The Final War, Beyond All Limits

"do you want me to carry you?" Phenox asked.

 

"n-no i'm all right."
she tried to walk but collapsed on the ground.
violet looked up at him.
"i suppose, if it isn't too much trouble."

 

"no trouble at all." Phenox picked Violet up and started walking.

 

violet held onto her arm as phenox carried her.
"what was all of that about?"

 

"they tried to eliminate us. simple as that. we are in their way and they want us gone." Phenox explained.

 

"right..."
violet cringed in pain.
"are we almost to the hide out? i'm not sure i can last any longer."

 

"almost." Phenox fell to one knee. he was careful to keep a hold of Violet. "that battle took a lot out of me..."

 

"He wants us to fall back?" Demyx had heard what Xemnas had said and he stood back wondering why when Axel and him had the advantage to go after this guy. "Boss? What does he mean by that? Does he know something that Axel and I do not?" He said outloud walking in another direction.

 

Xemnas warped straight to the meeting room and waited for everyone else. "i should've retreated sooner..." Xemnas muttered.

 

Demyx appeared Where Nothing Gathers and sat on his throne not sure why the boss had retreated. "Boss what is going on? Why did you call us here?" He asked.

 

violet looked at him through half open eyes.
"yea...?"
before they were completely back to the hideout, violet fell unconcious in phenox's arms.

lexitov followed behind the others and took her seat on one of the thrones.
she sat silently waiting for the leader to speak.

 

Xemnas looked around at everyone. "Ansem is following Phenox and that girl even as we speak. i warn you all... if you are in a fight with them... and they summon clones... i don't normally recommend this but... retreat..."
Phenox looked down at Violet and smiled warmly. once they reached the hideout, Phenox was horrified by what he saw.

 

Demyx was surprised that Xemnas would even say such a thing. Retreat? The boss didn't know the meaning of the word. "Um are you sure that is something you would do boss? This guy can't be all that bad."

 

lexitov raised an eyebrow at the superior's notion.
i cant believe i'm thinking this, but demyx does have a point. retreat isn't something his superiorness normal speaks of.

 

Demyx waited in silence and kept shaking his head not liking the whole idea to begin with. "No tell me you're joking. No one can ever beat the leader of the organization."

 

Xemnas sighed. "those nano bots are trouble... me, number VIII, and number IX are the only ones who haven't been hit by them."

 

Axel scoffed at the conversation that they were having. He could not believe the words that were coming out Xenmas mouth. "I am not afraid of a bunch of clones. Clones are weaker than the oringal selves because they think they would know our moves, but we react differently," he argued banging his hands on his arm rest of his chair.

 

"number VIII, that's not what he's planning. sure, clones separately... we can take care of... but together..."

 

Axel laid back in his chair from his answer though he wasn't entirely calm at the moment. "Then what do we need to be afraid of then?" He asked his eyes narrowing slightly.

 

Xemnas glared. "not much..... JUST A POWERFUL BEING WHO'S POWER RIVALS ALL OF OURS!!!!!!!" Xemnas shouted.
