A laughter had echoed throughout the entire ship, but it didn't fade into silence. Instead two voices could be heard having some sort of casual discussion about damsels in distress." @Moksha would you stop talking @Calxiyn ? It's killing my atmosphere."

Footsteps were heard as a silhouetted figure approached a ramp high up on the starboard side, "Hello there. Nice switchblade. Get it from @Sebax ?"

The figure walked down the ramp with their own knife drawn and looked at the time, "Well, it's only 11:30, so we've got a half hour to kill... unless you wanna use this half hour to kill?" there was a laugh that followed the question.

 

"Depends what we're killing I suppose." Al replied vaguely. Eyeing her suspiciously. He knew only that it was a her. That's all. Wait... her? A girl kidnapped Cal? "Well that's a plot twist." He muttered under his breath. He pushed back the hood and took off the Darth Revan cosplay mask he was wearing and showed his face to his foe.
"I figure that since we're going to be killing each other shortly we may as well get to know a face and a name. I'm Al, the person whose girl you stole?" He extended his left hand, because his right still held the knife, although it was lowered. "What do you say, thirty minute truce?"

The figure laughed at his comment, "I know who you are. Why else would you have gone through this?" to humor him, the figure placed down their hood to show their face, "Well I am known in this establishment as Cstar, but my actual name is Colleen. That isn't too important though." Colleen looked at Al's hand and then the one with the knife, "A 30 minute truce is fine I suppose. But I'll only shake on it if you drop your knife." to punctuate her point, Colleen dropped the knife in her hand and held both hands up, "I dropped mine."

 

"Fair enough." Al replied, placing the knife securely in his pocket with the blade folded in. He kept his hand far away from the pocket, to show that he didn't plan on any betrayals, as efficient as that might have been. He clasped Colleen's hand and shook it vigorously as he might have for any other friend of his. "Now that our little truce is done, what say we do now? We have these thirty minutes before someone goes to Davy Jones' locker, so what do we do with that time?" He leaned back, apparently far more relaxed now that the situation had been defused- At least for a time.

 

"Um... well..." Colleen scratched the back of her head, "I don't know, to be honest I thought you either would have stopped playing along by now or the thread would have been officially hijacked. So I didn't plan for a 30 minute gap." Colleen thought for a moment before replying, "So um... you like KotOR? How good are you at pazaak?"

 

Sebax watched the two in the dark. "Oh for the love of..." He groaned quietly. With grace and a wicked intent, Sebax used the darkness to close the distance between his blade and @al215 's back. He dared not bare his teeth in a smile nor even breathe so that he may be heard, but inside, he grinned like a Cheshire cat. 'So long, hero...' He thought to himself.

 

"@Calxiyn , hold on tight. We're gonna make a quick get away."

 

I grinnedcat the very mention of Pazaak.
"Pazaak? I'm the very God of Pazaak. I've beaten every single Pazaak challenge there is in all the games. I freaking loved the pazaak den stuff in KOTOR 2 because it gave me a chance to actually get something useful out of the damn game. The Champ is a horrendous cheat and I noticed on my recent playthrough that for some reason the chance of higher value cards increases causing more natural 20s to appear on the board. If I could, I'd give you a game right now." He waved the Darth Revan mask that he had with him.
"I'm guessing you noticed this. I'm kind of a Revan fanboy." He said. Tragically however, he was so caught up in his KOTOR fanboyism that he failed to notice the @Sebax creeping up behind him. Somewhere, in his deep subconscious a single thought heard and hoped that @cstar would save him...

 

Colleen had listened to Al's speech about pazaak, but heard @Lightning Farron in the background. Instead of sticking around, she ran off to the room she had tied @Calxiyn up in. She pulled a gun out of her coat and pointed it at the intruder and shouted, "Put her down or you're both dead!"

 

Sebax knew he had to strike now or strike never. Steels cut into @al215 's upper-shoulder; it wouldn't kill him, but as he pulled it our sharply...man, was that going to burn. Sebax brandished the knife and let it dance in his hand. He pulled a gun from out of his pocket. "You know that thing I said about guns? Well, dummy, I was quoting an everloving movie, and I'm a true "bleeder", you might say. Now then, are you going to give up honorably? Surrender and die." He had Al in his aim and lowered the brim of his black flat cap, sweat pouring from his black hair stubbled face.

