The Escape

Larxene smiled. She felt so warm in Axels arms; her insides had melted already, along with the sharp look she had in her eyes from the fight. she still held onto Axel, getting used to having that physical contact with him...that nice physical contact. She tilted her head towards Demyx, still keeping eye contact with the red-head.
"what did you say demmy?"

 

He waved his hand at her. "I said why did you hurt Xion?" he told her again, but this time he was more serious about it.

 

Axel looked at Xion from where he stood and noticed that she wasn't doing to well. He also gazed at Roxas to see him sound asleep. Sighing he walked over to Xion and felt her forhead and that is where he noticed her face was a little damaged. "Okay what did you do?" his eyes were menacely since he knew Xion was weak to begin with. He kneeled over to Roxas and felt his skin. When he saw that Roxas seem fine and sleeping, he went back to Larxene for some reason liking the closeness, even though he was upset with the lightning nobody he couldn't shake the feeling of liking her in his arms. Which in fact it felt good to him

 

Xion closed her eyes, wincing. So many sounds.....She tried to sit up, her head swimming.

 

"I simply picked her up...put her up againt that wall-" larxene pointed to a stone wall to the left of her-"and checked her for wounds. nothing more. nothing less." She smiled at the red-head like a child trying to sweet-heart her mother to get out of trouble; she used her looks - with great skill, I may add - against him. She realised how close he was getting, and how soon her insides would turn to slush again. But she didn't mind, strangely enough. She looked at Xion, a smirk playing on her lips. "Look, she's fine. She's up."

 

Xion opened her mouth to retort, then coughed, shaking her head. She took another deep breath, then glared at Larxene, looking around for something to throw at her.

 

Was she trying to be innocent for she was failing miserably. "Boy your defination of fine is totally different from my view," he kneeled by Xion, picking her up in his arms and walked over with her next to Larxene. "Does this look like the face of someone who is fine?" He gentely had Xion move her head and look at Larxene. "Notice the marks on her face and how she is breathing and coughing because of you," he pointed. He consoled her still holding her in his arms as he glared at the savage nymph. "Now you're going to get along with her or I'll get you and Axel both drenched since you and him are not taking poor Xion's condition seriously," he was not kidding around and was deathy serious for he hated to see others get hurt when that individual had done nothing wrong. "Stop adding fuel to the fire Larxene. Xion is hurt more because of you raming her face into the wall when you thought no one was looking, but I saw it and you can't deny that." He glared at Axel as well. "Axel what if Larxene hurt Roxas out of spite? Would you let her get away with it? I wouldn't think so. It was all fun and games before especially with Larxene switching from hitting on me to now hitting on you, but it's not cool anymore since Xion got hurt on purpose. You both make me sick."

 

Xion didn't expect Demyx to stand up for her. He really cared...she almost started crying. She hid her face, turning it toward Demyx, and closing her eyes, so he wouldn't see the tears.

 

Xion couldn't hide those tears from Demyx as he took out a kleenex pack from his pocket and handed it to her. "You two should be ashamed of yourselves. Now you're making her cry," he walked back over to the wall and slowly sat down with her as he consoled her like an older brother who cared. "It's okay. I'm going to make sure that no one hurts you anymore," he placed more water on her hoping that the warm sensation would lessen her pain. "I need to get you to a medical ward, but first we need to get out of this hell hole."

 

Xion smiled, wiping her eyes. "I don't want to go to a medical ward." she murmured, taking another deep breath.

 

Larxene slapped her hand upon her forehead with quite some force. She sighed, looking at demyx. She opened her mouth to talk, but only air rolled out and formed itself into another sigh. she looked at axel, awaiting his response.

 

"Demyx I didn't know what had happened and I'm sorry that Xion got hurt and I can't change Larxene. It would end up with us getting in a huge fight and we don't need that since we are trying to escape this hell hole," Axel replied with a sigh for he didn't want any more trouble or being pulled into this matter.

 

Xion looked up at Axel, hiding her emotions and keeping her face blank. "The stairs are over to the right, down the hall." She remembered being thrown down those stairs all too well. "Keep going up those."

 

Roxas woke up slowly and blinked he attemped to prop himself agianst the wall but couldn't because of the many cuts on his one arm. He's legs were aching... his stomach, side, shoulder, hand, and head were trobeing. he heard what Xion said and looked over at her then at Demyx and then at Axel and Larxene. He remebered getting thrown down the steps then being stabbed at least what seem like a milliom times.

 

"Roxas?" Xion squirmed, struggling to go to him. "Are you okay?"

 

"Yeah...I'm just in a little pain thats all." said Roxas.

 

Larxene sighed, sitting down onto the floor. She looked at demyx, then back down to where her feet where now resting, along with the rest of her body. She attempted to control her anger towards demyx for speaking to her like that. she wasn't used to holding back; it made a dry ache present itself in her hands.

 

Xion cringed, her breathing uneven. She was more scared of that guy then anyone else, even Xemnas.

 

Xion slowly moved over, not taking her eyes off the guy, then sitting next to Roxas, hugging him.

 

Axel noticed that Maraku had thrown him the Majora's mask and his sword. Gazing at the weapon carefully he was surprised he was given such gifts and muttered "thanks," as he placed them in his cloak out of sight and then went over and sat beside Larxene with his hands over his eyes wishing that they could just get along. "Can't we just let this go?" He asked no one in particular and looked at Roxas and Xion. They needed to rest and he could tell how exhausted they were. "How long do you guys want to rest for?" He asked the group.
