358/2 Days The Final Boss

Then I've obviously missed that bit of information.. :x

Then Riku would be a final FINAL boss if it's single mode.

 

Well, the multiplayer mode has no real connection to the story lolol

 

I think its gonna be Riku because the game is probably gonna fill up certain holes taht were not cleared yet.

 

It's a pretty good chance it will be Riku, I really don't see anyone else unless they have the final battle then show cutscenens of the Riku fight...although that would just be lame, I want to fight Riku.

 

That would be VERY lame... especially as they said that the fight would be playable lol

 

I'm not thinking it's Riku for the reason most people are. A forced loss as the final battle!? How cheap would that be?

Now, I do think you'll fight Riku. KH2 basically shoves it in your face that there is a missing battle scene between the two. But that would also mean there is probably a time gap between those two fights and someone else will probably end up in there.

 

As I said earlier, Final Boss refers to the last boss EXCLUSIVELY... and also as I said earlier, Days is a game we already know the end of... cheap or not, repetitive or not, there is an OVERWHELMING chance that Riku is the Final Boss...

To explain why Final Boss refers solely to the last boss, I'll use FFIX as an example... Necron is the Final Boss, yet you don't even hear about him till after beating Kuja again, in Trance Form... Kuja is a MAJOR Boss, not the Final Boss for that very reason lol

 

Perhaps the Riku battle is a cut scene at the end of the game. Or maybe they even end the game before that with Roxas walking out on the Org. I don't know. But there are plenty of ways to have it end the same without you actually having to lose to Riku.

 

How many times do I have to say this? Roxas vs Riku was CONFIRMED ages ago...

 

Where? I'm usually good at keeping up with KH news and I've heard nothing regarding the final boss of 358/2 days from SE.

 

I've been trying to track down the thread it was in, but I guess I don't have the right sort of title in my head lol... But I distinctly remember reading that Roxas vs Riku would be playable in Days ages ago on this site... somewhere lol

 

Its gonna totally be Sephiroth!!! I can't figure out why though.......

 

I think that it might be a Riku fight before he transformed into the Xehanort's Heartless Form. Riku mentioned in KH2 that he tried to fight Roxas but couldn't beat him, he had to make sure the second time that he would be the victor.

 

As we saw in FMII, the two fights were one after the other... Besides, it's not like we haven't seen boss battles that, storyline wise, the player loses... Days is the story of how Roxas went from Organization XIII's golden boy... to DiZ's plaything...

 

I have not seen The Roxas Vs. Riku fight on FM, but is it possible that it was only concept?

 

I doubt it, considering that that scene was expanded for FMII... Putting it bluntly, it would be pretty silly for them to rewrite a new scene like that lol

 

If it were the Riku fight, you'd end up losing in the end anyway. Even though he practically won... o_o I really don't get that part... "I defeated a Riku once", "Riku lost." And when you see the scene, it's Roxas unconscious at the end. Well, it could always be only until the part Riku falls down and unties his blindfold... but I am actually hoping it's the new member... because that would clear up why she didn't appear anymore... either that or she left the Organization at some point. Both work.

 

Frankly, unless you fight XIV in Roxas' subconsious, that wouldn't happen... but if you did, that's not really fighting her is it? Personally, I think XIV is a 'secret' member... one that was never going to have a proof OR chair... or a real place in the Organization XIII, for that matter...

Though as a boss fight EARLIER in the game, that would make sense...

 

Well, yes, there is the thing with the chair, but anyway, I'm satisfied as long as you get to fight XIV in some point. I don't mind which point, I just hope it will be a challenge. Why? I have no idea... I suppose I just want the Organization members to be powerful.

 

I think Riku. It would be fun to fight him and Riku failiing (even though he is a very easy opponent).