 

Nights lay in wait in the shadows, taking in all the madness that had ensued, bearing nothing but a grin and a less than pertinent explanation as to how he arrived on this boat. "I knew this was going to turn out just lovely," he thought, as shivers ran down his spine from the pure enjoyment he was getting out of the insanity around him. "I don't even feel like fighting now, maybe I'll just sit back and watch," he finished his statement just as blood was drawn from @al215 by the cold uncaring blade of @Sebax. "Well, so much for that thought," Nights grabbed the hilt of the short-blade strapped to his side, "There's no way I'm missing out on this." With an opening he couldn't refuse, he dashed towards the one he refers to as mad hatter, Sebax, and drew his blade. With a motion that was almost instantaneous he made his strike and re-sheathed his blade. "Life isn't as fun when there's only one option," Nights grinned.

Sebax stood there, taken down to size and transfixed. His blade fell to the deck with a metallic din, and he clutched the spot where @Nights™ had nicked him; he was gutted right through the chest. There was so much blood on his hands, and it was all his. He just stood there for a moment more, and he looked over to Nights with a chilling, empty gaze. Just when he thought he could choke out a single syllable, he managed just one phrase before falling in a slump.

"Guess...who won't be getting...aghhhh, that fanfic..."

 

Al got to his feet and whipped around as he heard Sabex's odd words. The knife was in his right hand in a flash. The burning of his shoulder had been replaced by a dull ache.
"You deserved that." He said to the potentially dead @Sebax on the ground. He wanted to slit his throat for good measure, but first there was the crazy person that evidently stabbed him from behind. What the hell is going on? What do all these people have to do with Cal? What is this sick game? I'd better ask Colleen what's going on soon, but first... This guy. "What do you want? I'm content to leave you alone and finish this guy. He tried to kill me so it's only fair. Colleen the person who brought us here went that way. Take something up with her." He pointed helpfully in the direction she went, before kneeling down next to the downed Sebax, finding his throat with one hand. He deftly ran the silver switchblade over it. The perfect red smile running deep.

 

"Dead?" Lightning whispered at @cstar . "How could you possibly kill us both? Would that not go against your goal of capturing the Amal Canadian child that I have?"

 

"If you try and escape with her, I would kill you, and it would result in her dropping in the ocean. I don't believe I would have time to save her. But the fact of the matter is, if I can't have Calxiyn. No one can have Calxiyn. If you don't leave, and Calxiyn stays here, then I don't have to kill both of you. But I didn't say anything about not killing you." As soon as she was done with her monologue, Colleen took a shot at @Lightning Farron 's head.

 

Sebax floated casually over the deck, having already died when his heart stopped beating. He almost floated right over @al215 and his handiwork, but caught sight and came to an abrupt stop. He just floated there, invisible, as Al straight up slit the throat Sebax had just left behind. He stood there for a moment, just staring. Hey! There wasn't even that much blood oozing from his neck! He was already dead.

"Dayyyyyyuuuummm." He said emphatically. "You straight up gangsta." Still, he couldn't blame the guy for going the extra mile.

 

Nights turned to face @al215 with an unapologetic look on his face, "As I've said before, I don't care for the prize of this game. The only thing I'm interested in is the challenge. It's a shame it ended so quickly with that one. I was hoping for a bit more than that." Tears began to run down his face as his personality took a 180, "Now I'm not gonna get that fanfic either! I wanted it though, even though I don't know what it is I still want it!" With another 180, Nights unsheathed his blade pointing it at Al, "Now it's your turn for ruining everything. It's all your fault," he crouched and began a frantic dash towards Al. "Reveennnnge," he shouted for aesthetics of the moment, knowing full well there was no revenge to be had.

"***** I'm immortal!" Lightning said to @cstar , dropping Calxiyn and rolling. She wasn't really immortal but she thought she was.
