The Escape

Xion winced, then scooted farther away. "I can leave if you want me to." she murmured, looking at her hands.

 

"If I wanted you to leave, I would have said so...And If I really wanted to go I would have left myself." said Roxas looking at her, "Just tell me, why did you want to see my memories? You shouldn't have done it, because you wouldn't understand them at all." Roxas felt kind of uncomfurtable so he stood up. He then stood beside Xion, he looked down at her.

 

Xion slowly let her gaze drift to his feet as she studied his shoes. "I wanted to try to understand you. Why you didn't care for me, and were acting so weird. What you were sick with, why you wouldn't let me help you. I was trying to understand..."

 

Roxas stopped himself from getting mad or annoyed. He looked at Xion feeling kind of gulitly for getting mad at her. He looked at the town, then at Xion agian. "Well...In that case...I'm sorry Xion, I over reacted." said Roxas, he turned to the wall and leaned on it.

 

Xion watched his shoes leave her vision line, then shook her head, sighing. "It's fine, I would be angry too. I just don't understand why you won't hurt me back, like I hurt you. I deserve it, and you can do it. I wont' stop you."

 

"You may diserve it Xion...but I can't bring myself to harm anyone other than myself." said Roxas, he closed his eyes, he still faced the wall of the tower. He then turned around leaning on the wall and sitting down. He looked out over the town. "I wish I could change but it's harder than you know." said Roxas.

 

Xion smiled a little. "Change is gradual. You can't make yourself change, anymore then you can be anyone but yourself. You'll be okay. You always are, right?" she stared at the sunset, picking out the mixes and matching colors. They were all so beautiful.

 

"Right...I guess." said Roxas, he looked at the sunset then spotted some gaurds. "So there are some gaurds here too..." Said Roxas, slightly happier than before. He was returning to his normal self, as in the one before the accident.

 

Xion smiled tenatively. "Guys...always wanting to fight. I'm more interested in the sunset. It's so gorgeous. Nowhere else is like it, really. You can't even draw something like that."

 

Axel noticed some guards as well and killed the ones that tried to attack him and Demyx. He wondered where Roxas, Xion and Xathabat were. He was worried about them, but he kept searching though he didn't think of checking the clock tower for some reason. "Do you think they might be at the tower?" He asked Demyx.

 

He shrugged his shoulders. "We could always look. There will be no harm in that right?" He walked on the other side of Axel.

 

Xathabat was running from gurds and wincing as she sliped and landed face down,two gurds picked her up.her back started to sting even worse she slamed the two guards togather as she ran in an ally peeking around the corner to see that no guards were following her and sighed as she hugged herself trying to ease the pain."my back.." she mummbled but she took a deep breath and started to run back to the clock tower."i have to make sure Xion and Roxas are ok..." she whispered but her legs grew weak and she fell to her knees and yelled in pain as her back started to bleed more. her vison grew weak and everything seemed blury so she closed her eyes takeing deep breaths.

 

"Yeah...no one can catch all the colors into the drawing..." said Roxas,he then thought "What am I saying?" He sighed seeing more and more gaurds appear near the bottom of the tower.

 

Xion stood up, glancing below, then smiled ferally. "Wanna go have some fun?" she asked, hesitating, then holding out her hand to Roxas, her blue eyes shadowed in the coming darkness.

 

"Yeah." said Roxas. He laughed slightly ad the jumped down off the tower and landeing on his feet, alot of gaurds surrounded him. He summoned his keyblades.

 

Xabathat got up weakly as she walked closer to the clock tower she couldnt see well so she didnt notice the guards as she bumped past them trying her best not to faint she took a deep breath as she closed her eyes and guards charged at her.she quickly shot a cirlce of black flames around her burning all the guards she grew weaker by every attack but kept slaughtering gaurds working her way to the tower."sheash so much for hideing out in twlight towen.oh well we can blame the heartless.." she sighed.

 

Xion rolled her eyes. "Men..." she leaped after him, taking out two of the guards with a swift kick, then rolling to her feet. "Come on, boys!" She taunted, laughing. Two more charged her.

 

"Yeah, I think we should check at the tower. I feel strange energy so I have a feeling that the guards might have followed us somehow." He admitted as he kept walking towards that way and making sure that Demyx was with him.

 

Xion ducked, her head pounding, then rolled away. She winced as someone punched her stomach, then kicked them back, trying to find some more space. Another uppercut, and another side kick, and she was free for a few seconds.

 

"The tower? Oh I think I know what you mean," he followed after him making sure not to lose the fire wielder. "I hope they are okay. It would suck if something bad happened."
