The Escape

Anita's eyes were closed and she wasn't moving at all.

 

"Oh please," Elizabeth said about to burst to tears, "I dont know what to do..." she looked up hopeing someone would show up. She whisled and was happy to hear that Nova was near by. "Nova!" Elizabeth called. Nova came walking over since she didnt heal herself.

 

Anita suddenly coughed a little and opened her eyes. "Relax... I was just stunned for a second..." She said.

 

"Oh antia, What Were You Thinking?!" Elizabeth said hugging her but not hard enough to hurt.

 

"I was thinking that I have to help everybody..." Anita said and gently pushed her away. "I was too self centered and too afraid of death to realise that I just put everybody in grave danger..." She felt tears fall down her cheeks. "And now dad..."

 

"Anita, we dont want to lose you. We dont want to lose anyone. Please dont give up your life for us. Its not worth loseing you," Elizabeth said.

 

"Elizabeth, just listen!" Anita shouted. "It's not worth it to save my life if it means that many others lose theirs! It's better to lose only one life than to lose a whole bunch!" She forced herself to stand up, despite the pain.

 

"Lives cant Be compared!" Elizabeth said not like being yelled at.

 

Anita grew angrier. "I can't just stand by and watch everybody I love die right in front of my face!" She shouted as loud as she could. Her voice then softened a bit. "I don't care if I can compare lives or not... There's no point in living if the ones you love are just getting injured... I can help..." Tears fell down her face.

 

"Becomeing suicidal isnt going to help anyone," Elizabeth said,"Will is going to die without you. He's not going to just stay alive at the cost of your life."

 

"I'm not becoming suicidal..." Anita said. "I never even said I was killing myself... I just said that I was going back to the shrine to see if there's some way I can fix it..." She looked up at Elizabeth. "And Will won't die... I'll do anything I can to make sure of that..."

 

"Then let us go with you!" Elizabeth said, "We can help!"

 

Anita hesitated for a moment, but then she nodded. "Alright..." She said.

 

"Thanks," Elizabeth said hugging her then looked over at Nova, "Why wont you heal yourself?" Nova just bowed her head.

 

Anita smiled and looked over at Nova. "Nova... are you okay...?" She asked worridley.

 

Nova would say anything which only made Elizabeth worry more, "Lets just head back now," she said takeing Anita's hand and walking at Nova's side.

 

Anita still felt some pain from falling down the hill, but she just set it aside for now. She was getting really worried about Nova.

 

"Where have you two been?!" Isabelle came on Dust, "I've been looking everywhere."

"We had some trouble," Elizabeth said.

 

Anita looked down, feeling a bit shameful. She also had that feeling again... And she knew for sure that it was their father... The feeling was so strong...

 

"Anita?" Isabelle looked over, "What happned?"

"We dont want to talk about it," Elizabeth said, "soemthing is wrong with Nova too. What happened with you?" Isabelle looked away.

"Lets get back to the camp."
