The Escape

It would be like playing with fire, but Axel had found himself content with the one most unlikely person he thought he wouldn't be drawn to. It was very difficult on how he had come into this kind of predictment, but he liked it. The whole experience was passion and exciting to him. He laid there in bed with her wrapped in his arms. He didn't care what kind of consequence that could happen. It seemed right to him either if it was a spur of a moment type thing. He would never forget this night and that was the great a feeling in his non existant soul.

 

Xion stirred slightly, opening her blue eyes. "Hi." she murmured, her small face not pale for once. She smiled, hugging him tightly as she brushed her hair out of her face. There was no way she would give this back. She liked Axel way too much. He was a nice guy after all, not some scary pyro who hung out with Larxene. Larxene hated Xion. She pulled Axel closer, gently pressing her lips to his.

 

Axel smiled at her as he brought his fingers to shift at her hair so that he could look at her face and her blue eyes. They seem to be sparkling this time as if full of life. He was glad that she seem more alive this time. Perhaps this all that was needed to have her think differently about him. "Hi! Sleep well?" He leaned in and kissed her back.

 

She nodded, smiling. "What about you?" she murmured, toying with his hair gently. She was happy, or as happy as she ever remembered being. This was a new feeling, contentment. She liked it, wanted to keep it forever.

 

Axel smiled back as he let her play with his hair. He was very happy and content and sounded more at peace now. "Yes, extremely," he nodded as he wrapped an arm around her.

 

She smiled, snuggling up against his warmer body and closing her eyes. She liked this too much to let it go right now. "What do you think the others are doing?" she murmured, still playing with his hair. It was smooth, oddly, and kinda silky. She liked it.

 

Axel played with the bangs of her hair as he watched her close her eyes. He let her guide her hand in his spikes which of course were smooth and silky because of he kept them that way. "I don't know. If they were in trouble I would of known," he replied as he kissed her again. He didn't want this to end.

 

She felt his lips against hers, and felt hers curve up into a small smile as she kissed him back, reading his thoughts. They both wanted to stay this way forever. She nodded, burrowing closer to his body to keep warm. "Let's just stay here for a while longer." she murmured.

 

Axel shifted his postion so that now she was wrapped up in his arms. He held onto her letting her lean her head on his chest. He had never seen her this happy before and wanted to keep her happy. "Yes, that will be fine." He added as he stretched a little bit to be more comfortable. He was more tired now that he thought he would of been. It was alot of energy with the time they had, but it was worth it.

 

She smiled, her mind already drifting. She closed her eyes, her head on his chest as she slowly traced the lines there. She had never been this happy, or felt this complete. This is my happy place, she thought with a smile. She never wanted to leave.

 

Axel let his eyes drift off to sleep as he cuddled closer to her. He was extremely tired and seem worn out. It was in a good way. New experience were good and now he was more relaxed than ever. Finally he had a girl friend.

 

He looked away having his back to her. "I wanted to help you so it was my stupidity for hurting myself in the way I did, but my intentions were there. Sometimes I just don't think."

 

Xathabat smiled."you could have fooled me, you always seem like you think alot, and not in a bad way."she said." thank you demyx, and your not stupied, to me i think your pretty smart." she smiled.'i dont understand why he helped me...i mean i yelled at him when we were in prison and i ditched him in the forest..'she thought to herself looking at him sadly.

 

Xion slept lightly, ready to jump out of bed at the first sign of trouble, but still catching up on her rest. She smiled slightly, still playing with his hair even in her sleep.

 

Axel continued to sleep some more as he seemed more soundless as ever. He was the most happiest nobody in the world right now. It was soothing that Xion was still playing with his hair and he liked the feeling already. Normally he didn't allow anyone to touch his spikes, but she was different. He had grown to trust her.

 

Roxas walked up stairs to his hotel room, sitting down on his bed, today was a busy day and tomarrow would be bussier. He sighed thinking of Axel and Xion, he then shook his head, shakeing those thoughts out of his head. He sighed once agian, he changed into some thing more comfurtable to sleep in and then fell asleep.

 

Opening her eyes, Xion continued playing with his hair, but frowned thoughtfully, looking into the distance. It was almost like she could see the person she was looking for, now she had to find him. She smiled at Axel, then snuggled back in. It could wait, she could always find him.

 

The cold feeling in his body was forgotten and even gone as he went back into his dreamless thoughts. It was amazing as one time he used to resent Xion because of she was ruining their little dueo with the clock tower, that he had with Roxas, but now things had gotten deeper than that. Spending more time had gotten him to trust her, but even so he wondered what Roxas would think if he knew this was happening. He couldn't deny that he didn't care for her now, because he surely does now.

 

Demyx nodded and gave her a hug, glad that she was there to understand him and it sure felt nice knowing that he had been appreciated and even called smart.

 

Xathabat was still comfused of why he was being nice but she smiled and huged back, she looked at demyx sadly."im worried about the others, they have been gone for a while now..."she said softly.
