The Escape

Roxas yaned and said, "Wake me up when she is done please." Roxas fell asleep.

 

Xion held her breath longer, seeing stars. She just wanted to push the limits. The water was safe, anyway.

 

"Xion, are you almost done? Roxas wants to bathe too," he reminded her with his back turned.

 

Xion climbed out after making sure both guys' backs were turned and got dressed in her old clothes. "I'm out and decent." she murmured. She needed new clothes, badly. These ones hung off her body loosely, but they did their job.

 

Roxas was still asleep on the ground tired from their escape.

 

Demyx kneeled down to his level and nudged him with his hand. "Roxas? You can take your bath now. The water is still warm. You'll enjoy it I'm sure."

 

Xion smiled slightly, turning away from them and wringing out her hair. She felt much much cleaner. "Thanks again, Demyx!" she called, facing the trees.

 

Roxas woke up. "Okay." said Roxas getting up and walking around the corner. He undressed and went into the water. All the cut stung him, he yelped adn then comtimued to bathe himself. All the blood that was on himwas washed down stream.

 

"No problem and I wish I could do more. I hope Axel gets here soon. A campfire would be perfect right about now," he held himself with his arms since he was cold.

 

Xion almost turned when she heard him yelp, but stopped herself, still facing the trees. Her hair almost dry, she went to Demyx and hugged him. "He'll come." she murmured.

 

Roxas finished up and got out, he put his pants on but left his shredded up shirt off. he walked out to wheere Demyx and Xion were, "We need to find a town." said Roxas holding up his shirt that was only a ripped up cloth now.

 

"I know," he said to Roxas observing the rag for a shirt. He hugged her back and unzipped his cloak placing her close to him, zipping part of it back up and heating his body up enough to keep her warm. "I don't want you to get chilled," he rubbed himself to create friction to allow his body heat to come through for himself.

 

Xion shivered, then smiled at Roxas. "There can't be one too far...they have to get their water and power from somewhere."

 

"True...well...I'm going back to sleep." said Roxas laying on the ground and fallling asleep.

(OOC: I have to go to bed now, I'll be on tomarrow. :D)

 

"I agree with her. We have to seek out shelter and food before we freeze to death." He stood up, with her still clinging to his body for warmth as it looked like a baby koala bear with it's mother err... father. Watching Roxas fall asleep it would be the worst scenerio. He had no choice, but to keep him warm too.

 

Xion giggled, then looked around. "There has to be someplace to go to....."

 

]Demyx felt the breeze come up as he began to walk. He pulled his hood over his face to keep himself warm. "Xion hold on to Roxas and keep his warm inside of my cloak. I'll get us somwhere in no time," his pace quickened as he walked up a grassy hill and spotted a small town in the distance. "Perfect. We'll stay over there for the night."

 

Xion held onto Roxas, trying to ignore the closeness. "Okay." she hid deeper, her face hidden.

 

After a few hours of walking he finally reached the town and walked into an inn where he was greeted by a shop keeper.

"Oh dearie, you shouldn't be walking around at night in this cold especially when you're pregant. Congraulations by the way. Since I feel for you I'm going to offer you a room, free of charge and my assistant is going to take care of your needs as soon as I call him," the innkeeper replied as she left the room.

"What? Pregant?" He blushed from he could see how the innkeeper could obviously mistake that since the nocturne did have two younger indivduals underneath his cloak giving him the appearance of being pregant. "Did you just hear what she said to me?" he exclaimed to Xion.

 

Xion laughed, keeing her face hidden. "Just go with it."
