The Escape

Xion looked down, very aware of Roxas' hand on her shoulder. "Is there anything else I can do to help you?"

 

"Not that I know of." said Roxas.

 

Xion smiled, then stood up, turning toward him. "Where are the others?" she didn't ask it in a mean way, just in a curious tone.

 

"They were behind me...oh...wait they are still in the woods." said Roxas, "I think...but I know they escaped also."

 

Xathabat was starting to get tired and leaned on a tree she rested for a minute and countuied to walk but more slowly and weakly.She looked at the sky for a minute and back at the ground."theres nothing to look up to.."she whispered to herself her arm was still stinging and she accedently itched it so it was bleeding again and she slaped her forhead and monened in pain but stoped inmedetly.

 

Demyx saw the stick that was being used as a splint to help his arm. "That looks painful Roxas. I think I might have something for ya though". Pulling out of his pocket were two vials, an elixer and ether. "Here drink them and they should do the trick," he handed them to him. "I got them from the guards we fought. I have more too which is a good thing."

 

Roxas looked at the vials, "Okay..." said Roxas drinking the two of them.

 

Axel continued running through the forest with his arm still linked to Larxene's as he finally stopped as he thought he had saw the others close by. Though he couldn't tell if they were their friends or the enemy. There was only one way to find out. Even though it hurt him to do this he yelled out. "Roxas, Demyx, Xion, Xathabat? Where are you guys?" He called out hoping to hear someone.

 

"Axel we're this way!" said Roxas waveing as he thought he saw Axel.

 

Xion looked up, then went over to the river following it. "I'm going to bathe, if you guys don't mind." She really needed to.

 

"Uh...go ahead." said Roxas turning away.

 

Xion smiled, then turned the corner, out of sight. She quickly undressed and jumped into the water, gasping.

 

Roxas looked at his broken arm and then at the other wounds.

 

Xion surfaced, pushing her hair back. It was getting longer, almost to her shoulders. She kinda liked it. She dover under again, rubbing her arms.

 

With his back turned to her so not to invade her privacy, he called to Xion. "Would you like me to heat up the water for you? It would do a better job of cleaning and it would help you relax. I also have soap if you need it."

 

"Demyx is it okay if I take bath after Xion?" said Roxas laying down on the grass.

 

Xion dove under again, holding her breath. She just wanted to try.

 

"Of course Roxas," placing his hand in the water it heated up his element to where the water turned warm, but didn't boil or hurt her. "I hope that is to your liking," he smiled. "It feels just like a hot bath Roxas."

 

"Well...thats better than the frezzeing cold water you had to bathe in at the prison." said Roxas shutting his eyes.

 

Xion giggled underwater, then came back up, choking. "Thanks Demyx." she said, diving under again.
