was within her and all of the battles she endured of his possessing spirit. The times when she felt that she couldn't do a thing when she was possessed by Xehanort's Heartless, he saw all of it. One of the things she swore never to look back on.

Xero hated feeling helpless and most of all powerless. Just like the times with Xehanort's Heartless, here she can't do anything once again. She slammed her back and head into the back of the chair as she screamed at the top of her lungs as tears began running down her face, her eyes shut tight.

Annabelle suddenly got a shiver up her spine. "Your Majesty, I feel as though someone may come in and try to take Sapphire... We'll want to be careful." She didn't know who it was, nor how her sister or Kaya could have potentially convinced anyone to help them. If worse came to worse, she was Possesed by darkness. They would have to be very careful...

Gexln stopped at the exit of the dark corridor. He turned to Verox. "Once we step through here, we'll have to be quick. I don't know anything about the guy that took them, but if he took them he'd have to have a reason" he said. Verox nodded in agreement, still not quite able to get over the fact that Gexln WASN'T being a prick about something. Gexln took a deep breath. Breaking into a run, Gexln hurried out of the dark corridor and onto the surface of the world Inwonahe, Verox following closely behind. The first thing he saw was something he had dreaded, but not entirely expected; Xero and Kaxar restrained to a chair each, both clearly afraid.

Gexln ran over to Kaxar's chair and quickly cut the restraints with Darkness' Sorrow, Verox doing the same with Xero's restraints. Kaxar got up and quickly stepped away from Xindai, still fearing the dark creator. Turning to look at Xindai now, Gexln was about to speak, but Verox cut him off. "What were you doing to them?" he questioned in a somewhat angry tone. Gexln's grip tightened around Darkness' Sorrow, every part of his being wanting to run Xindai through with it for upsetting Kaxar so much. He growled a little. Whether what he did to her was good or not, i'm going to kill this guy for what he's done Gexln thought to himself.

Xero only sat in the chair motionless with her upper body hanging forward as she starred at the ground, her eyes filled with tears. She dug her nails into the ends if the arm rests as she remembered the painful memories of Xehanort's Heartless. Xero shuttered as she dug them deeper into them, her tears kept falling as they wet the floor with small drops. She hated Xindai for making her remember such a traumatic experience that she wanted to forget. Xero remembered it all like it was yesterday, and she hated it so much.

Xero stood up from the chair weakly as she still looked at the ground. She slowly walked over to Xindai as her body trembled; her face was wet from tears and her red eyes looked directly at Xindai with a rather angery expression. "How dare you..." She managed to quietly croak out in a raspy tone, "Going through my deepest memories... And making me remember the one memory I swore to never remember...." Her fists clenched and more tears began running down her face, "What is it you're looking for?!" She shouted.

"Me? Just some guy that wanted to find out what sort of a place a former friend of mine dumped her poor little sister. Us as a whole? A group of keyblade wielders sent to protect this town from the heartless and nobody." Azurite answered Caleb as he took out a nobody followed by two heartless. It seemed like no matter how many they killed more just kept showing up.
Louvel wasn't going to talk to anyone during the battle, he was here to complete his mission then head back. He didn't like having to leave his sister even though he knew the king could be trusted. Louvel jumped up and came straight down on a heartless causing a gust of wind to throw other heartless back and some to become unstable for a second giving him time to attack them without having to worry about them attacking him back.

Meanwhile, locked in the room by herself, Sapphire had fallen asleep. Her face was red and tear stained from crying earlier and with her energy not fully restored from earlier she had found herself quite tired. There was nothing she could do now but sleep. The room was empty, she was locked in. She had lost both her weapons during the battle earlier. She was hopeless unless she used the darkness which she thought would be no use to her at the moment. She would occasionally turn in her sleep but for the most part was still. No one to look at her now would think she dangerous. More like an innocent 12 year old trapped in a 16 year olds body. And after all she had been through some doctors might say that too.

"Impossible." The King said. "No one should be able to find this place." He continued. The King had no reason to assume anyone was in the building, he had to choose whether or not to trust this young girl who had just arrived. "Be on your guard. They have to come through here to get to her so we will stop them here if your suspicions are correct." The king told Annabelle. "Besides that room is locked with a spell once in you can't get out, if this person happens to make it in there she will be trapped, unable to escape unless I free them." The king assured.

Hearing voices, Lysa quickly 'drops' to her stomach, laying flat on the ceiling as she breathes slowly and quietly, then she begins to slowly crawl along the ceiling, heading toward the voices, hoping that they would be at least near Sapphire. Lysa is far from an expert at the art of stealth, but her unique abilities and childhood as a thief do give her a slight advantage. All it would take from Mickey or Annabelle would be one glance up and her cover would be ruined, but the diminutive girl was making no noise at all.

