    HELL YES

Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games in the past decade. Admittedly, it felt more like an action game with a survival-horror style, but I still found it great overall.

Hoping maybe he'll breathe new life into the genre, after Silent Hill's essentially died to me after 4, and Dead Space is also in the same boat as Resident Evil 4 as an action game wearing survival-horror clothes.

Ok, nice. A lot of people have boasted that their games will redefine horror, but if anyone can back it up, it's Mikami.

And just when it seemed like the mainstream survival horror genre was circling the drain. I can't wait for gameplay footage.

This looks interesting. It's been a while since I've played a decent horror game. Resident Evil is good, but where's the terror? Hopefully I can try this out and it's not just another mild game with the horror tag slapped on it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the info libre ^^

2nd screenshot is my favorite <3

Well, it looks pretty. Nice to see it's not entirely grays and browns. I hope the safehouses are all warm, comforting colors for contrast. (Or that there are no safehouses. Y'know, whatever works.)

Hmm it's been a long time since I had a good LEGIT horror game. Nowdays, many horror games produced aren't even considered "horror" (thank god for indie developers. They created a great amount of good horror games). It's about time the big game companies start to revive the horror genre in video game industry. I'll be keeping a close eye on this game. Especially now knowing who the person behind this is. I have confidence this will help reignite the dying flames of horror games and bring out more real horror games out there.

This game is coming out August 26th for North America and the 29th for Europe. Didn't think it'd be coming out this year to be honest.

I'm curious as to why they're seemingly showing the game on the PS3 or Xbox 360 in this new trailer. Watching the "Extended Gameplay Video," I could tell a difference in the graphics.

Still, I'm loving the creepy, abstract, abnormal aesthetic of the game, and the gameplay looks to amplify that experience so far, rather than distract from it.

The whole time I was watching that trailer, I couldn't help but notice the variety in settings and monsters. And the way it seems to shift in and out of nightmarish reality and gruesome dreamscape... Looks like it's gonna perform as advertised. I should seriously keep a closer eye on this.

Pains me, but I will be waiting until I have an eighth generation console (so X1) to grab this.

Getting it on seventh gen systems would just be buying an inferior product due to iD Tech 5.[DOUBLEPOST=1401205780][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, Tango wasn't new in 2011. They were formed before the release of Vanquish and are credited in that title. They just separated from Platinum around that time and got bought by Zenimax
