The fall of the Pokemon empire

Sorry to any of you Pokemon fans or whoever, but I really kinda hate em all, even from the beginning, nothin' but crap if ya ask me...

There was a time years ago when I was into it, but I very much regret those times...

i was watching tv today & i saw that pokemon was on. so i turned it over to pokemon & lo n' behold there was this ugly ******ed tree type pokemon. i new it had gotten bad, but this... this was ridiculous.

 

I've gotten a little bit back into pokemon, but I'm all like and what's this pokemon's name, and what's this character's name??? My fave will always be pikachu, no matter how many new pokemon they come out with. I remember when Mew and MewTwo were the ones you wanted to get, and when they just had 150 pokemon. Now, it's just, the same old stuff, happening over again. O.o

sure it was kute n cuddly in the 90's but now dat am 16, i just think is over for them... (yeah its coming from a guy that knows alot about Disney n Kingdom Hearts :-P [da game is pretty good so ho hatin' aight?])

ten years ago i got my first pack of pokemon cards and i got a chancey in it.
now some poor kid will open up a pack of pokemon cards and get a 'bidoof' or 'bronzor' and go like "mommy, what is THAT?"
the original pokemon ruled, you just couldn't resist pikachu and the super sweet intro song (i still can almost recite the whole thing)
today, i saw the newest pokemon movie on and when i heard ash's voice, i nearly died. that is how bad it was.
when they try and come up with new pokemon, it just gets sad and old. the new shows are way to cheesy and they have lost all the good original characters and replaced them with, things
i think they should have stopped a long time ago and have ended on a happy note.

 

I remember back then when the pokemon were cool looking. BTW theres nothing wrong with DragonBall Z. Its nothing like Pokemon.

the only new pokemon that i actually liked in pearl and diamond is one of the legendary ones. darkrai, or something like that name. it looks kinda cool, and i read its description. but other than a very few others, there are no new ideas. i mean seriously, a fire-monkey? wow, real creative. they're just putting old ones together to make new ones, its really sad...

 

Have any of you people heard the new dub? It's terrible.

The dub D/P heroine is named...Dawn...WTF? Who names their daughter 'Dawn'?

The games are okay and so are the movies since the plot is a bit more darker than the show.

Well I'm part of the original 151 crowd and I was a die hard pokemon fan. But after Ash won the Orange league and I had beaten pokemon Gold... it just all went down hill. After the first two generations of pokemon it just died and died and I completley lost interest. Pokemon was one of the great franchises of the 90's along with Digimon and stuff like that, you were a kid and you couldn't quell your excitment when a creature evolved into it's next form or when you beat another gym leader but then it all ended when pokemon started to dish out monsters that looked ridiculous and deformed more like shapes than the animallike designs which I loved.

But I have actualy gained some hope back from what I've seen of diamond and pearl, the game looks great, putting new spins on the typical formula with the Wi-Fi and stuff and the pokemon seem to be reverting back to their more animal like designs so you can capture your favorite type of creature and the one thats most like your favorite animal and have it evolve into something really cool. I think this is the one thats going to remind people what it was like to play pokemon and I hope I get some enjoyment out of it.

I'm really disappointed with the new pokemon. T_T Up to the 2nd gen was the best, 3rd generation took me a while to finally like, but this 4th gen will take me forever to like. Probably the only 4th gen pokemon I will ever like will be Munchlax, Glaceon, and Leafeon.

Despite the pokemon of the 4th gen, I want to try out diamond/ pearl.

 

Oh, the new Eevee evo's are really cool. Glaceon learns sweet ice attacks.

 

Yeah...

You never know until you try I guess! I always end up looking for a grass type and I think the grass eevee evolution is the coolest one so far.
