The Escape

OOC: Sorry firemage, I'm just gonna post once more, then I'll wait.

BIC: Xion shivered, feeling the cold fringes of her madness reaching for her. She didn't know if she could push it back, not yet. Memories started flashing faster, people she knew, but didn't know, places she had seen, but hadn't. They weren't her's. She put her hands to her head, a single thought reaching for her through the chaos. "I'm sorry...." Was that Roxas? She opened her eyes, unaware she was crying. What the hell?

 

Xathabat smiled."arent we enjoying ouselve and arent we knowing one another?" she giggled.

 

Roxas' head hurt, his vision was blurred. The memories flooded throught his thoughts. The memory was about when he was dateing Mixtsuki. he shooke it out of his head. Think about how the others were donig. I can't go back...I cause everyone near me Misery... thought Roxas.

 

"Uh that's is the idea, but you seem to not understand what I was getting at so I'll show you." He leaned towards her and kissed her on the cheek.

 

Xathabat blushed."b-but what about the others?" she asked nerouvsly.

 

"They will be fine. Axel will find them for he always does," he climbed out of the pool and let the water evaporate into his skin, thus increasing his energy power level. He turned to his side, his boxers dripping droplets from them as he pulled his black leather pants over them, and slipped his cloak over his pectorals now hidden from view. He would let her think of the kiss he gave her, as he left the pool area and headed back to his room wondering if she would follow him or not?

 

Xathabat jumped out of the pool and followed him."hey demyx....thanks..."she said smiling and huged him.

He glanced at her following him and he felt himself being hugged. "No problem," he picked her up in his arms and carried her to their room and locked the door so no one would bother them.

BIC: "i could walk you know,and what are you doing locking the door?" she said nerouvsly

 

Axel held her close to him as he rubbed her back. "We are all lost in some way. No, I don't want you to die, I would miss you," he knew that she was crying and didn't know why, but thought that she was afraid and confused. There was a feeling in him edging for something, but he wouldn't push it. Her body seem to cold now, and he did the only thing he knew without burning her. He brushed his lips onto her hers giving her a warm sensation then let go, holding her tightly.

 

Roxas sat up as soon as the nurse came in. Roxas watched the girl as she changed something on one of the machines Roxas was hooked up on. "um...miss can you tell me what happened?" said Roxas.

"uh...someone stabed you in the arm and then in the leg." said the Nurse, Roxas looked at his leg that was wrapped up.

"Uh...when am I going to released?" Said Roxas he hoped it was before Five.

"your most likely going to be released in two day sir." said The nurse.

"But I have a meeting for a job at five thought!" said Roxas.

"Sorry but you can't go...maybe we can get the people to come here." said the nurse, "where do you have an work interveiw at?"

"The Roselight Inn..." said Roxas, "I want to work at the resturant."

"Okay...I'll see if the interveiw could take place here." said Nurse leaveing.

Xion stood still, like a deer caught in the sudden light, then looked up at him, her eyes wide. "Axel...." three different sensations ran through her, all at once. One was fire, burning through her, making her tingle. She kinda liked it. The second was everything seemed to slow around her, like she had been frozen. The third almost overuled the others. It was fear, and it made her breath come faster, her head pound. She couldn't stop the flashes from that night, but she wanted to. She was afraid of being afraid. Ironic? Instead she held onto him tightly, and tried to stop crying.

 

Roxas wrote a letter to Axel, hopefully Xion would read it, the letter said...

Dear Axel,
Sorry for leaveing so suddenly.
For some reason it seems...
like when i'm around,
Someone always suffers
I hate to say this but i may not come back.
And tell Xion I'm sorry.
Sincerily your friend,
Roxas​

There was a stamp on it telling Axel that Roxas was in an inn called Rose Light Inn. Roxas wrote this down quickly with his broken hand. He then portelled the Letter to Axel.

 

Axel kept her snuggly in his arms as he thought of how to explain of what he just did. In a way he liked it, but he wasn't going to hurt her, or anymore of his friends. They were friends, but it seemed that it slowly it could be progressing to something more than that. "I am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, or what came over me," he replied. His eyes then glanced at something in a portal and he grabbed hold of the letter with his free hand as he had one still holding onto Xion.

 

She shook her head, smiling slightly. "It's not you, it's me. You see....there was this guy..." but she stopped. Gently brushing her fingers against the letter, her eyes widened. "It's from Roxas.." she murmured, pulling her fingers back to her chest. "Why would he not come himself?" Her blue eyes looked up and met Axel's green ones.

 

Axel caught sight of what she was about to say, but the letter was seem more like an interest to him as well. "I don't know. This is not like him," Meeting her gaze as if wondering also about why Roxas didn't deliver it himself. Without another second drawing near he ripped the envelope opening. His eyes shifted towards the print and began reading it. He then dropped it, as it was hard to take in.

 

Xion stepped back, reaching to touch the letter. She was almost knocked to her feet. The emotions that had gone into this letter were so powerful. "Axel?" she tenatively asked, pulling her hand back for the second time. "What did it say?" Loneliness and pain rocked her body, making her throat tighten. What had Roxas been thinking?

 

Axel stood quiet for a short time until he grasped the letter. "It said that he may not be coming back?" He replied in a soft voice as he handed her the letter for her to read it. He didn't know what to think, but it was upsetting for him.

 

She bit her lower lip, taking the letter, this time prepared for the emotions. It wasn't so bad, but it still hurt. Her eyes widened as she read as quickly as possible, then she shakily handed the letter back to him, tasting blood. She must have bitten through her lip. Touching it, she closed her eyes, then opened them. "What do we do?" her voice was a mere whisper.

 

Axel looked at Xion with a serious expression on his face. He needed to know what was going through his friend's head. He needed answers."I think we should talk to him," He summoned a portal and went through it as he waited for Xion.
