The Fall of Earth

Damm! Hit the brakes! A rocket hit the bridge and broke it in half.

 

Renae barely steped on the brakes on time, "shoot! that was close! i'll have to turn around!" she turned the vehicle around.

 

I don't think we can. A large amount of half-tracks and tanks came into view.

 

"holy...."Renae swore, "well we have to take em out or we're dead!"

 

I'll see if I can. He started concentrating.

 

"hurry up..." renae warned as she saw the approaching enemy.

 

Wait for it... A tank aimed at them.

 

"i'm waiting!" Renae said as she nervously watched.

 

Done! Just before the tank fired, Nova shot a huge blast of light which destroyed all of the enemies.

 

"that....was too close...."Renae muttered, "nice job..."

 

But this attack comes with a price. He collapses to the ground.

 

"now you tell me!" Renae yelled as she kneeled down next to him. she took out a strong smelling herb and put it near his nose, "i need you to wake up..."

 

Nova wakes up and and tries to get up. Man. Using that attack was a mistake.

 

"oi, don't get up" Renae said, "why'd you use it then?"

 

"Hey! No time for this, for all we know, they could be sending more, so get off your butt and let's get the hell out of here" Xeno pulled Nova up and made him sit

 

To get rid of them. Nova looks at the wreckage he made.
