The Escape

Xion flinched. "But they have lives and families that live here. Maybe they have been told lies about why we are out, escaped." She looked down at the floor, clenching her hands. "Maybe they have no choice."

 

"do you even know who captured us! i heared the guards talking, they call themselves the Forgottens, and they haunt us, they think we're all evil and that we must be destroied...i feel sorry for them though...there was a guard that started to cry because he thought some of us were good and that they should give us a chance, because they were similar to us, they couldnt feel the emotion love." she said softly and looked up at demyx and blushed and looked back at the ground but once her blushing stopped she nodded."ok then, lets go to twlight." she smiled.

 

Xion rubbed her head. "I have to get some things from the room." she replied. "You guys can go on ahead, I'll grab them and meet up with you at the Station, kay?" She didn't leave them time to argue, but slipped out the door, and into the hallway. "Time to play hide and seek." she murmured, sliding into a doorway as a guard crept by, then continuing to the room.

 

Axel looked at Xathabat and then at Demyx and Roxas. He didn't get a chance to approach Xion, but if she felt she was okay then he would let her. "If she doesn't come back soon then I will go after her." He opened up a portal for them. " Go on you guys. ....Wait an minute Xion I don't even know if Xion can even portal." He replied.

 

Demyx hestiated to go into the portal for he wasn't sure with the whole idea. "Axel I feel we should not seperate for that is how the problems happen." He stood where he was and waited to see what his friend would do.

 

Xion quickly stepped into her room and opened the secret drawer in the bathroom, under the tile. Inside was a small necklace, and various weapons. Her contact had come through. She smiled a little, arming up. Tying the necklace gently around her neck, she lowered her hands to adjust the thigh sheath on her left leg, then slid in the weapons, one in the thigh sheath, and one onto the end of the necklace. It was thin enough, no one would notice, even if they hugged her. She smiled, more menacing this time, then stood up, placing the tile back.

 

Axel listened to his other friend and understood how he felt, but the flurry needed to make sure that Xion could find a way back to them. "I can find you guys anywhere in Twilight Town so it is safe to go," He patted Demyx on the shoulder.

 

"So you want me to leave is that it?" Demyx looked at him with sad puppy dog eyes like he was being abandoned or thrown to the curb.

 

Axel looked at him oddly and tried to resist the look that the sitar player was giving him, but for now it wasn't working. "Demyx, I have to keep an eye on Xion. I don't even know if she can portal or not. I promise you I will be back." He said to him. Not able to take it anymore, he sighed as he knew that Demyx wouldn't leave him alone. "Alright fine we will wait for Xion." He said almost in a bored matter. The flurry really wanted to go eat some ice cream, but right now it was impossible.

 

Sliding out of the hallway, she accidently was pushed right into the grip of a soldier. His hands tightened on her, and she rolled her eyes, wincing as he breathed in her ear. "Aren't you fine?" he asked, moving his hands lower. She took the oppurtunity to stab him in the gut, then ran as he dropped, making her slow way back to the portal where they were.

 

Xathabat was lost in thoughts.' why do the forgottens hate us so much...what have we done to them...i cant protect the others, my minds to foggy so i cant think of an idea' shr thought but soon she heared a loud bell and yelling as gurds started to bust through the doors of the hotel." THERE IN HERE!" one of them yelled she looked up at her only friends and walked to the door." hurry,go!" she said and ran down the hall and created a force feild infront of the door so no one could get in and so her friends couldnt get out. she summoned her syth ready to fight the gurds off so her friends could get away." i know my mind maybe fogged and i may not be strong enough to surive this but ill die trying to help my only friends." she said to herself as her eyes turned red and the gurds got closer.

 

"I knew you would see it my way," Demyx grinned knowing it was hard to resist the puppy dog face he was giving the flurry. "Now then if she doesn't come back,we'll go after her okay?"

 

Axel nodded his head and then saw that Xathabat was trying to hold back the guards. "We need to leave now, the rest of you go!" He ordered as he was trying to shove them through the portal. "Xathabet let's go! Xion! " He was still waiting for them to go in the portal.

 

Xion hurdled around the corner, leaning against the wall with one palm as she tried to catch her breath. "Sorry.....more of them....then.....realized." She gave a thumbs up, still panting, then shooed them. "Go on....be right behind you."

 

Xathabat was slaughtering guards and shook her head."no, i will meet you guys there, GO!" she said and pushed Xion into the portal and smiled at axel."take care of them." she said and pushed axel and demyx into the portal as she turned back to the gurds she kept swinging her syth soon her scream filled the halls as blood seeped down her back, one of the guards stabed her in the back, instead of falling to the ground she turned quickly around and cut his head off. she held her arm aound herself as she made sure the last of them was dead. and sighed.

 

Axel found himself and the others in Twlight Town, but Xathabat was left behind. He didn't think that she would of pushed them all ino the portal like that. He only hoped that she would come back with them. At least they were safe for the time being. "We need to find shelter." He answered as he began walking around a little bit, but still in sight.

 

Xathabat started breagthing heavily as she winced in pain with a smile upon her face." i actully helped..." she whispered to herself weakly she opened a portal and walked into it weakly on the clock tower in twlight towen and sat down looking at the people below, and in the crowd she spotted the others, but she wanted to wait a while before rejoinging them, she needed to rest.So she layed on her side and watched them walk."they wont miss me." she mummbled to herself

 

Xion rubbed her shoulder, then nodded. "I have to find Xathabat...." she murmured, then winced. "How can you guys stand it?" she whispered, rubbing her temples. The voices all pressed in on her, making her want to scream.

 

Xathabat could see her friend was in pain and jumped down, she winced as presure hurt her bleeding back, she walked weakly to xion still holding her arm around herself." Xion wuts wrong?" she asked as she put her other arm around her.

 

Xion looked up. "Xathabat....are you okay?" She winced, then smiled a little. "So many voices, so much....I'll be okay. I just have to learn to adjust somehow..." she winced again, holding Xathabat tightly.
