The Escape

OOC: ok...

BIC: Xathabat got up and washed her face from the blood dripping down her lip,but more blood just flowed.She walked outside and roamed the streets alone, humming sadly.

 

(OOC: Where did Xathabat wash her face?)

He was in the shower, washing off the sweat from his body, his clothes piled on the ground. He needed a new set or at least needed to wash them.

 

Axel smirked at her reply as he looked into her eyes. "We see it all the time, like the sun, it rises and falls. Like a rollercoaster and that is what life is, everything has it's up and downs. It is how hope relates to our world. We connect with each other and believe and have trust for each other then we have hope," He answered smiling.

 

She looked away, thinking. "It's hard to go up from down....and easy to go down from up. Have you ever loved someone?" she asked unexpectedly.

 

Axel raised his eyebrow at her with curiousity as he tried to think back about love when he in fact had another life. "Once...but she died," he sighed. Looking back at her. "Why do you ask?"

 

Xion looked down. "I'm sorry." she murmured, avoiding his gaze. "I just....you're always curious, you never seem sad....." she smiled slightly. "Never seemed sad."

 

Axel looked at her and smiled slightly. His fingers playing with her hair in a playful matter and then let his fingers fall. "Of course I can become sad. When my friends are gone, I get that way. I remain strong and try to not let things bother me. It was just an random question out of the blue so of course I would be curious of why you asked about love,"

 

She smiled, looking up again at him. "We aren't supposed to feel, yet we do. I don't know what love feels like....of everything I could, I don't know what it feels like." She blushed slightly, looking away again.

 

Axel watched her turn away as he saw her blush. "We have memories of it, and that is where we seem to express our emotions. We can feel some things and that is physical pain, and emotional pain. It is very wierd, but it is there. It is like some sort of special bond of someone you deeply care about more than a friend. Hard to express if anything," he replied though he was confused of why she couldn't look at him now. "Why are you turning away now?"

 

Xion touched the window, her face thoughtful now. "Is love a feeling where you would give up everything for someone? Even your existence?" Her face gave away none of her feelings now, just blankness.

 

Axel scratched his head at the thought of it. "I guess, but even so it would make the other individual sad if that individual gave their life up like that," he answered to the best of his knowledge though he was skeptical of where she was going with this.

 

She traced one of the glass panes, thinking deeply. "But the other individual would be alive. They could move on, and find someone else. Especially if they didn't return the feelings....." she turned around, looking up at Axel. "Is there someone you would give your life for?"

 

Axel was confused with her question as he tried to think of an logical thing to answer by. "Even if that indivdual did move on it would take them a while to find someone they could trust. Or make them happy. It wouldn't just be the loved one who would miss them it would also be their friends," He thought about that as well. Would he be able to ever give his life for someone? He shook his head in denial, but knew he in fact would. "Probably, but it depends on the circumstances I was in," he replied truthfully.

 

She nodded, watching him. "I'm confusing you, aren't I?" she asked, a small smile playing on her face. "I just....get confused in that area."

 

Demyx was listening to their conversation behind the door, the lower section wrapped in a terry clothed white towel. He sat against the side of the tub and became deep in thought picking up on what they were talking about. He rememebered Xion talking to him about love before and it confused him. He remained where he was not wanting to bother their special moment with him barging out of the bathroom.

 

Axel blinked his eyes a bit to look at her face. "Yes, and I think you enjoy messing with my mind," he added. "Though there must a reason why you would want to talk about it," he smiled a bit.

 

She shook her head. "I'm not trying to manipulate you. Although..." a hint of a grin slipped on her face, "that look on your face when you're confused is adorable." She looked away, not planning on answering the second question.

BIC: Xathabat got to the edge of the forest and sat down on a rock in front of it.

 

Demyx sighed deeply having heard enough of their conversation. He came out of the bathroom, with his pile of dirty clothes in his other arm. The towel was still wrapped around his waist and he just sat on the bed not saying a word.

 

Xathabat closed her eyes and sighed.she summonedher syth and started scratching up a tree.she wanted to go easy on it.
