The Escape

Xion shuddered, holding to him tightly. "But if he..." she stopped. Axel could take care of himself. He had proven it before. He would be okay. She shook her head, then held tighter, letting a few tears fall. Never show any weakness. Never... she wouldn't break down here.

 

Axel held onto to her tightly as he had made himself a promise to protect her like he would with his other friends. That is if they would let him. "He won't hurt me, I have dealt with so many bad humans it like a piece of cake to me now," He tried to console her. "Everything is going to be all right,"

 

Xion smiled slightly, rubbing away her tears so he wouldn't see them. "But this human...it's like he..." she stopped, cold terror sweeping through her chest at the memories. The shadows moving, the deathlike eyes. If Axel hadn't held her, she would have been banging her head against the walls. Anything to make it all go away. As it was, she closed her eyes tightly, biting her lip till she tasted blood. She had to endure this, so he woudln't see how bad it was.

 

Xathabat smiled a bit."im going to go swiming."she said she got dressed back in her swimsuit and went to the hot tub and sat down,and sighed of relaxation.

 

"Um okay?" He watched her just bolt out there like that. "Was it something I said? Am I coming off to strong?" He didn't know if he scared her away and so he just lied on the bed pondering if he messed things up already.

 

Xathabat splashed the waters a bit."i needed to get out my face was so red,he would have laughed at me."she said sadly she played with the water more.'i hope he dosent think i dont like him now.' she thoght watching the water dance.

 

Rolling on his side, he sighed not knowing if he did anything wrong or not. "Man I bet I did scare her off. I'm such an idiot," he slapped his forehead and hung his head down.

 

Xathabat started to get to warm and got out she finshed thinking and wraped herself in a towel and went back to the room and sat down in a chair."sorry i left so quickly...its just...my face was so red i didnt want you to laugh at me."she said blushing and smiled.

 

Axel kept comforting Xion to do the best of the only way he knew how to comfort her. "It's okay. Can you tell me about all this? I would really like to know," he said softly in her ear. He had seen her vulnerable at times, and knew that something was really bugging him.

 

She hesitated, then held out her hand. "I can show you my memory." she murmured, her eyes filled with pain. "I can't speak about it, and when I do think about it.." she touched her split lip. "I can only show you....but only if you choose." She refused to take someone's choices away if she could.

 

Stared into the sky wondering if the others got his message. He hoped they did and he hoped they understood.hoped they He was wondering if they came for him, he wouldn't. he hoped they wouldn't reconize him, they proably would, but he looked so much different with his hair shaggy instead of spikes. He sighed laying back down and going to sleep.

 

"Oh for I thought it was something I did," He layed on the bed and stretched himself out to get more comfortable. "So I'm going to take a nap. You can stay if you want." He rolled on his side and shut his eyes.

 

Xathatbat noded and then looked out the window,she could see the burned forest she torched,she could see her self burning it again crying but angrey.she started to cry softly.she sumoned her syth and looked at her reflection in it."monstor..."she whispered.

 

Axel held her hand and rubbed it with his other as he stepped down to her level. "Go ahead and show me," He replied as he knew there was something bothering her and they couldn't focus on finding Roxas until she was okay.

 

Xion hesitated, then put her hand over his, and closed her eyes. She felt her stomach drop to the floor, then opened her eyes. She could hear screaming, and shivered. It was her screaming. "Axel.." she whispered, then pointed. "It was there." She shivered again, wishing she could leave. She couldn't, not until Axel said so.

 

Axel nodded his head slightly yet he didn't understand by what was there. What was she pointing at? "Can you elaborate?" He whispered in her ear wishing he could tell what had happened in her mind. He closed his eyes to try to see it through her view.

 

She looked up at him, then hugged him. "It was in that alley. I can't go farther...if I...I won't be able to hold it, and I, if not you, will go insane." she smiled slightly. "Unless you wish to go back already."

 

Xathabat got a pain in her chest and she couldnt breagth,she fell to the floor with a thump and closed her eyes tightly and started to cry.

 

Demyx woke up from his nap and found Xathabat on the ground once more. Kneeling down, he picked her up in his arms and placed her on the bed. "Xathabat? Are you okay?" He shook her gentely.

 

Axel slowly nodded his head, but he needed to know what the heck was bothering her. If this was going to work she would have to learn to trust him. He wasn't going to hurt her, but he felt he needed to know. "If it is too painful to bring up then don't, but I don't want you to have any more fears of anything," He kept his arms around he and kissed her softly.
