The Final Dirge

"He wasn't really," Dyran said. "But I heard later that he'd been killed...and was turned into....oh, what was it called...ah, a Nobody! But I've never met a Nobody...Unless Luxord was already a Nobody by the time I met him." He shrugged. "But like I said, Luxord wasn't evil. He was just.......a gambler. Life to the dice."

He looked around. "We should probably either go to the towers or go through that crevasse."

He pointed away from the cliff. "It looks like one of the only ways out."

 

Ok lets go then. Mayya passed between the both of them and started walking

 

Dyran shrugged and motioned to the other members. Together they began walking.

OOC: Where are we going again? To the towers or the crevasse?

As they walked in the crevass, Mayya said "It is so dark in here" and erupted light from her hand

 

Dyran shivered. "And rather cold..."

After some time, the crevasse expanded and Dyran found himself stumbling onto a ridge, with sunlight pouring on him. Sounds of swords clashing caused his head to drag away from the long drop that stood in front of him.

 

"mind if i tag along"she appered behid them

 

" Why would there be a fight in a place like this..." Gale thought as he heard the sound of swords clanging in the distance. He drew his own, just as a precaution.

 

Dyran look out.
Mayya made a light rope and grabbed his leg before he dropped

 

Dyran started. "Yeah! The more the merrier."

He moved towards the sound of fighting, up the ridge. At the top of the ridge, where it ascended heavily and topped off on some kind of stone platform, two men were slicing at each other with their swords.

One seemed cool and collected, sword held in an almost casual embrace of the handle. The handle was bent and had a trigger on it. The man had long brown hair and a scar across his face.

The second one seemed almost fierce in comparison. His sword flashed angrily every time he struck. Sparks flew from the force of his blows. The sword had a long handle, and had a small crimson gem set into the base of the blade, but other than that it was plain and unadorned. Brown hair was cropped short and green eyes stared ferociously out at the first man.

The first man spoke as the second drove him back. "Good, but calm down. You're wasting energy...so to speak. We're both expending, but remember the balance."

"They're practicing..." Dyran muttered increduously as the second nodded, and noticeably slowed his movements. "Never seen anyone that fierce in a practice before. Or with bared blades like that."

 

Gale quickly put away his sword before the two men saw he had it out.


"Maybe they can help us..."

 

What are they training for Mayya asked

 

"Who cares..." Kyrie muttered, she had been following them silently.

 

Dyran shrugged. "Probably to become a soldier or something. The guy with the brown hair certainly looks like it."

He followed Gale up the hill. "Hello," he said cheerfully. The two men stopped and turned.

The first bowed to them. "Hello, and welcome to Radiant Garden. My name is Squall Leonhart. My companion here is named Zane Lionheart." He grinned, seemingly at the coincidence of names.

 

"Nice to meet you." Gale said holding out a hand. He may be shy and introverted..but he was still polite.

 

"My name is Dyran Dirge."

Leon's eyebrows raised at the Dirge part, but smiled and shook both Gale's and Dyran's hands.

"What brings you to the city?" he asked.

 

Hi My name is Mayya Utasama. She handed her hand to Leon

 

Leon shook it. "Would you like to go the new hotel we have built?" he asked, motioning them towards newly furnished gates that led into a walled city close by. "They have excellent service."

 

Gale Nodded, walking ahead of the group behind Leon.
