The Escape

Xion, more surprised then anything, kissed him back, the sane part of her mind wondering how the hell it had come to this. The other part didn't care. It was going to stay this way. She hesitated, then brought her arms up around his neck, gently, almost instinctively. She wondered if he would hurt her, but pushed that thought away. He had said he wouldn't.

 

Xathabat closed her eyes tighter and peeked a look at demyx."i c-cant breagth" she coughed.

 

Axel continued to hold Xion securely as he seemed to enjoy this at the moment. It had been a long time since he had held anyone like this. Like in his past life which was vague, but it was forgotten since he had joined the organization. He was surprised that she kissed him back and half expected her to push him away, but he didn't. Now if only he could get on the bottom line of what was bugging her and get past it. If she wouldn't tell him, then he couldn't help her. "Is there anything else you need to tell me?" He asked pulling her away gently.

 

She looked up at him, blue eyes filled with emotion. "I'm scared." she whispered. "I hear people screaming, in my head. I can't fight, it hurts too much when they start. I'm scared to even touch you.." she hesitated, trembling slightly, "when the last time a guy held me..." she drifted off, looking away.

 

Axel folded his arms as he looked at her. He wanted to know what was on her mind. She seem to be able to read his and he needed to know what he could do to help. "Just tell me what happened," he pulled her by hand and made her face him. "I do know that you can fight by the way," he replied smiling somewhat.

 

Demyx bit his lower lip. "Why? What is wrong?" He was now overall concerned and he wanted to help her in anyway he could, but he needed to know the details. "You need oxygen don't you?"

 

Xathabat held her neck tears rolled down her cheek."de-demyx...s-sorry" she whispered and ran out the door and to the burnt forest and fell to her knees near the rock she sat on.'i dont want you to see me cry...' she thought and statrted to whimper

 

(OOC: Oh boy more drama.)

"Xathabat come back here!" He ran after her not wanting to lose someone who cared about him. He found her crying in a corner. "Xathabat what is wrong? You can tell me," he sat down next to her.

BIC: Xathabat coughed, she started to get some air in her lungs but still had trouble breathing, she wiped her tears away and stood up and smiled weakly.

 

"Come on you have to tell me? How am I supposed to help you if you won't tell me anything?" He smiled afterwards and rubbed her back to console her.

 

Xathabat hung her head."i..dont know...wuts wrong with me...i can't breagth..." she said barly able to breagth.

 

"Then there must be something that I can do to help. Do you need to get medical help? I can always get that." He asked her as he continued to rub her back. "Or how about this?" He brought his lips to hers and breathed some of his own air into her.

 

Xathabat started to breagth again and took a few steps back."thanks..."she mummbled.

 

"Oh no. Did I upset you by doing that? I was just trying to help you?" He seemed hurt and looked away from her. "I thought I was helping, but no I freaked you out again."

 

"no, you didnt..its just...no one has ever been so close to me..."she said feeling bad she huged him.

 

She smiled slightly, then spontaneously reached up and touched his face, her palm brushing from his cheek to his jaw, her eyes sparkling. Her hand dropped back to her side, her blue eyes calm again. "I went for a walk." she murmured. "He caught me alone, after......" she took a deep breath, then smiled. "Just wait until they start screaming again. It is very distracting."

 

Axel was confused now by the they and the screaming part. "Well I need to get your mind off it then," It didn't bother him when she had touched his cheek and his jaw, thoug he smiled as he felt her bangs and let them slide on his fingers. "You are a very interesting person, and don't worry I will protect you," he smiled at her.

 

She blushed slightly, closing her eyes. She liked this, this closeness. It wasn't anything like what she had had with Roxas. He had always seemed to push her away. Axel didn't push her away. "Interesting, hm?" she smiled a little, opening her eyes again. The blue in them seemed to shine. "I always thought eccentrical was the word."

 

He turned back to her, his face close to hers and he returned the hug. "Good for I thought it was something that I did."

 

Xathabats face turned red at how close they were."we should uh go back to the hotel..." she said kinda nervous.
