The Final War, Light Vs Dark

A small, beat-up looking Gummi ship floats between worlds. With a sleek, aerodynamic design, it looks almost like a military craft, though it is heavily damaged; three of the four underwing-mounted cannons had been shot off, leaving blackened craters in the ship's maroon surface. Blast scorches criss-cross the ship's fuselage, and the black cockpit canopy has a visble spiderweb of cracks on the port side.
"Nice and easy now," murmurs the sandy-haired girl in the craft's cockpit, her slender fingers wrapped around the centre-stick, gently tilting it to bring the craft into a gentle banking manuver as she descended toward Radiant Garden. Lysa, the girl in the ship's cockpit, slowly lets off the throttle, bringing her Gummi Ship into a hover before tapping the button to lower the landing gear.
A loud crash sounds out as some obscure part in the ship snaps off and drops to the stone pavement below, the ship itself is soon on the ground, tilted slightly due to the fact that one of the landing struts is now just a little shorter than the other two.
Lysa winces at the noise of her ship falling apart, then she pops the cockpit canopy, inhaling the fresh, icy air of Radiant Garden.

 

R slowly took the the potion from Kaya and poured it into his mouth. The healing properties of it eased the pain in his body, but he was still in no condition to fight. It seemed both sides were down quite a few in numbers. "Kaya, listen to me. Remember everything i taught you. An overpowering force can be a great asset, but should it prove ineffectual, remain calm and alter your strategy." R said to his pupil. It would seem they were about to find out just how much her training paid off. The only light left. The one that had been fighting him along with the white haired man who mega flared him.

Beuce laid on the ground and rubbed his forehead, groaning. "Not cool man..." He laid on the floor for a few minutes, trying to regain his composure. luckily it seemed R was still down, but kaya was helping him. "Kaya, baby, Y U so cold?" Beuce said to her, spreading his arms as if to invite her to come hug him. The chances of this happening were less likely than winning the lottery 100 times in a row, but he still tried.

Emerald jumped out the window, turning her keyblade into it's glider form right next to her. Her glider was composed of a seat, and a board in front of her, resembling a keyboard (the instrument). "Let's go!" She said, then began flying off

 

Lysa winces as she glances down at Louvel, smiling weakly, "oh... yeah... I'm alright... it does that all the time... no... seriously, it does," she mutters, slinging her bow over her shoulder before she gracefully hoists herself out of the cockpit and drops to the pavement, a few meters below. Rather than falling as most would have done, the girl seems to float down like a feather in the breeze, obviously utilizing magic of some sort.

She turns her gaze back to Louvel, brushing her leggings off as she does so, "That's a pretty neat letter cutter you have there," she jests, tilting her head and motioning with her eyes and eyebrows to indicate Louvel's keyblade, which was, presumably, still in his hands.

Gexln was walking on the ground now, having abandoned the clock tower. Doubts about finding a challenger were entering his mind now, as he walked along the road and towards Tram Common. He decided to take a break, simply sitting down against a wall near the entrance to Tram Common. A thought had entered his mind, a thought that he had not had for quite a while; a thought about Kara.

Spoiler: Flashback

Gexln was standing in front of his previous best friend Kara, Darkness' Sorrow raised but not in such a way that it was threatening. Kara appeared to be very stressed and upset, while Gexln remained visually calm. Kara had tears coming from her eyes and her keyblade, True Light's Flight, was on the ground in front of her, having just been beaten in a battle by Gexln; a battle that's purpose was for Kara to try and bring back her friend Glen.

"Who are you?!" Kara yelled. Gexln looked at her, his expression deadly serious. "I am the Nobody that will surpass all others, i am the one that will bring death to any and all who threaten me or my goal, i am Gexln, the Nobody of the Dark" he responded, his voice sounding almost threatening. He lifted up Darkness' Sorrow for Kara to see clearly. "And this is my only friend, the one that will help me to achieve that" he declared.

Kara couldn't take it anymore. The Glen she used to know was definately not here, Glen had clearly become the warrior known as Gexln, there was nothing she could do at the moment. "What happened to my friend?" she asked, her voice quiet but clearly having trouble holding back more tears. Gexln said nothing, turning to walk away from Kara, his opponent defeated. "You'll never be strong, because Glen's determination was stronger than yours ever was! Why are Nobodies such monsters?!" She yelled, out of sheer desperation in the hopes somewhere deep down Glen would hear her. Gexln stopped in such a fashion that it was somewhat obvious that her insults had hit home. In a brief movement, almost instantaneously, he was in front of her, the fury all too clear in his eyes as he raised Darkness' Sorrow.

