The Final Stand (Conclusion To The Final War, Beyond All Limits)

Scarlet waved, smiling. Turning, she started to explore again. Getting to a garden, she looked around. "Amazing.... It's nothing like our gardens back at home..." She started to look around, going deeper inside.

 

Phenox layed in a bed and went to sleep.

Scarlet smiled looking around. Suddenly she heard a twig snap behind her. "Huh? Who's there?!" She span around, looking into the greenery. Waiting awhile, she then shrugged and turned back around.
BLAM.
Next thing she knew, Scarlet was lying in the fountain on her back, blood pouring from her. "W.....What.....?"

 

Phenox awoke to the sound. "What?"

 

Scarlet's eyes widened. She couldn't feel her heartbeat.
A black shadow stood over her, watching ehr with it's bright yellow eyes.
"H-Heart...les...s..." Scarlet spat up blood.

 

Phenox looked out the window and saw Scarlet. "SCARLET!!!" He jumped out the window. He ran over to her and transformed. He knocked the heartless away.

 

Scarlet watched Phenox fighting the Heartless.
Odette ran out with guards, seeing the fight. "You! Secure the area! You make sure there's no more Heartless!" She ran over to Scarlet, looking at her. "Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay."
Scarlet nodded, spitting out more blood.

 

Phenox's wings spread out wide. His claws grew larger. He killed all heartless that dared oppose him. He growled. "They're here..." He turned to a group of guards. "All units! Battle stations! Tell everyone!"

The guards ran off.

"Medics! Help the girl. I have a war to fight." He flew away.

 

Medics ran in, helping Scarlet onto a stretcher and taking her away.
Odette went with her.
Reaching the medical wing, the medics laid Scarlet on a bed and started to treat her wounds.

 

Xemnas and Ansem stood on a cliff watching the Heartless and Nobodies fight the soldiers.

Phenox flew up to them. "You baastards!" He shouted.

Ansem laughed. "Well, hello. Long time, no see."

"Stuff it." Phenox charged at the two.

 

"Wait." Odette said. Walking over to Scarlet, she pointed at her chest.
There was a massive hole where her heart should be. Only, she had no heart.
"No....." One of the medics whispered.
Scarlet looked at Odette. "Am I..... g-going to.... d.... die.....?"

 

Phenox slashed Ansem across the face and blocked Xemnas' blades.

 

"I don't know Scarlet. I just don't know."
"I am, aren't I?" Scarlet frowned. "You can..... stop hiding st.....uff from me...." She laughed slightly. "It's funny.... how.... I us...ed to talk.... about death.... so lightly.... but it's not.... It's cold..... scary....."

 

Ansem held his bleeding face and summoned his staff.

"Enough." Xemnas said. "We have what we need." He warped away. Ansem followed.

Phenox warped to the medic room. He ran to Scarlet's side and changed back.

 

Cooper noticed some commotion coming down from a planet below. It didn't look good. He decided he might help out. He set his Gummi Ship to land near where the commotion was coming from.

As Cooper landed, he grabbed his two swords in his hands and put his guitar behind his back. He then noticed that what was going on seemed to have stopped. "What happened here?" said Cooper to himself. "It looked like there was a war or something..."

Phenox hugged her tightly, holding back tears.

"Heh.... you're not.... one.... to cry..... Ph.... Phenox...." Scarlet looked at him. "D-Do me... a fa....vour? If..... you s-see....... my Nobody..... don't kill..... it...." She smiled slightly.

 

Mallum was watching the veiwscreen, Genservant was confronting a maniac swordsman.
I should go put him out of his misery, Mallum thought, before hearing the sound of Xemnas and Ansem returning. Dang it, got to go get new orders!
Mallum then walked out of his room, bowing to his masters: "Your dark Assasin has retuned, what are your orders?"