[IMG]Due to being so immersed into the task at hand, Kel didn't even notice that Azurite was trying to talk to him. Though it seemed like it didn't matter too much since he went to talk with another new comer after assisting him with some of the heartless. While he wouldn't say it out loud, he was glad that he was assisted him. It made dealing with the heartless in front of him a lot easier without having to worry about any attacks from behind. Kel didn't remain distracted for long, as he took another heartless before him.

[IMG] While Xross had no idea where he'd come from or how he got there, he just went ahead and followed behind R.

Caleb stopped for a second. Sent to protect the town? Had there been someone that had known beforehand that Twilight Town would be attacked? His thoughts returned to the battle at hand. The heartless weren't stopping or slowing down, and due to his already fatigued state Caleb probably wasn't going to last much longer. "Who sent you?" he asked. He heard a swift, rustling movement to his right-hand side. He quickly turned to see another heartless. Reacting quickly, Caleb thrust his sword into the heartless, but the creature didn't die. Caleb pulled the sword out of the creature. It was bleeding darkness, something he hadn't seen before. On top of that, his sword had broken, so he now held the hilt of a blade. He threw it down in disgust. There was only one thing to do. Ignoring the fact he had no magic left, he began drawing upon the power of his own lifeforce, a truly dangerous thing to do, and summoned his katana once more. He began coughing and spluttering, small drops of blood forming on the ground that he coughed on. He used his katana and slashed at the heartless, destroying it. He then collapsed onto one knee, barely able to stand.

Xero stood there waiting for an answer from the masked man who she now strongly loathed. She couldn't stop replaying the memory in her head, the memory of Him. She held her head in pain from what happened moments ago and almost fell over from sudden dizziness. 'Wha--' Xero knelt down on her knees and still held her head. 'Why does it hurt so much...?'

Darkness surrounded her and there was a platform just out of reach in front of her. Roe was standing on this air as she looked at her friend that had just entered the area, "Imiri." Roe called to her as the girl looked around like a lost puppy. Imiri turned towards her and smiled, "Roe!" She called out with a relieved smile. She ran towards Roe and almost tripped over the edge as she realized she was standing out in the open on thin air. Roe looked at her with slight sadness in her eyes as she looked down below her; it was nothing but a black void of fog and darkness.

Roe chuckled to herself quietly, "Are you ready?" she said as she took a step further away from the platform. Imiri just looked at her worried, "But... What if I fall?" She asked as she cautiously looked down into the void. Roe smiled and looked at Imiri with gentle eyes, "You won't. Just accept him... Accept the darkness." Imiri looked at Roe wide eyed, "Darkness...? Roe, what are you-- No... you didn't. Tell me you didn't accept the darkness!" Imiri's eyes began to water as she stared at her friend in shock. Roe looked away and spoke calmly, "He won't let us fall... The darkness won't hurt you, it will only make you stronger. Don't you want to become stronger too, Imiri?" Imiri shook her head, "I don't want to be strong! I want to be a good person! Imiri argued.

Roe looked back over to her friend with a disappointed look as she began to walk towards the giant platform. Once she stepped onto it, clouds of darkness were manifesting at her feet. Imiri felt a pain in her chest as Roe stepped onto the platform, "Roe... I.. I'm sorry. But I can't do it... I have the Keyblade and it's my job to protect the worlds from the darkness..." Roe's eyes narrowed, "A Keyblade? Why would you have one of those?" Imiri summoned her Keyblade and tears ran down her face, "I'm sorry, Roe."

Imiri began running towards Roe with her weapon in hand, she slashed at Roe when she got close enough but Roe easily dodged it. Darkness then began manifesting in Roe's hand and a scythe was formed from the darkness. Once Roe summoned her weapon, she parried with Imiri's Keyblade and pushed her away; but Imiri then jumped up and tried attacking from above. Roe jumped out of the way and as Imiri landed, her Keyblade slammed into the stained glass on the platform.

Imiri stood up and looked at her friend sadly, "You can become apart of the light again! Just push the darkness out of you! Please Roe! Don't make me do this!" Roe suddenly felt something inside her stirring, she grabbed her chest in pain and dropped her weapon. She began gasping and wheezing as she fell to her knees. Imiri looked at her friend wide eyed as Roe looked back up at her. Her eyes were a haunting orange color and Roe suddenly was yelling out in pain.

"Roe!" Imiri shouted as she ran to help her friend but something blocked her path. It was almost like some sort of invisible force that kept her from getting any closer to Roe. Suddenly her friend stopped yelling and was sitting on her knees motionless in front of Imiri. Imiri tried taking another step forward again and was successful at getting closer. She knelt down in front of her friend worried, "Roe...?" She reached her hand out towards her friend to move the hair out of her face but suddenly she started laughing. Imiri jumped backwards and held her weapon ready to attack.

Roe slowly stood up and looked up at Imiri with her orange eyes as she grinned, "You're pathetic." Roe's voice was suddenly not her own, but mixed with a man's voice. Imiri was wide eyed, Y-you! I-it's you! The Seeker of Darkness!" Imiri's voice cracked in fear for not only for her friend, but for her life as well.