"You want to know why we're monsters? Well, you'll find out yourself!" he yelled furiously, stabbing Darkness' Sorrow through the person he had once regarded as his only friend. Kara said nothing, her heart being released to the darkness within and her eyes wide in shock. Her tears had stopped, as had her breathing, as her lifeless body fell to the ground, the one known as Kara no longer alive, but making way for the Nobody Kaxar, to make her appearance.

A single tear went down Gexln's face involuntarily; perhaps somewhere deep down Glen was saddened by the memory, or perhaps Gexln had cared more about Kara than he had let on, he wasn't sure which it was. He stood up, brushing himself off. In the time he had spent sitting down there, a couple of hours had passed. Time he could not afford to waste if he was to search for an opponent of worth. He continued walking to Tram Common.

Kaxar had reached the square now. Part of her wanted to go further, but she had a feeling that she should wait where she was. The last memory she had of making a decision like this, was when Kara had ignored her gut instinct and shouted at Gexln. And look where that got her she thought to herself. She decided to listen to the gut instinct, and waited. "Hello? Is anybody there?" she called out, hoping to catch someone's attention.

 

"Then you both should tag along, I'm sure that'll make Beuce happy." There were a few more attempts that he was willing to do depending on their reaction before starting plan B.

Zwei soon arrived at Radient Garden, following behind Louvel. The beat up gummy ship did grab some attention. Though Louvel seemed already be investigating it, so he didn't need to worry about it too much.

"The less power that the lights have, the better." Xross replied.

Kaxar smiled at Azurite, she enjoyed meeting new people. "Hello, i'm Kaxar!" she greeted cheerfully. Apparently, her gut instinct had paid off. She then realized he had actually asked a question before introducing himself to her. "No. Well, uh, kinda. I don't suppose you've seen one of..." she started. She summoned her keyblade, True Light's Flight, and held it out horizontally for Azurite to see. "These before?" she finished.

 

"I see, but what if his training fails, what will you do then?" Kel questioned. If he could just keep her talking long enough, then she'll never see his distraction coming.

"Look Lu, they aren't my responsibility, okay? I know they mean well, and I am grateful that they helped me, but I'm not gonna endanger my sister anymore. Who knows what Ruby did to her!" garnet pleaded with her friend.

"Well if that's how you'll go about it, then fine. You be a coward and let everyone die." Luna said, a lot more intensely than usual. "I'm not giving those guys up for anything. You may have taken out your sister, but that's only temporary and R is still alive!" Luna turned around and fled back to the Castle.

"I... Um..." Garnet turned to both sides, then decided to follow Luna. "Darn it..." She put Annabelle down behind a bush, fast asleep. Then again, leaving her here alone was more of a threat than having her along. "Come on Belle." She picked her up and ran back with Luna.

 

Rexitus nodded to Lexain. "Looks like our job here is done." Rexitus said sternly as he opened a dark portal, and walked inside. Lexeain looked a Xross, and said "Come on," as she followed Rexitus inside.

 

R watched as the light began attempting to sway them to join him. "The path they've chosen is clear" R stated to Kel. A fight seemed to be about to ensue. He watched Sapphire carefully. He may not have been able to use the darkness to it's fullest extent, but he still had his keyblade. An injured defender was better than no defender at all. Only one thing turned his gaze from the girl he was defending. A corridor of darkness opening in the side of the room. A wave of relief washed across him. Xross and the nobodies had returned from their mission.

";.;" Replied Beuce to Kaya's refusal to hug him. Kel was attemting to talk his way out of the situation, and Beuce hoped it worked too. Because then not only would they not have to fight them, as Beuce was very exhausted and his head was still spinning from the hit Iaso had dealt. but Kaya would come back with them.

"Wow, this thing has seen better days..." Emerald said looking at the beat up gummi ship. In all honesty, it was a piece of crap. "You know, I know a guy here. He's a bit of a wiz on Gummi ships, I could ask him to try and fix this up for you if you want"

 

Lysa tilts her head to the side, "what happened to who?" she asks, turning to look down at the town behind her and her semi-crashed ship, "can I help you with anything? I don't know any Kayas or Saphires, but I'd be glad to help look for them."

The girl brushes a lock of sandy-blond hair out of her eyes and turns back to Louvel, the cockpit canopy of her ship closing on its own, sealing itself against intruders. Her gaze slides over to Emerald, "yeah, that might be a good idea, I'm definitely not an expert at this stuff."

 

"Some might've chosen, but not all." Kel said in response to R's words. He could still sense some light inside Sapphire, which proved that she still hadn't fully made his decision. Still, before he could say anything else, he was greeted by someone shocking to him.

