The fall of the Pokemon empire

The unfortunate thing is grass pokemon aren't good for much except for against some water types so I'm not really sure, I don't like Glaceons design as much but I do like the ice types so I'll have to really think about it. I never really got how you maxed out the happiness to get umbreon or espeon, the stones were so much simpler :p

 

All I did was give one of my several Eevees an EXP share and fought through the E4. They'll get happy enough to evolve into Umbreon or Espeon in Ruby/Sapphire, depending if the game clock is on day or night.

Also yes, I have a lot of Eevees. My Jolteon I evolved from my Eevee I got in Fire Red got busy with my Ditto. A lot. A lot~.

 

Oh I never thought about it that way, I pretty much left the breeding alone in Gold haha, but I thought the only way to get multiple eevee's was to win them from pokemon stadium or trade with people guess I was wrong on that one haha.

 

I think they should do a remake of gold/silver. that would be good.

 

Pokemon was my first GB game.
I loved the game cause of all the collecting, and seeing all the different Pokemon from the anime.
But yeah, I agree theres just to many Pokemon!

I used to know all 151 Pokemon names, but I think its impossible for me to remember all the names and types and everything now.

 

What are you guys saying! The new POKEMONS are awesome! They're great! Just great....gre------a-a-----ttt... (As you can see, Pokemon is now nothing more than a bulk of garbage...) They're soooo great that they're 100% broken. Shoot, I started to get the feeling of discontent with Pokemon ever since Ash started to act boring in the shows (2005?). Big Upgrade = New duds and half of his brain. If you’re disappointed as I am, the best thing to solve your problems is to sit back, grab your old GameBoy Color/GameBoy Advance (SP or not), slot in one of those old games (or use Fire Red (Grass Green?), since it's the remake of the old one), and play your good heart away until you completely forget about all the new, broken Pokemon. And then banned your eyes from new Pokemon if you see 'em! Man o' man, I wish someone out there would bring that hunk of junk (Pokemon) back to life again! Tetsuya! HELP US!!!!!!!!!!! (Pikachu was good, all we need is more of that good feeling again (evee, charmander, etc.)) I’m surprised by how many members chose “I like them”, but I still respect their ideas and all, so don’t take me wrong by any chance.

 

I was looking forward to Diamond/Pearl. I saw the pokemon. I spewed. I spewed over the computer.

Before i start, i'd like to say that i'm a pokemon fan. Dissapointed but i am, and i respect all of your opinions.

Leafeon and Glaceon look quite good but in my opinion the first evolutions of Eevee were much better.

Firstly i'd like to say that yes, most of the new pokemon are ugly.

As for Misty, according to the plot she had to leave and take care of bussiness in the Cerulean gym because her sisters would go on a trip. A trip around the world. But now her sisters are back. You might ask why she is not back then. Well as some of you may remember, Misty followed Ash in his journey because of her bicycle, at least when they started that was the reason. Well Ash gave her a new bicycle to replace the old one in the last Johto episode. Also Misty is the best trainer of the four sisters and as she says she has to protect their reputation.

At the moment there are 386 pokemon. From the regions of Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. I don't know how many will be added in the Sinnoh region.

I agree. The english names are quite terrible. Too obvious if you ask me. Turtwig and he is a turtle? Anyway, in my opinion the japanese names are quite better

That's the reason i gave the thread this title. Years ago pokemon was an empire. But as the title says now it's a fallen empire.

That's your opinion and i respect that. I am pokemon fan since its very first start and, no matter how many ugly and new pokemon will come, i'll never stop being one.

Yes, the first song was great and the first pokemon too. I do believe that would be better if they just stopped creating new pokemon and starting new adventures in the familiar worlds with the familiar pokemon. Else, just stop the show with a happy ending. Though to be honest i would be quite sad if they stopped the show.

I recently saw the sixth movie and i have to say it was quite good and as you said darker than the series. What kind of name is that? I prefer the japanese "Hikari".

Believe it or not, rumour has it that they will make one.

I dont really care about the pokemon being cute or ugly, as long as it can kick azz, I dont really give a damn how it looks.

 

The anime needs a new plot since it is so predictable, not to mention that it is strange that Ash doesn't need to go to school.

Well yes i think the plot needs to be fixed. Too many mistakes if you ask me. As for the school, i think that pokemon trainers don't need to go at school.

Maybe that's why there are so many kids in the Pokemon World who are as dense as Ash because they left school at the age of 10.

 

As far as i remember many kids go to school. Example: In the episode that Misty caught Psyduck there are references that kids haven't been to school for days.

 

There was an episode that featured a school... my proof... well there must have been I mean they've done everything twice now... god... kill the anime please after the first pokemon league it should have ended maybe the orange league but I don't think so.

 

Pokemon is so much different form the way it was when I was 5 years old. :/ It was cool then, and everyone loved it, because it was original. I loved the pokemon games (I still do.. haha) and the card game. (I actually won a pokemon card tournament at my local mall one time.. it was fun :] ) But now everything's just getting too ghetto and for some reason, Ash has not aged a DAY since the beginning of the series! 0_o Seriously, shouldn't he be like, 20 now and having his own gym or something? O_<
