The Escape

Xathabat sighed."im sorry roxas..." she mummbled and sat on her owen bed and sighed as she stared at the floor. she looked at her friends resting."helpless.." she whispered but she blinked and looked back at the ground.

She smiled, her blue eyes shining. "Maybe I should grow mine out. Maybe it would make me prettier." She watched him, thinking. "Roxas and Demyx and Xathabat are together." she murmured, her blue eyes now on the floor. "Roxas was attacked....Xathabat is closer to Demyx..."

Roxas looked at Demyx as he was laid on the bed. "Demyx those won't work I've already tired...I tried everything and nothing will work." said Roxas laying in bed finally the blood stopped along with the fire in his stomach. He then looked at Xathabat, "It's fine, it's not your fault." said Roxas, "and your not helpless..."

 

"if i wasnt so helpless then how come i cant help you...i cant even cheer you up." she sighed and kept her eyes on the floor.

 

"Xathabat, your not helpless, no one can help me right now..." said Roxas, "And Xathabat, just talking to you cheers me up...because you understand what I'm going through, you understand how it is being so hard on yourself...you are helping me also, because you are by my side talking to me, your like the sister I never had."

 

"then how will the pain stop, i dont like seeing you hurt, your like a little brother to me." she said and looked at him worried.

 

Roxas winced, "The pain comes and goes as it pleases," said Roxas he smiled at Xathabat, "Talking about pain, it's going away."

 

Xathabat nodded but still had a worried look on her face."thats good..." she mummbled and looked back at the ground.

 

"there is no nedd to worry." said Roxas, "I've been going trought this for at least five or six years, it's been happening to me since i tried to kill myself." He had never told anyone that he tried to kill himself before, he was afraid of what people would say.

 

"really? thats strange...you know last time i tried to kill myself i just froze and started coughing blood like you, but i also felt cold and alone...i was lost from the outside world.." she said and looked down." sometime i still feel that way but i return from my trip from space and its actully getting better, maybe you'll get better too.." she smiled.

 

"Yeah, maybe. I started coughing up blood once me and Mixtsuki broke up, that was the day I tired to kill myself...she hated me for tring to kill myself so thats why she wanted to kill me herself...I was fine with that until I met Xion...but now I wish she would have killed me, it did go away for a while, but...I just resently tried to kill my self." said Roxas he looked at the ground not sure if he should have told her this, he pulled his sleeves to make sure they were over his wraists, but the one was cover up with a cast so it was fine. He put his one hand that had the cast on over the other wraist and winced. He remebered recently when he was stabbed. "She tried killing me a day ago..." said Roxas fighting back tears, "but instead of me dieing she did...she should have lived...i should have been the one to die."

 

Axel looked at Xion and wondered why she wanted to grow her hair out, he liked her the way she was. However, it wouldn't bother him at all if she did have longer hair. "It is your choice after all. You are pretty either way. I always wondered what your hair would like it if it was in fact longer?" He answered smiling a bit. He had stopped his pacing and look at Xion when she mentioned the whereabouts and events happening to their friends. Worry was struck on his face now and he knew that they must go after them. Even though Roxas was the only one hurt he still cared about the younger member. They were all friends after all and would never abandon them. "Well let's go find them then," He raised his hand and formed a portal and motioned with his hand for her to go with him. He knew exactly where they were because he could feel the presence of people in the hotel.

 

Xathabat sat next to him."why would you try to kill youself, i know its persnal to ask but...never mind it was a bad question..." she mummbled. she looked at him worried." well im happy your not dead...your a good friend roxas, and i would be so dad if you were gone but then again my feelings dont count but im sure demyx and eveyrone else would be sad. and you mean alot to them, your there friend and your not replaceable..." she said and took his arm and put his sleeve up and looked at his wrist." you cut yourself huh?" she said softly.

 

Xion took his hand, smiling. "We'll see where the wind takes us." she murmured, holding his hand tightly. "Roxas is okay...but we need to hurry." She pulled him through, then waited. She couldn't navigate portals very well, they were a weak point for her.

 

"Xathabat your feelings count..." said Roxas as a tear escaped, "Axel and Xion are to caught in eachother to even notice if I was dead." Roxas froze for a second as she pulled up his selvee, "I would have died...but Mixtsuki saved me I was laying on the ground covered in blood, I passed out because I lost to much blood that night..." said Roxas softly and quietly, he looked down hideing his face from Xathabat because he was crying, "That night I woke up in her house...She stabed my broken arm and then my leg...and then she stabbed herself, she killed herself so I hopefully wonldn't kill myself... but when she died it made me want to kill myself more" said Roxas.

 

Xathabat huged him." dont say anything like that, no matter what roxas they care about you, Axel will always be your best friend roxas...and you shouldnt kill yourself" she said she tried not to cry."and you shouldn't hide your feelings, i know how you feel...i dont like crying infront of people, i actully never wanted to laugh or smile or talk to people cause i was affraid they would laugh at me.." she said.

 

Roxas looked at Xathabat for a second then hid his face in his hands, but first he pulled his selve to hide the cut. "She was the only one who stopped me from killing myself...and now she is gone." said Roxas, "what if I am not able to control myself, What If I try to kill myself agian and then actually die... I don't think any one would miss me...well, you and Demyx would, but proably no one else!" Roxas' voice was muffled and he was so confused for some reason. "Everyone once did make fun of me when I cried...I try so hard not to cry but..." Roxas's voice trailed off, he could speak anymore, that memeory lead to Mixtsuki agian.

 

Xathabat huged him again."i won't let you kill yourself and the others would notice...and you can always cry infront of me i promise not to laugh." she said and wiped her tears away.

 

Roxas nodded crying still he looked at xathabat, "Thank you...see your not helpless." said Roxas he smiled at her.

 

Xathabat noded."yes,but im not much as a help..." she said."what would it take to smile for real?" she asked and smiled weakly back.