"Well, well, well. The false hero returns." Xross said, returning to his old mocking voice. After what had just happen, he could use someone to blow off some steam and Kel fit that role perfectly.
Zwei remained silent for the first few interaction between Louvel and the girl. "Well, we do have time to kill." He said.

It was only now that Kaxar looked a little sad, the memories of Kara and Gexln still feeling fresh in her memory, as though it had happened only yesterday. "So you do. I've heard people say...that keyblades have the power to free people from the darkness, but i don't even know where to start. There's someone i need to bring back, someone that my somebody was once friends with, someone deep in the darkness. But, i'm not sure how" she said, sounding somewhat sad as she spoke. As quickly as it had come, the sadness dissappeared from her face and her warm smile replaced it. "So, any clues?" she asked.

 

Iaso suddenly awoke from passing out. He jolted up for no reason at all then being kicked from a deep sleep of exhaustion. He rubbed his head and his keyblade vanished from his hand. "Today is just not my day...", Iaso said as he struggled to stand. He looked at the man he had saved from Buece's attack. "Can't a guy get a thanks around here? Even just a 'You okay?' as he drools on the floor?", Iaso questioned the man while suffering a pain induced headache. Iaso fell to a kneeled stance due to the pain from his head. "What is even going on anyway?", he asked in a bit of a muffled tone as he held his head.

 

Lexeain and Rexitus stood shocked, but not for long. Rexitus criss-crossed his arms then threw them outward, letting out a huge chunk energy. Dark smoke seeped from his shoulders. He summoned his the Sidewinder Keyblade, the blade began to fill with color, and it began to look a bit more ferocious. The blade turned from monochrome grey to purple. The clock's hour hand spun from 9 to 12, lining up with the minute hand, and the clock turned red. A red eye at the hilt of the blade opened up in a slit, looking at both friend and foe. The Sidewinder, had become Rexitus's first Keyblade as a child: The Corrupted Timekeeper
Rexitus emitted a growl as his eyes turned red, and his darker, more marvolent side took partial control of his body. The
The world also started to change. The walls around the Castle turned a dull brown. Pipes and computers broke. Mirrors and windows shattered. Any electronic devices in the room broke and began to emit high static. Only certain exits can be opened. No one was going to get away very easily. The entire Castle groaned as Rexitus made it part of the Otherworld effect. This change in enviornment happens in a trigger of Rexitus's emotions. And right now, he was angry.

Lexeain, summoned her Keyblade, The Abraxas Valkyrie, and snapped her fingers, summoning Angel Nobodies. Her eyes turned green, and she said to R, "We can take this motely crew. Stay back and take care of your wounded."
Rexitus twiched and his crazy side snarled, "Not one of you is going to survive this!" As he charged at Kel, summoning two of the same Keyblade

 

R watched as the nobodies released their true power. It was indeed a sight to behold. They would likely be able to handle Kel, but R could sense light drawing closer. The two who had abandoned their teammates were drawing closer, returning to help them. Still, with the addition of the man who had just awoken, they outnumbered them. But they were able to defeat Ruby and Annabelle, they weren't to be taken lightly. He looked over at the man who had previously been unconscious for some inexplicable reason "The situation calls for our attention. I'll explain it to you afterwards." R responded.

Beuce rolled his eyes at Iaso whining about not being thanked, begging for sympathy. "shaddap would ya?" Beuce said, grabbing the empty potion bottle which previously contained the potion R drank and chucked it at the back of his head. "God what is he secretly a nobody and his power is whining? is that his backstory?" Beuce groaned mockingly to no one in particular. It was then he noticed the change in scenery. "Oh...Well that's not good..." He used his keyblade to push himself to his feet, knowing full well Kel wouldn't be able to take on four darks alone.

Beuce was getting back up, this wasn't good. R was trying to refrain from doing this, but he didn't have much of a choice. If he could only get back into the fight, they'd probably be able to win. The nobodies weren't the only ones with a hidden power. He reluctantly called out the name of his ability. "Dark Siphon" As the name was called out, the darkness in the room began flowing toward him. The darkness that sustained Sapphire's dark mode, the darkness which fueled any dark firagas Kaya would fire off, the dark smoke which flowed from Rexitus' shoulders, and the most of all, the darkness that warped the area. The move was relentless and hungry, draining all the darkness in the area into it's user, rejuvenating him. The obvious drawback of using this was that his allies were drained. Slowly, R climbed to his feet, looking around at his allies to make sure no one was too badly affected by his move.

 

Lysa nods to Louvel, "alright, sounds like a good cause, damsel in distress and all that," she jests, placing her hand on the crecent-shaped pommel of her sword. "You seem to be pretty well armed, are you expecting a fight from this 'Kaya' sister?" she asks, "because I'm good to have in a fight, I know how to handle myself."
