The Existance of the Supernatural

Do you believe or not? Please post your true opinion.

As for me, I believe. Today, I saw a mini-tornado and, coincidentally, a teacher is announced dead. Mere coincidence? I think not. It was a Guardian of Death, I feel sorry for the students who had the misfortune to be unaware walking through the tornado is extreme bad luck. Please, no necromancer talk.

 

I believe in "the supernatural". However, I think the topic is very complicated - Not only is the existance of the supernatural a debate, but even the nature of the supernatural itself. Like, do ghosts exist? And if they do, are they actually ghosts of the deceased that are trapped on this earth? Or perhaps perhaps from the Christian perspective, are they really demons?

 

There are ghost hauntings AND demonic hauntings. I'll only be suprised if there are angelic hauntings.

 

Frustrating thing is I don't think we can ever be sure of anything regarding the supernatural. There's no sure way of proving anything, and that's why this debate will always remain an opinionated one.
What's cool about this debate, however, is you can challenge those who refuse to believe, or make people see something in a completely different way.

I do and don't. I believe more in evolution. Why you ask? Simple, Evolution has proof, super natural doesn't.

And Evolution and Supernatural are two arguments, even though Evolution beats it by far.

Just my opinion.

Sure. Why not? If there are angels and demons and crap why not ghosts and alians? Not trying to mix topics or anything, but they are sorta in the same group, are they not?

 

I believe in the superbatural, lol I hate looking behind me wen im going up the stairs at night incase summit is watching me at the bottom. Ive seen a few ghosties too.....I s**t myself lmao

 

I always see stuff out of the corner of my eye, mainly because of watching the screens too much has disoriented my vision so I can see light better at the corners. Still, I believe in the supernatural.

 

I believe in the supernatural, and also in the afterlife. There are a lot of things science can't explain.

 

I believe in the afterlife too. Who knows, maybe the Egyptians were right on this one.

 

I believe that souls themselves do not get trapped on this world, but rather strong emotions are left behind and sometimes manifest themselves as what we call spirits. I also believe that demons and angels do mingle among we humans. Demons causing harm and chaos... Angel acting as gardians. I believe everyone has a gaurdian angel. It could even be a deceased loved one. ^^

i beleive in all the supernatural cept wolfman and frankenstein cause those are just silly -.- heh but i think theres more to ghostsa then meets the eye i thi nk that heaven and hell exist in diffrent realties not in the sky and in the ground like some ppl think and sometimes the astral barreir breaks down some and we see them and then sometimes the person isnt dead in another reality and is in ours and our mind wishing they were still here breaks down the dimensional barrier for a period of time and the reason exorcisms work is because when ours minds are convinced there gone it no longer holds the visual gate open 0.0

 

i like thinking about the positive supernatural things. like God. haha all those ghost and demon things just aren't something i like to think about. i mean i believe that demons do exist but i think that's what helps me keep a stronger faith in God and Jesus.

 

Ghost's, evil spirits, Gods/goddess', I don't entirely believe in.

For one, GHOST'S and SPIRIT'S are just common misconceptions of the human mind. The IMAGINATION is quite large and in charge when you let it get to you. I myself have these sort of scenario's, especially after a nice horror flick.

God's and Goddess' are more like tall tail creations of the human mind that symbolize an excuse for paranormal or perhaps 'strange' occurances. I'm Agnostic, so I don't believe in the man made "God" people believe in. Not that I don't, actually, more like I'm not sure. Since I'm so far away from the past, I can't determine if God really told his Angel's to inform mankind of things.

God of Death? No such thing, from my point of view. If you study it from a scientific dynamic, some teacher dying was probably an accident. I feel sorry for the poor man/woman, but it's not to be determined by something like a God of Death. You must have a polytheistic point of view if this is the case, ZotT. The fact of the matter is, ZotT, you think it's the God of Death, WHICH IS FINE, I'm not patronizing you for it. I'm just saying, if you take part in your Biology class, during the Human analogy portion, you'd understand it a little more.

On the Tornado...I like to think it's a wind knot...probably caused by the moon's pull on earth...who knows? =P

Well, after reading all or most of the posts here is my two cents of all of this:


I believe in the supernatural. I am also Wiccan ((it is a belief that everything is done for a purpose and that magicks are real. light and dark are no more htan an opinion of a different person and we are not bound by any book or forbidden law))

I believe in Ghosts and other wordly encounters.

I believe in the unknown and the unexplained, as one or two have said, not everything can be explained by Science.

I believe in angels and things that go "bump" in the night.

Call me what you wish but from my past experiences, i know what I know loll..

I think it's been scientifically proven that we can see better out of the corners of our eyes, they take in more light, y'know?

Like, when you look at stars they are harder to see than if you don't look directly at them.

And it may be the same with the supernatural.

 

I believe in the supernatural. What I don't believe in, is ghosts. Once you die, your spirit goes to the afterlife, also known as Heaven. It all depends on what you truly believe in though.

This is just my opinion, though. there are other stuff I haven't really explained hear, but I'm afraid of offending someone or something.
