"you're pregnant? huh, meh really none of my businuess, but where's the father? shouldn't he be protecting you from them?" Alex asked pointing to the towns people, who were now glaring at him.

 

"He cant...he's dead...."she said

 

"damn, sorry about prying you don't ave to explain anymore..." Alex said astonished. He notices one of the villagers aproaching them with a pike, leaps at him, twisting the pike out of his hands and smashes him into a wall. "they really don't think you should be pregnant huh? oh well let's get going, i can always find work at the next town..."

"you okay? i guess you musta had a rough day do you want to go to a motel why i look for some work?" Alex asked realising exactly how distant she must feel.

 

she smiled "may as well..."she said

Sharix walked around the village.

Koji followed behind her. "we have to be careful you know."

"I know that."

 

"its so quiet here..."she said

 

"i know, this village was attacked a few years ago, and everyone's scared of weapons now, thoguh i still get just as much, if not more pay for some reason. though, i'd much rather not work here as it encourages war..." Alex explained sadly. "i'm gonna go get some work okay? don't open the door for anyone, the people in this town, though scared will attack strangers, in fact they try to so please don't open the door?"

 

she nodded,"I wont open it..."

 

"It's best for us to get some shelter- you know how bad people can be sometimes." Koji advices.

"alright, alright. How about that motle over there- maybe no one's in there." Sharix says.

 

she sighed sitting down
