The Escape

She watched him, then sighed. "I would rather not pull it from your mind, Roxas." she murmured. "But I will, if I have to." The experience would be unpleasant and it would hurt, but she needed to know. She led him to the bed and made him sit down.

 

Roxas sat down, and then ended laying down. he turned his back towrads Xion. "Why do you need to know about it...it has something to do with me so...just don't worry about it." Roxas thought it would make her mad slightly. He coughed up blood, but he covered his mouth before anyone could tell.

 

Xion took a deep breath. "I'm sorry." she whispered, then closed her eyes, finding her source of power deep inside her. She went into it, then lashed out at Roxas' mind with it, grabbing hold, and slowly going through his memories. She winced at the pain, but kept going. To any one else's view, they would see her wtih her eyes closed, both of them glowing slightly.

 

"Xion..." said Roxas weakily and angerily,he turned around to see that she had her eyes shut and they were glowing slightly. there was blood all over his face and running out of his mouth. He coughed once again and this time he didn't cover his mouth it was on the bed, he grabed his stomch with both hands it hurt extremly bad. "Xion I can't trust you anymore." said Roxas weakily, he coughed up more blood and endded up passing out.

 

Phenox reached his room. "i might as well go for a swim."

 

She ignored him, and kept going, concentrating. She couldn't leave his mind like this in any case. Her head felt full to bursting, and she pulled away, shaking. Now she had to go through them herself, and try not to lose herself in the process. Xion tucked Roxas into the bed, a single tear slipping down her face as she smiled slightly. One safe, three to go. Backing away, she wobbled, then leaned against the wall, and closed her eyes, exhausted.

 

Roxas woke up agian the fire was back within him. He turned his back towards Xion the blood was still running out of the corners of his mouth. "Xion...w-why...did you need to do that...they are my memories not yours...you don't need to about them." said Roxas weakily and angerily, he was coughing agian this time there was very little blood. Roxas let a few tears fall but then stop. One of the two people he trusted, broke his trust.

 

Phenox put his trunks on and headed to the pool.

 

She held her head, not needing this right now. She wondered if Axel liked her gift now. "I need to know." she whispered. "I gave you a choice." It wasn't like it was easy for her, taking someone's life and trying to keep it from mixing with hers.

 

Phenox got to the pool, took off his shirt, and jumped in.

 

Roxas sat up and looked at Xion, "Xion! Why do you need to know my memories? I have the right to know!" said Roxas angerily. He coughed up blood agian but didn't allow it to afect him. "What choice?" said Roxas.

 

She shivered, then looked up, her eyes haunted. "Because of what I need to see." she murmured, fighting tears. Had she ever been more alone then now? "I'm sorry, Roxas. You can hurt me, if you wish."

"What do you need to see?" said Roxas he looked at Xion, a fire rageing in his eyes. "I wish I could bring myself to at least leave, but I struggleing just to talk to you! I wouldn't even bother hurting you because It's to useless and it won't sovle anything!" said Roxas, "I trusted you but that trust has been broken and it always will be broken." Roxas let a tear go, but kept the rest in.

 

She held out a small hand, her blue eyes weary and sad. "Can you trust me one last time? For me to show you?" She didn't expect him to say yes, but offered anyways. "A picture is worth a million words."

 

"No...but you can show me." Said Roxas he let another tear roll down his cheack. "A million words...yeah right..." Roxas looked down, the pain in his stomach came back. Roxas fell off the bed. landing on the floor. He layed in a ball, holding his stomach, tears escapeing.

 

She sighed and knelt beside him, barely keeping from crying herself. "Come on, Roxas." she murmured, sound like Namine for one instant. "Do you want to know bad enough?" She didn't, wouldn't, consider the pain this was going to cause her.

 

Roxas looked up at the sound of namine's voice. "I really don't care any more." said Roxas, he coughed up a little blood, he was very pale now. "I don't care about what you do." said Roxas curling back into the ball feeling so much pain.

 

Xion flinched slightly, then sighed. She had deserved that. She had invaded his mind after all. Again, she had to wonder what Axel thought of her now. She backed up, then went over to Axel. "I'll be by the woods." she murmured to him, hurrying out of the door and out of the hotel before he could stop her. He could come after her, but chances were he would look after Roxas.

 

Roxas watched Xion angerily. "Namine..." said Roxas shakeing his head, "It wasn't her...it was Xion...I'm pretty sure she is gone." The fire inside died down and the coughing sinsation stopped. "Xion...why?" said Roxas to himself, "ughhh..." Roxas puched the floor angerily, he slowly stood up walking towards the door hopeing no one would stop him. "I'm leaveing...I cause everyone around me pain." said Roxas looking at Axel and smileing slightly. He then left heading the oppisite direction of Xion.
