The Escape

Xion looked at Axel. "I'm ready to leave whenever." she replied, going to Roxas.

 

"Thanks Axel," Demyx drunk both of the bottles. "I'm still tired though," he yawned. "But what ever you want to do we will," he stretched trying to wake himself up from the drousy state he was in.

 

Xion sat next to Demyx. She felt his forehead, her eyebrows furrowed.

 

Demyx patted her hand. "What do I have a fever? Am I am burning up?" he noticed the way she furrowed her eyebrows at him. Yawning again, he leaned his head on her ready to use her as a pillow. "I'm so tired," he could barely stay awake.

 

Xion smiled. "Sleepy?" she murmured, stroking his head. "Sleep will help you get better"

 

Axel sighed as he felt that his body was wary as well and just collasped on the floor almost falling asleep. "I guess we will rest then," He felt his eyes lids falling all of a sudden.

 

Xion smiled as Axel fell asleep, then leaned her head against Demyx's, keeping her eyes open.

 

"The second floor." Xion murmured, watching her friends sleep.

 

Larxene stayed awake, looking at axel, then demyx. Her mind stayed alert, ready to detect any threat possible in their surroundings. She looked at Xion, swallowing back the guilt that swept her.

 

Xion kept her eyes away from Larxene. She started humming gently, an old song she remembered.

 

Larxene flicked her index finger forward from her thumb, sending small balls of electricity to bounce off the wall infront of her and catch in her hands again.

 

Xion ignored her, studying the opposite wall.

 

Demyx woke up and stretched his arms. Rest was all that he needed in order to feel like himself again. He noticed Larxene playing with a ball of electricity. Getting up he sat down next to her. "Sorry I overreacted like that. I'm just upset that we are not out of here yet," he looked down at the ground.

 

Larxene caught the small crackling ball and let it flow back into her hands. she looked at the nocturne and smiled slightly. "I think we all are. I don't blame you really; it is quite frustrating here. but we will get out eventually."

 

Axel slowly opened his eyes as he saw Larxene playing with electricity ball. He smiled slightly as he summoned a fire ball and started playing with it. "If only there was some another way. I am surprised we can't just portal out of this dump," he smirked somewhat.

 

Larxene looked up at axel. "so you're finally awake too." she smiled weakly. "agreed. something in this damn place won't let us portal."

 

Axel stood up and went to sit next to her and Demyx. He was still playing with his fire ball, letting it rotate in his fingers. "Yep, I couldn't really sleep, I wish there was some kind of energy source we could cut out and then we could get out of here." His eyes began observing the walls carefully. "At least we aren't being chased right now, those keyblade wielders are afriad of the 8 feet flames that are spreading in the opposite direction. So it would be very difficult for them to track us down."

 

Demyx watched Axel play with his fire ball and it gave him an idea to form a water bubble and let it flow across his fingers and shape it in any way he wanted it. He put his lips to it, drinking some of it for his throat was parched. "Good thing you summoned your fire to stop those guys," he licked his lips after he spoke to Axel. "Are you guys thirsty? I do have water you know,but I'll have to hold onto it while the both of you take turns drinking from it otherwise if you try to hold water it will burst and evaporate for you Axel, and the bubble for you Larxene could hurt you to be honest."

 

Larxene wrinkled her nose. "ew...water." she looked to the floor. "I don't fancy the stuff. I'm good, thanks." She looked at axels fire and smiled, watching the flames lick into the air in a graceful fasion. "I have the insane urge to touch the fireball... but I have more sense." she smirked.

 

Axel eyed Demyx and decided to meet his challenge. "If you can promise it won't splash on me I will drink it, as I am thirsty," He looked at the water bubble examing it for a while until he reached over towards it waiting for Demyx to grasp it. He let the fire ball he was playing with in a jar as he tossed it to Larxene. "Now, it can't harm you," He mentioned.
