The Escape

Roxas closed his eyes, "I know it will sting, It has many times before on my other inguries..." Roxas then layed on his back on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. He sighed closeing his eyes and covering his face with his hands."Why?" whispered Roxas thinking out loud.

 

Xion quietly walked to him, her eyes widening slightly at Roxas' injuries, then she smiled gently at both of them. "Anything I can do over here?" she asked gently, hugging herself to keep warm.

 

"no, i dont.." she said as she started to shiver and hugged the pillow more, she closed her eyes tight fighting back the tears and bit the pillow from crying outloud.

 

Axel looked at Xion and smiled at her. "I think you need to comfort Xathabat and talk with her. I will talk to Roxas." He told her. He turned his attention to Roxas. "I can treat you other injuries as well." He watched him.

 

"uh, no, I'm fine." said Roxas he faked a smile and then covered his face agian he sighed agian, thinking of something, or at least trying to remeber something, he then rolled over on to his side winceding slightly.

 

Xathabat sighed as it started getting warmer and she wiped away some tears and fell asleep in the night holding her pillow close.

 

Xion smiled a little. "She's asleep, but I'll still sit by her." she murmured, doing as she said. Gently stroking her friend's hair, she hummed gently, her thoughts far away behind her blue eyes.

 

Xathabat was having a nightmare of people calling her pathitic and worthless, she ran away from them and sat at a cliff swinging her legs."maybe i should just stay alone..." she said to herself as someone in her dream pushed her off the cliff and just before she hit the hard damp ground she woke up startled she saw Xion trying to comfort her and smiled."thanks..." she said softly but she still felt scared.

 

Xion smiled a little, her eyes obscured by shadows. "Bad dream?" she murmured. "You were talking in your sleep." She didn't add that the feelings coming from her were sad, scared, the ones that made her want to cry again. They shouldn't be like this, any of them.

 

Demyx just remained where he was not sure of what else to say to anyone. He had just come back and wondered if anyone would notice his presence without him saying a single word. He would wait for a response as his eyes were on Xathabat and what she was doing currently.

 

Xathabat nodded."its just a dream though..." she said as she looked at demyx and hung her head and layed her head back down and sighed'ill try my best not to cry....ill try harder to be positive...this is going to be hard...'she thoguht and sighed again.

 

Xion smiled a little, rubbing her back. "Go back to sleep, hun. Maybe you'll have a better one." she bit her lip, thinking. "Do you have dreams often?"

 

Xathabat nodded."yes, i always have dreams, but their just dreams..." she said softly.' dreams that come from my memory..' she thought and turned to Xion."why are you helping me?" she asked.

 

Xion's eyes widened. "I thought I was your friend..." she murmured, her mind thinking quickly. "I want to be your friend, And I was going to suggest a dream catcher."

 

"you are my friend...its just ususlly my friends ignore me...." she said softly and sat up and huged xion."thank you xion." she said and smiled slightly.

 

Xion hugged the other girl back, noticing how thin she was. "You should eat more." she murmured, hugging her tightly. "I would never ignore you. We're like sisters, right?"

 

Xathabat nodded."yeah." she said and poked her owen stomic."and now that you mettion it, im kinda hungrey." she laughed and smiled.'this isnt so hard.' she thought.

 

Roxas looked at Demyx, "I'm sorry." said Roxas he uncovered his face smileing slightly, he then cover his face agian.

 

Demyx walked over to Roxas and sat down on the bed. He was concerned about the younger member and wanted to see what he could do to help. "Roxas about last time... I was only trying to help and I lost my temper. I was just concerned about you and Xathabat is all."

 

Xion smiled. "Wanna go get something? I could use a small snack too." she stood up, then offered Xathabat her hand. "I'm sure we can get some good stuff."
