The Escape

Roxas looked up at a window and could see Axel, and Xion sitting near it. he stared at it then turned away looking at the burning trees.

 

"If we knew ourselves." She pointed out, smiling slightly. "How can you stand to be so warm all the time?" she asked, changing the subject suddenly. "I mean, I'm almost always cold, but how can you be like that all the time?"

 

"It doesn't matter if we knew our selves. What does matter is what we do know," He answered her question. He laughed a small bit when she changed the subject. "I have gotten used to it, my element, power keeps me this way. It was the way I was created. It can be a pain when I burn things or lose my temper, but I live with it. I consider it an gift," He smiled at her.

 

She smiled, looking up at him. "Dont you wish you could be someone else? Something different?" she asked, her blue eyes curious. "I mean....What if you hurt someone accidently? Someone important."

 

Demyx had his whole body wrapped in the blanket including his head. He was to embarrased to tell them that his clothes needed to be washed and was comfortable in the softness of the warmth of the blanket. "Mmmmm... he moaned snuggly deeper into it.

 

Axel looked at Demyx again noticing he was still in the blanket. "Come on Demyx get dressed already," he motioned with his hand. He turned in Xion's direction. "I only know who I am as an nobody. I can control my powers most of the time," he placed his head down knowing that he did have hurt others with his powers before and didn't mean to, but it just happened.

 

Demyx sat up with the blanket around him and whispered his words into Axel's ear. "My clothes are dirty and they smell a little. I can't put them on until they are clean."

 

Axel heard Demyx's confession and only seem calm as he waved his hand in the air making an laudry machine and dryer appear. "Now, your problem is solved," he said quietly.

 

the sunrise started to peek over the land,Xathabat winced at the light but put her blank exspression, warm tears started to run down her cheek as the dark fire she created burned the last of the tress into ashes.

Demyx gave Axel a huge embrace with his arms and threw his dirty clothes into the washer once it had filled up with water.

 

OOC: Just talking. I like rhetorical, sometimes XD

BC: Xion giggled at the two's display, her eyes dancing. "You could have just said it out loud, Demyx." she murmured. "I'm just a girl, but still." Axel's words made memories she didn't want come back. She shook her head, clearing it, then hugged Axel after Demyx did, then hugged Demyx for good measure.

 

OOC: Roxas is standing beside Xatthabata...Just aying that so you know....:D

"Xathabata...Are y-you okay?" said Roxas weakily. He coughed slightly he put his hand on her shoulder.

 

Demyx looked down at her small frame hugging him and it made him feel important and valueable to her. He loved being the older brother image. Out of the goodness of who he was, he returned the embrace as well.

 

She grinned up at him. "I'm not THAT small." she said, tickling him gently. Even though she was, didn't mean she had to admit it.

 

Axel shifted his gaze on both of his friends and the embracing thing was a happy moment for them, but he wondered what Xion was not telling him. He could tell that she had things on her mind, but he wasn't going to push her. "Are you feeling okay?"

 

Thinking carefully how to answer, Xion smiled big. "I'm fine, really. Just a little tired. Things have been going...fast for me." She wasn't about to tell them what the guy in the alley had done to her, or the new worry that was plaguing her

 

Axel nodded his head half approvingly not really believing that she was fine, but he didn't want to push her away either. He tried that with a friend and the situation was disasterious. "If you say, we can rest for a while," he added walking around the room to stretch.

 

She thought for a bit, wrapping her arms around her stomach. "That might be a good idea....at least for me..." she wanted to tell them, she trusted them, but....it would disgust them. They wouldn't want her anymore, especially now.

 

Roxas disided to leave Xathabata. he went to the meadow that he was kidnapped in. he curled into a ball near a tree, and started to sob quietly.

 

Demyx raised his eyebrow not sure if Xion was okay or not. On the surface she seemed fine, but he could tell in her eyes that she was holding something back what ever it was. "Are you sure you're all right?"
